This is located at Rathtala More , BELGHORIA , nearest to Dunlop . A four point , very busy root . You can take a bus for Dakshineswar,Shyambazar, Golf green, Ballygunge,Kona, Barrackpore etc etc .

Good place, also having a nice canteen. Excellent food available there with low price...

Inefficient officials who are reluctant to work & agents as well as workers who try to mislead people every step of the way either for:a)Being reluctant to do their jobb)Favoring their own pupils.Hope the government brings some changes into this soon

Most busiest place in Rathtala. It has a big auditorium hall named Nazrul Mancha. It also has a restaurant too providing good food at cheap rate. All types of municipal facilities are available here too.

This municipal office located in the beautiful place of Belgharia Rathtala on the B.T.Road. The area covered by the municipality is the heritage places of West Bengal. World famous Dakshineswar Bhabatarini Temple, Adyapeeth Temple, Famous Pathbati of Das Gadhdhar, Nityananda Mahaprabhu and Srikrishna Chaitnya; Bari Masjid of Kamarhati are situated in Dakshineswar & Ariadaha village which are under maintenance of Kamarhati municipality. They are maintaining the big plant of drinking water, Drainage system under Ganga Auction plan and electrical Burning ghat in these area. Till now many areas of Ariadaha and Dakshineswar are flooded by 30 minutes continuous rain. They are trying to maintain underground drainage system which was not built properly. Belgharia town is other side of B.T.Road which is also under maintenance of this municipality. This area was developed very rapidly and conjugated. So it is a big job to maintain this.

With the clearance of nominated mayor and nine older men at the regim of East India Company in the 1726 the Municipal Administration started its journey. Though Calcutta now Kolkata witness the pattern of development in 1794 with the decision of definite boundaries of Municipal and Judicise purpose. Upto 1864 the British has concentrated all development whatsoever within the visionary of Kolkata.In the historical background the political scenario the British Empire has to take decision to extend the local autonomy all over the Bengal especially the big and growing business center and enacted the District Municipal Improvement Act, 1864 and the District Town Act, 1868 to take up the development and conservancy work by the help of the police.

This place is also well known as Rathtala. Very crowded area. All good and vehicles are easily available for travelers.

Kamarhati Municipality came into its existence in 1899 but was within the north Subarbun Municipalities. The area was mainly Ariadaha, Kamarhati, Bonhooghly, Dakshineswar, Baranagar, Belghoria, Palpara, Nowpara, Basudevpur, Nainan, Nija Nainan, Nain(east) and Nija Smriti. In 1881-1882 the North Subarban Municipality renamed as Baranagar Municipality. And after 17 years the Kamarhati separated from Baranagar. Kamarhati Municipality’s separated existence was demanded mainly by owner of Kamarhati Jutemill alongwith other some respected and influential members of the then nominated councilors and Ariadaha, Kamarhati, Dakshineswar and Belghoria being included in Kamarhati Municipality by gazette notification.The municipality is working fine.

Very Renounced and one of the busiest municipality.All the facilities are available and also this one located in a very useful place.Somtimes so staffs harrage little bit but that type of people are available in every government places we cant expect nothing from them.Also very neat and clean. Rathtala is a neighbourhood in Kamarhati that comes under the jurisdiction of Ward No. 18 of Kamarhati Municipality.There is a hospital nearby, named Sahid Khudiram Bose Hospital. Many bus goes through there.Buses towards Barrackpore, Barasat, Sodepur, Madhyamgram, Dunlop, Dakshineswar and even towards Belgharia goes through this junction on Barrackpore Trunk Road.

The municipality office of Kamarhati Municipality and the adjacent Najrul Mancha at Rathtala crossing on B.T. Road is located conveniently and offers useful services.

Its an one of the oldest municipality in West bungalow having a beautiful building and auditorium where regular culture r programme being held

This is a municipality office with two auditorium one AC (Najrul Mancha ) & other Non AC (Samaj Sadan ).

Best in services ever...outdoor view is good..municipality hall NAJRUL MANCHA is better,served you air conditioned hall.

Good meal is served here in an average rate and there is discount for Rices students.

It is located at Kamarhati Municipal Office, Rath Tala, adjacent to BT Road. This municipality was established in August, 1899. Clarke (04.08.1899). Babu Nityagopal Ghoshal (04.08.1899) became the first co-mayor. The service of this 120-year-old municipality is very good. It is always working to meet the basic needs of the people of the area. The use of officers and employees is very good.
