I have travelled to many places in Himachal with Himachal pradesh helpline tourism and can easily say that this is the most trusted and the best tour making company in Kolkata. To elaborate the hassle-free tours that I have made with hphts, I wish to mention that right from the starting point, till the end of the tour, I did not have to bother about anything. The tour managers escorting the group are always very experienced and manage the trip very well. They have always been so friendly and helpful that I still keep in touch with many of them. The cooks and the helpers accompanying the group are also quite experienced and put on tremendous amount of workload throughout the whole duration of the trip. I always wondered whether at all they have any sleeping time during the trip.I have made at least four trips with the Hphts and never ever had any chance of complaining about anything. The hotels provided by HPHTs are always of good standard and class and the meals provided by them are simply unforgettable.Finally, one can have all these at a very reasonable price. I wish them all the best and hope they will keep up the good name in the years to come.

Experience is pretty bad. Once they get the money they start behaving very very badly. They changed our tour plan after we reached Simla & gave us plenty of trouble with Hotel bookings at all places. Need to avoid such operators completely.

I went to visit kinnaur with Himachal Pradesh Helpline Tourism from kolkata.. I want to say that it was my best tour. The hotel in shimla Royal Regency. Was very good. In sarahan Snow View Hotel has a very good view and is near bhimakali temple. In sangla we got Rock View and in kalpa Hotel Kalpa Retreat was excellent with a very good view of kinner Kailash peaks. The food was very healthy and tasty the most important thing the Drivers were very good and experienced.... Hats off to Himachal Pradesh Helpline Tourism.

Booked 11 nights package with HP Help Line tourism for four members. Experience was pathetic to say the least. Driver was from Punjab who did not know places to be visited. Neither any one from tour operator briefed him. Also driver met with a major accident and we had to move with that damaged and unsafe vehicle. There was no effort to replace the vehicle. Promises made at the time of booking were not kept. There was no support from tour operator during the entire tour and we were totally at the mercy of the driver. We felt totally cheated. Does not deserve even one star.

Nobody should go any where with this cheat tour operator. In our tour at Amritsar, Dalhousie, Dharmsala from 12th Oct , they have harassed us like anything. They have not given pick from Amritsar Airport on 12 Oct to hotel. We went to hotel at our own cost. They have not refunded. They have given us worst hotels at Amritsar and Dharmsala. Actually they are giving false name of the hotels at their memo. Totally, fraud organization . Dont go with them.

They cheated on us ... they promised our stay in good hotels but did not instead we were forced to stay at some filthy hotels with worst food facility. They also did not pick and drop us to and from airport which were included in the schedule. Totally fraud and worst organisation to go with.

Totally cheat tour operator. In our tour from 12th oct to Amritsar, Dalhousie, Dharmsala vide memo no P2627, They have cheated us for giving pick up from airport and giving hotels as per given list through out the tour. The worst tourism ever came across... they are the cheaters and liars.... during booking gave a set of hotels while touring trying to put us in different low quality hotels.... told us they work under Himachal pradesh government tourism but completely a private organisation....From day one they started to cheat us ... they promise to visit us different places but during the travel they dont take you down there.... the fraud tourism ever came across... this agent should be closed down...Tourism minister please review this kind of organisations .... its not only us they try to do but with every group of people .... the owner Mr. Navin should be thrashed out of this business such a liar and cheater of tourism business.....Unfortunately if somebody is not aware they will cheat in every step. They used to communicate with the driver at the last moment and will try to put you in low quality hotels unfortunately we have to threat every time to take us to our predefined hotels ...HP police co operates well with tourists so they are tight if you threat them to take it to the police station....Fortunately our driver Mr. Karan was v nice and co operated with us ...but when somebody is in vacation for 2 weeks with a considerable money spent no body will be willing to take the same cheating business every day....So if someone wants to travel with this cheater make sure you have the patience to handle this nuisance business .....

Sorry... If less than one star could be given I would definitely give it to this agency. I just made a Lahul Spiti tour with them few weeks ago and had faced a terrible experience from them. This agency is not a professional at all. They all need money. If you paid once they did not pay any attention to you anymore. At the 1st they would promise everything but later they just didnt care for you nor attend your queries..They did not give a tour manager at all for 13 days tour, which was previously promised by them. The driver they provided was totally arrogant. He did not listen to others. This agency gave a very little amount to the hotels so that they provided very bad and poor meal to us. Its a horrible experience for us. Please dont be traped by their promises. I think nobody is given good review against them unless paid ones.

I want to give no star to this agency. All the person related to it are so cheap and mean minded.. i am just giving the following details.1. They didnt keep their promises at all. At the time of booking they did many promises which are a trap to attract tourist.2. They took different amount from different people for the same tour. It happened with us on Lahul Spiti tour just a couple of weeks ago.3. They even contact with you after you made your full payment.4. They willfully didnt include some major sight seeing in kaza. Hence, we had to give extra 5000 to make this happen. I think this is trap also.5. At first they said a tour manger would be there but we found none. They even asked any of us how was the tour till today.6. The driver the gave was very arrogant. During going to keylong, when one of our senior passangers of age 76 become sick and we all requested him to go back to hotel but he denied. He never listened to us. Every time he picked one of his local friend who traveled with us.7. This agency dont pay sufficient money to the hotel so that the hotel gave us very poor food.It will continue friends. I just made a tour with them just a week ago. Take my word, dont believe them. They are not professional at all. They want to earn money at any cost.

We had an excellent tour of HP this June. We were a group of 11 heads HPHT planned our tour in a Tempo Traveler. Places visit was Shimla, Sarahan, Sangla, Chitkul and Kalpa. Hotels and food provided by HPHT was good and lovely hospitality. Mr. Gaurav Lamba the manager of HPHT was continuously in touch, and ensured we had a pleasant trip.

On someone else behalf.I want to share my experience recently had with Himachal Pradesh Helpline tourism. My plan was Amritsar pickup, Dalhousie, Dharmasala,Palampur, Barot Valley, Manali, Shimla, and finally dropping at Chandigarh from 01st June to 15th June,19 (Memo no P2501). At the time of booking 50% paid. Room shown at the time of booking not printed in booking slip and due payment supposed to pay at the middle of the tour (Dharmasala & Manali office). In the booking slip printout was on spot. They cleared that it is procedure. No need to worry & No payment made to Driver and before those places. After reaching Amritsar driver demanded Rs 10,000/- and hotel Rs 3000/-. Driver demands Rs 20000/- in Mcleodganj also . Otherwise he couldnt start. Rest of the payment made to different hotels without payment slip. Finally came to know Driver was 3rd party, and more exciting, vehicles paper (PB01A9499) exhausted 3months before. Driver continuously busy over the mobile while driving. Most of the Local Sight seeing ignored in every places except his personal interest for commission. They bypassed Rohtang pass for not getting the permission (According to their version although record permission given this year) although paid for. Rooms provided in Dalhousie & Barot valley was very small although DBR Deluxe room was supposed to be provided. Rooms in other places either in Top floor (Mcleodganj) without lift or too dirty and uncleaned (Manali). They hardly inform me the about next hotel. Driver took me to other hotels in other places also (Mcleodganj in lieu of Dharmasala). Complained sent over mail bounce back or they disconnect the call over Mobile. They dont have offices in Manali / Dharmasala. Local sight spot not mention in booking slip. Finally it is to be informed that Kolkata fellows (Mr Naveen Paul & Mr P K Nandy) continiously misbehaved and failed to keep the commitments made at the time of booking. Foods provided by those hotels in MAP basis was good only. I dont have intension to criticize anybody except sharing my horror.

Our journey was from Amritsar pickup to Chandigarh dropping from 01st Jun to 15 th June through Dalhousie, Dharmasala, Palampur, Barot Valley, Manali, shimla. Driver experience is very poor. Not polite & eager to show LSS. 3rd party driver, not authorised . Driver demands for money several times although it should not. Lastly found the papers of the vehicle exhausted (PB01A9499) in the March. Driver Naresh Kumar never stops the mobile while driving after several requests.Worst Hotels provided in Manali. Not only dirty and uncleaned rooms,towels were also. Rooms provided in Dalhousie is very small, somewhere rooms provided in 4th floor without lift ( McLeod ganj). Driver taken to other hotel in other places although booked somewhere. I never come to know about our next hotel unless asked.Foods provided in MAP basis were good. Authority cutoff the telephone whenever complained. Behaviour of Kolkata fellows (Mr Naveen Paul, Mr P K Nandy ) were rough and beyond atiquette. They only know about money, not services.Commitments violated in several cases. Although taken money for Rohtang but failed. Rooms and hotels shown at the time of booking not printed on paper and not given thereof. LSS Spots not printed and Driver took the advantages. It was a horrible experience in my life.

This year i went for Shimla-Manali tour ... it was a great experience!!.. the staff members were very helpful!!..the hotels were beautiful and in the proper location with beautiful scenery on its side!!..the driver was very experienced !!.. i am eagerly looking forward to visit many more places with this organization!!..

We had booked a Kalpa Kinnaur package from 22/10/2018 with Himachal Pradesh Helpline Tourism from there Kolkat Office. I am now share my experience regarding our last trip with this fake, unprofessional & cheater company.1. As per our conversation with Kolkata Office, they had confirm the package on booking amount 64800/- and remaining payment paid by cash on arrival (on 22/10/2018) at Shimla hotel Gulmarg. Which is already mentioned on attached confirmation Slip.But on 21/10/2018 called me Mr. Naveen Paul (Founder of this company) and threat me with lots of slang language, that I have to pay 100000/- at Kalka Railway Station on early morning (22/10/2018) and remaining at Shimla on arrival, otherwise they will not responsible for the entire booking and cancel the whole trip. When I try to convince him that we will pay the total dues at Shimla on arrival then he used some slang language and tell me we have to pay 60000/- at Kalka and remaining at Shimla. After reach at Kalka Railway Station we collect 60000/- from our co-traveler and handed over the payment to Mr. Deepak Thakur (HPTOUR representative).2. As per our conversation on Kolkata Office, they had confirm 12 rooms and 1 complementary room (12+1) at Shimla, Sarahan, Sangla & Kalpa and 9 rooms and 1 complementary room (9+1) at Rampur Which is already mentioned on attached confirmation Slip. But each and every day we suffer for the room.In Sarahan they provide 12 rooms at very darty and smelly hotel and refuse for complementary room. After contact with Mr. Deepak Thakur (HPTOUR representative) regarding that and then they gave us the room.In Sangla they provide 12 rooms. Hotel was in good location and room was quite good. But when we contact with Mr. Deepak Thakur (HPTOUR representative) regarding the complementary room they smartly refuse and ultimate we had adjust with 12 rooms.In Kalpa they provide 9 rooms. Hotel was quite good. But when we contact with Mr. Deepak Thakur (HPTOUR representative) regarding the complementary room they smartly refuse and ultimate we had adjust with 9 rooms. They adjust this with 2 rooms in Shimla at same day.In Rampur they provide 9 rooms. Hotel was so so. But when we contact with Mr. Deepak Thakur (HPTOUR representative) regarding the complementary room they smartly refuse and ultimate we had adjust with 9 rooms.3. As per our knowledge all travel agent arrange pickup & drop from and to Kalka or Chandigarh with same price. But due to train problem we was dropped at Chandigarh with additional 4000/- charge for 2 cars.As per my experience, they are very rude, unprofessional, violent, and ultimately Mr. Navven Paul is a very gentle person and he know very well how to behave rudely and use slang language with his valuable customer.I am requesting all travelers book your vacation with this travel agent very carefully. They dont actually deserve any Stars.... Naveen paul, Prashant Nandi and Deepa bannerjee all are cheats and frauds. Cooperation becomes null post booking and payment. The cheap rates are bait for roping in money without any tangibility. They show one hotel and keep in another. Phone calls dont exist in their dictionary and in turn they are easily irritated. To the people who value their hard earned money, dont go with them and avoid their cheap-tourism bait. This is an entirely private organisation run by cheaters . Their entire temperament changes as the tour progresses.
