In COVID Times of India...on a stopover to Port Blair...I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport.My experience with hotels close to airport has overall been bad as they are not upto the mark..they act as if they dont need the business...as it seems like a need based market.To my surprise and satisfaction this was a great place to stay.Excellent cleanliness... absolute safety and sanitization.The room though small was comfy and with a great view of the city. The other side rooms offer a view of the airport.The staff was meticulous, polite and efficient. They were quick in their response.As I was to leave early before the breakfast is served they were thoughtful enough to give a packed breakfast.I found the overall stay here to be pleasant one.No I am not being patronizing...take my word for it from someone who travels a lot this is a value for money place you can rely on.Kudos to the management for a job well done.

Beautiful place to stay if we are looking for transit and stay near to the airport. This is the first and nearest facility available. Staffs are wonderful and helpful in every way possible. Lunch , Dinner and breakfast quality are amazing . The rooms are nice and cozy.

Good Hotel for a short stay. All facilities were good except for the mushy smell of the carpets as one enters the room and the design of the toilet / bathroom. 24/7 dining facility available. Close to the airport , well maintained lawn, reasonably fair spread of breakfast buffet, helpful staff.

Yes, i must recommend this property. I have mentioned few points below.1- you can reach easily, even if you want then you can walk and get reach the Hotel. Only 10-12 minutes walking distance from arrival gate.2- pocket friendly.3- maintain hygiene and cleaning.

Great place. great view. just near to airport. room was nice and clean. dental kit and other necessary items were not provided which was a disappointment. asked me for early check-in charge, no one asked me earlier even brands like raddisson. This was like there was methods of earning money, not a customer friendly approach. however, bathroom was small and clean. Pretty close to airport but very far away from other tourist Destinations. lots of construction work is going around.

I stayed for 2 nights. Hospitality and service was excellent. Since it is near the airport, they can think of reducing the cost for someone who checks in late and leaves the next morning to catch another flight. Slightly over priced for a just a night halt. Also they can have a smoking zone on each floor. Rest everything was nice, food, service.

I have not stayed but want to know the size of rooms to accommodate small family with teenagers.

The service they provide is amazing, truly understand the meaning of service industry, all staff from bottom to top, all are aligned to serve the customer. The food is amazing here, not to spicy, exactly right amout of spice.Even they allowed me for early check in and they packed my breakfast early in thr morning like 4 am as my flight scheduled like that.I must say it is a wonderful stay. I will definitely be coming here again if I come to Kolkata again.

I liked everything (location, nice view, cleanliness etc) about the hotel except their policies about little bit early check-in and bit late check-out. They are too much professional. It doesnt matter how long you stay there, for few hours or few days they treat each case with same policies. Food is bit expensive. Location is perfect, just 10 min walking distance (1 km hardly, from hotel to departure gate) from the airport. Another issue I found is that with the breakfast. First day we ordered two non-veg, but there were some items missing. Next day we ordered one veg and one non-veg, but we got both non-veg and again few items were missing. After complaining on the first day same thing happened on the second day. This was not acceptable. But still I would like to stay there again if I need to stay near airport area.

Rooms were clean, sanitized and all amentias are provided. Room service is very good. Time line is followed. Location of this property is another benefit and a reason to stay here. Very close to Airport, walkable distance. However, pick up and drop on payment basis is available. Once you reach in the hotel, you are greeted and welcomed by staff members following all COVID protocols. It was a memorable visit indeed.

Fantastic location if you are staying overnight and adjacent to airport. You can easily go out of city avoiding traffic.

Starting with pros, this property offered great view from the room, cuisines and service of the staff was highly appreciated. The cons were minor but would go a long way in improving guest experiences at this property. Placement of bathroom and lavatory can have someone redesign them. Bathroom slippers, extra towel and a loofah is a must if you are providing bath gel instead of soaps.

The vermicelli based upma at the breakfast spread was simply excellent. During my previous stay too, I had written about it...a perfectly crafted dish with all the right blends

The hotel is in a very nice location, ambience and service persons are good. Rooms are good at the price I offered. The breakfast spread is decent. Please avoid in-room dining. Kolkata is a great place to eat. I bet that you can get better quality fish in some pice hotels in Kolkata where students, office goers regularly eat. The spread and quality both are terribly bad in the Hotel. Options for choosing healthy foods are also limited.

I think your Front Office need to be more active, as I have called FO to connect In Room Dining but they are unable to connect coz In Room Dinnings phone was busy..FO guy (Mr. Somnath) informed us they will connect us soon, but they didnt call back after 15 mints once again I have called but they informed us same but still I dont get any call back. Almost After 30 minutes I called them then they transfer my call and In-room guy informed me that he doesnt get any information to call me.. and one more thing during my stay I got food stain in hand towel.. I think in this pandemic situation cleanliness is most important. rest all is good. Thank you..

Best hotel in Kolkata. Staff is so co-operative. Morning breakfast is awesome. Staff in breakfast like Saurav, Jhulan and Priya are so good. If you dont like breakfast ask them they will definitely give you some special breakfast. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Gym is so good and you also have self laundry service free of cost. Also have Internet cafe in hotel for doing work. So I strongly recommend this hotel. HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS

It had been a wonderful stay for 2 nights. Walkable distance from airport, this place provides luxury, comfort and cleanliness without compromising on your safety. Right from the time you enter, you can observe the well maintained and beautifully designed property. The checkin was smooth. The room was neat and clean. The centralized AC maintained a comfortable temparature. Bed was large and both pillows were offered, firm and soft. The washroom section is well designed, had everything that is needed including a hairdryer. We had this small sofa, luggage racks and a bigger workdesk. WIFI was fast, no issues with cknnecting devices as many as you want. The place has a garden with seating, one can consider an evening walk. Breakfast has many options, and some dishes were changed on the second day, which puts it in a variable breakfast buffet. The only issue I had was on the bath, were water was clogging on heavy flow, which was resolved immediately by the in-house maintainence department. Kusosto their excellent job. To the staff here, thank you for working so hard during this time to keep up the expectations. You guys are the ones who makes our every stay safe and comfortable!

This hotel is very near to Kolkatta airport and it is easy to travel inside to city and this property is very calm and peaceful stay.

It was a wonderful experience. stayed here for the 1st time and thoroughly enjoyed the stay.staff is very helpful, cordial and polite. always smiling too. though it is a short stay but very good.all the norms are being adhered too like sanitization, using masks, gloves, social distancing. the property is also quite well spread out. it is about 10 mins walk from the airport making it very easy for commuting. the breakfast was also very good, lots of varieties to choose fromall in all a very good stay for allhighly recommended

Unlike other luxury hotels, it doesnt burn a hole in your pocket, rather provides a luxury experience within budget.We would like to make a special mention of Ms Nikita Shah (Front Desk), who went out of her way to assist us in acquiring photostats , printouts etc for our business requirements. She is indeed an asset to this property. Of course, all the staff (as mentioned earlier) are uniformly accommodating & helpful). A great experience!

Property of Holiday Inn is very well maintained. Sanitisation is done on daily basis. Comfort of staying is really very good. I will recommend this hotel who so ever stays near kolkata airport. Staff is too gud and very cooperative. Only concern is with breakfast, quality of break fast doesn’t matches with the brand holiday inn, rotten eggs, stale food, frozen fruits cuts, less variety on table.

I had come to the property along with family as I had missed a flight and had to wait until next day for my flight. Though I was in a very bad state of mind when arriving at the property I felt the stay in Holiday Inn let me cool off. During the stay i had some fun time with my 2 year old daughter and resumed onward journey with a great mood while leaving the hotel.Thank you team for making my stay pleasurable.

Excellent business hotel run by staff that is proactive and generally excellent.There was parking and this was a relief after struggling with it for a two days before in Calcutta.Breakfast was great. It would have been more better if there were no charges for late checkout,While my stay on the day of checkout it was raining out side , so I requested for a late checkout and it was chargeable, so I had to go out on rain , Except this everything was perfectly fine .

Best hotel in Kolkata. Staff is so co-operative. They follow all the protocol for covid. They are maintaining all the safety and hygiene. Morning breakfast was awesome. I ordered bread cheese omelette that was so yummy thanks to that chef and special thanks to ms. Piya for the lemon green tea in the morning without that I never start my day and the soup. I am in hurry but she bring me a soup so quickly and I enjoyed that.I always recommend to once you have to visit.

I had a connecting flight from Kolkata with 22hrs of layover. I am glad i chose this hotel for my stay. Each and every staff were so helpful. 100/100 for hospitality. Cant say much on food since i had only chicken sandwich but it was yumm. I was sceptical about the hygiene and they did not disappoint me. The whole hotel and my room was neat and clean. I checked out in the morning 6:15 since i had to catch my flight, Chiranjib was present during my time of checking out. He asked me to have my breakfast and go however i was running late so he quickly grabbed the takeaway packet and handed me saying, Maam there is a saying to never travel in empty stomach!! You all won my heart. I personally did not like the city But to experience this amazing service i wont mind taking a connecting flight again. To all the staff working there if you are reading this, A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU ALL.I highly recommend this place.

But the food for room services are little bit overpriced as the quantity is very less.There was a problem of power cut in my room but that was fixed within 5 min when I informed them.All the stuffs are really good and always listen to you, they are great and following all the covid rules.

Nice hotel to stay for business purposes with a plus side of its proximity to the airport. Nice and new property however being an Express (here express meaning - reduced in scale, I may be wrong!!) dining options are limited.However the above shortcoming (as per me) is substituted with decent and courteous staff and cleanliness.

This was my worst experience with HI Express Kolkata Airport , neither of the other properties was this poor service.1. Payment issue during checkin2. Poor room service3. Low maintenance4. Unnecessary harassment5. Poor food qualityOverall it was really unexpected from such a brand, and definitely not looking forward for further stay.

The receptionist are amazing, I requested for early check in and they gave me for no charge. And that’s not it I had an early flight so have to leave by 6 am and there breakfast starts at 6.30 am, as I was not able to do it they gave me packed breakfast that was a really kind gesture fascinating. If I were to visit Kolkata again I will be visiting this hotel only.
