IT ALSO HOUSES A SMALL LIBRARY AS WELL.It offers a patient family member stay in facility for patients inflicted with Cancer.Since 2015 October GANDHI SEGA SANGHA HAS ADDED A MULTI SPECIALITY HOSPITAL BUILDING IN ITS CAMPUS.THE OUT PATIENT DEPARTMENT HAS BEEN FUCTIONAL SINCE OVER A YEAR. WITH ACTIVE INITIATIVE OF OUR MLA SHRI SUJIT BOSE THE HOSPITAL WOULD BECOME FULLY OPERATIONAL VERY SOON. ONCE THIS HOSPITAL FACILITY STARTS FULL FLEDGED IT WOULD OFFER QUALITY HEALTH SERVICES TO THE COMMON PEOPLE OF THE AREA .THE ANNUAL DURGA PUJA IS ALSO A GREAT AFFAIR which is organised by the members of the organisation. Apart from this cultural events are organised round the year.

Its a place where patients specially cancer patients are provided accomodation with same love and affection irrespective of caste creed or culture giving the best example of Gandhijis teachings. I really appreciate the services provided by the Sanghas coordinators. Its also the best example of Indias oneness. I am proud to be a resident of West Bengal. Aamar Sonar Bangla.

There used to be a hospital which was very helpful

Its a local social organisation which runs various social works including a school. Though the school is not known for any academic excellence, but the effort is surely laudable. There is a hospital also which offers basic medical facilities. There is a library and a small AC auditorium. The auditorium is rented to various local cultural groups. There are also coaching facilities for yoga, music, drawing and other co curricular activities, available against nominal charges.

Pretty old this club, most probably laid its foundation before our Independance. It is a famous one in the adjacent area. It runs schools also. It has a good library. It has a exhibition gallery cum auditorium. Maanikya Mancha is the name of the auditorium. It is fully airconditioned and of low rental

Gandhi Seva Sangha Shreebhumi is getting more improved day by day. Ac is installed, renovation is continuing to give more good look. This place is very favourite for me because here I go for rehearsal. I am in a group theatre called East Kolkata Cultural Organisation. Here we have Manikko Mancho where, I have performed on stage many times.

Gandhi Seva Sangha is situated in lake town just ahead of Daffodil Nursing home. The Sangha runs a hospital and also have a school up to class 10. They help the poor and distress people to get education, medical aid and computer education.

The main builfing comprises of two parts. It has a library which remains open seven days a week and there is an auditorium where cultural programs can be organised. Permanent seating is not available, plastic chairs are used though.

This is an NGO doing lots of social work for the needy.

One 100 bedded hospital is coming up with the active initative of Gandhi Seva Sangha. A small scale OPD has been inaugurated on 24th May 2015 and is fully operational since 1st June. This initiative of providing medical treatment facility at affordable cost is commendable. Eleven new rooms for Cancer patients has been constructed and the rooms are expected to be fully ready to accommodate Cancer patients who come to different hospitals in Kolkata, for treatment.
