The Director Mr. Surendranath is very rough and tough teacher. Behaviour very bad with student. He is not a perfect teacher for learning any music related course. I think he have some mental problem.

My daughter is learning Bollywood vocal, 4 class weekly on Sunday only, and today(3/11/19)after class I came to know that they will wont be able to take a class on 10/11/2019 because they have already given 5 sunday class on September and they say there are allowed to take only 4 Sunday class, if 5 Sunday comes in a month than what can we do,I think you have forgotten that you take fees for per month, right. My daughter also goes to abacus and twist and turn but I never seen or heard this type of word , and if teacher are absent they dont give extra class. But I think I will appreciate that teacher are good in teaching.

I am learning guitar from Sir Sumanta at AMEC since last one month. I love my class and I am happy with my class. I have some difficulty in keeping beats but my sir is guiding me to overcome the weakness.I find my teacher and everyone here very friendly and helpful.

My daughter learns violin here for last 8months and I am not at all satisfied with the teacher. They takes lots of money as monthly fees but dont follow proper class timing and will never compensate if the teacher cancels the class for any reason while each class costs you Rs 300

Mr Surendranath Majumdar is my teacher for piano and keyboards. He has an amazing music sense and has helped me a lot in my journey into this vast world of music. Under him, Ive passed all my exams with distinction and even won the second prize for both keyboards and piano in Yuva Music Festival 2018. He is a great inspiration for me and one of my role models. He is an amazing speaker and motivates me many times when I am ready to give up not only in music, but in any other field of life.I love going to AMEC and stay there sometimes for many hours. Its like a family which is not bound by DNA and genetics but with music. The experience here is great and we are able to play with other musicians playing different instruments. After we enrolled our 6 year old girl in this place for keyboard lessons, my wife was bothered that the so called director Surendranath Majumdar instructs kids behind closed (locked) door that can only be opened from inside. This was under the pretense that it gets noisy and thats why the instructor prefers to sit in a locked room. My wife felt extremely uncomfortable leaving our baby girl with the instructor. No monster has a label written on his face that hes a monster. They refused to either let the mother sit inside with the child. They even refused keep the door shut in an unlocked position. As a parent Id never be comfortable with such policy no matter how good the instructor is. Beware! We sleep at peace knowing that my child is safe and learning music elsewhere with better policies.Majumdar suggested that he will either instruct the child behind locked closed door or we could withdraw the child. Majumdar didnt even care to appease my wifes concerns which was very unsettling to us. The guy in the front desk was also rude and they refused to refund even the security money. So we ended up paying about 5000 rupees for one session. Its not about the money though. Please beware and demand that the male instructor absolutely cannot be behind locked door with little child.Keep your child safe !Lot of fake reviews. You can read the reviews and judge for yourself as to how genuine they are. The Majumdar guy doesn’t even talk to any parent. Look at reviewer’s profiles who have rated this place highly and especially the ones that have essay type reviews on how good this guys is.

A fantastic music school with very transparent systems. I appreciate the atmosphere where all teachers are friendly yet they impart and install love for music.AMEC is like a family for me. I find children may be two three years of age coming crying but leave with a smile.I saw autistic children learning and teachers are so polite and quite.I get a chance to play in concerts and some students get big platforms too.Ruchika maam and SNM sir are superb who are a constant source of inspiration. The staffs are too kind and helpful. I am happy with everything AMEC provides and the fees is very reasonable as we get a lot more than we give.
