Went for the Durga Puja Special Lunch Buffet spread here. It was very nice and coupled with the ambience, the staffs, the food quality and variety, it was worth the visit. Definitely going to recommend this place to my friends and family!Being a foodie and someone who has been to a lot of places around the city, I found Zahtar to be a very lovely and worthy place.

Didnt expected such great food but Zahtar made the visit worthwhile specially after the long lockdown. The ambiance of this place located inside The Maureen is just beautiful.Although service was awful but not in the sense of behavior of the staffs. They took almost 1 hr 10 min to serve the food on table. That was really frustrating. I highly recommend this place, they just need to quick up the service a bit.

Located near baguiati Big bazaar, this is a hidden gem for sure. With lovely ambiance and amazing food this has to be your go-to place to relax your dear ones-friends or family.We had ordered quite a few items but I would really recommend the drums of hell. It was very tasty and full of flavours, my personal favourite. If you prefer spicy food then its a must try. Fried rice and chicken was also very well cooked and tasted really great. Zahtar is located in the first floor of The Maureen Hotel. The decor of the restaurant is elegant no doubt. Perfect for family dinner or dates even. I have visited this place a couple of times and I wasnt disappointed.What I tried,🔸 Galauti Kebab🔹 Hyderabadi Gosht Dum Biryani🔸 Chicken Chaap🔹 Chicken Tangdi KebabI love Tangdi kebab and Zahtars tangdi was fabulous. The tangdi was well cooked and well seasoned. The biryani was light but flavourful and went with the Chicken Chaap beautifully. The Galauti Kebab were good too. Finished off my meal with Gulab Jamuns, and those were amazing too!✨

Let me introduce to you the newly, renovated and more upscale Zahtar which not only gives you a perfect fine dining experience but also pleases your taste budes with the variety of foods it has to offer.This is probably the only restaurant in the area which serves awadhi food along with drinks and cocktails.Location- Its on the first floor of the Hotel Maureen ( If you travel towards airport from Baguiati, it will be to your left,just after Chowman).Decor- One word, Splendid. The docor gives you that extravagant feel. Its bright and the seating area can accommodate a comfortable 40-50 people. If you are lucky,you might get the lovely 2 seater which has the view of busy city on one side.Drinks:Beach Party Liit- This is a 500 ml cocktail which has a taste pretty much every liquor in the house.It has Vodka,white rum,Gin,Tequila and Cointrue.Strawberry Diqury- Probably the best we had in the night. Simple base of Bacardi White and a flavour of Strawberry and a taste that you dont forget.Sunami- A mix of cranberry, vodka, whiskey, tequila and white rum. The presentation was nice but tasted average.Food:Panner Dil Bahara- A nice veg starter with a piece of panner topped with sattu and cheese.Veg Akbari Sheek Kebab- These were like a baked pastry with a stuffing of potato. Tasted amazing and best part it looked superb.Galouti Kebab- Oh my god.!!! They were just awesome. They were tender soft and had that perfect blend of spices (Highly recommend).Samandar ka Khazana - Just as the name suggests, these were truely the hidden treasure of sea.The platter had tandoori prawn and a boneless ajwani fish. The prawn was just awesome and what to say about the fish, they just melted in your mouth.Now after the amazing starters we were left with very little space for main course, hence we triedKachi Gosth ki Biryani- I wont say the best biryani in town but yes a biryani worth eating. Served in Handi, it had 2 Big pieces of Mutton/Chicken and a kachi biryani which was not dry and can be consumed without any gravy.Murg Kumb ki Tari- I have never tried a awadhi chicken gravy with capsicum and mushrooms.Even the chicken had a stuffing of capsicum. But the gravy is too good to die for. A perfect combo with Butter Naan/Naan.Overall a amazing place for dinein with your special one or your family in the Baguiati region.Please give it a shot and i am sure you wont regret it.

It is an all day dining of a business hotel close to the airport making it a sought after place for travellers. The menu holds quite strong and has flavours from around the world to entice you from Chinese to continental and Italian to North Indian kebabs and local Bengali cuisine. The taste of the food somewhat falls flat in most areas. It is of average quality and somewhat rich and spicy. However, the kababs are highly recommended.From the main course you may try Hyderabadi Gosht Dum Biryani and Awadhi Murgh Biryani along with Awadhi Murgh Chaap.Dessert: Hot Gulab Jamun, must try!

Recently visited this restaurant which is inside The Maureen Hotel, opposite to Big Bazar, baguiati. Its a fine dine place which is quite spacious and the ambience is pretty good for having dinner dates!Now coming to the food we had, we basically took awadhi / indian cuisines along with Red Wine.•Murgh Tangri Kebab: The chicken legs were damn tender and delicious. I loved them, the Kebabs literally tasted so good. You can surely order this one.• Galouti Kebab: This was another must have from this place. I had such amazing galoutis after ages. Perfect taste and scent made it so delicious!•Hyderabadi Gosht Biryani.•Awadhi Chaap: The chaap tasted good buttasted a bit different from normal chicken chaaps but it complemented the biryani as the Biryani was a bit lighter as compared to basic Kolkata style biryani.And then we ended our meal with some hot gulabjamun.Overall experience was good.

Super taste with proper price

On Durga Puja special Zahtar,The Maureen, has arranged special buffet lunch from Saptami to Dashami.We went there for Navami special buffet lunch..It was more than 60+menu..we couldnt even taste all of them..bt,all the food really tastes well..specially then main course..starters were a bit avarage except fish kabiraji..but,in main course all the items were awesome..and last but not the least the staffs were so polite and helpful that nobody could blame on them for any smaller reasons..we would love to go Zahtar,The Maureen, again and again..thank you Zahtar,thank you The Maureen to make our mahanavamipuja very special..

This is luxurious dinning situated close to the Dumdum airport. They mostly serve mughlai and awadhi food. Food is quite great here. Quantity is satisfying as well. I was there to try their Candlelight Christmas Buffet. Started off with cranberry fizz Mocktail. Then i had the Crispy chicken, Tengdi kebab and Galouti kebab. In main course there was Awadhi biryani and awadhi chicken chaap. Dessert was good in gulab jamun.We were aslo served beer and red wine.Food was delectable and the staffs were also very courteous.

Pathetic Service . Do not dare step in this restaurant andkeep waiting forever to get your food delivered. 1.5 hours and nothing is served on the table ! No body is here to take the ownership instead they send new staff to attend us !!!!! I would not recommend it at any cost !!!!
