But if you consider yourself a foodie, you MUST try this place out.I went for the a la carte menu so that I could sample both the western and eastern cooking.The Ralway Chicken curry and Mutton curry from the Anglo Indian Menu was superb. Delicious but not greasy at all. My stomach did not complain about digesting them.I then had the New Zealand Lamb rack and it was excellent. I have had much expensive versions of this dish in the US but those experiences were a tight slap to the money I paid for them. Even if you think having typical Indian food at a an upscale is asking too much, at the very least, try out the lamb rack.For dessert , I had the creme caramel and the ice cream sandwich

ThreeSixtyThree° at The Oberoi Grand is probably the best buffet experience you can have in Kolkata. Sitting in any table you have a wonderful view of the garden and the pool . Their Restaurant team is one of the best in class , they genuinely care about your experience .The dishes ranged from bread and salad to sushi , roasted pork belly, various Indian dishes. I’m certainly not exaggerating but each and every dishes were top notch. They offer cuisines like French , Chinese, Japanese, Thai , Indian etc . I’m gonna definitely remember their dishes like roasted pork belly, mushroom sushi , Lamb soup , French Benedict, phyllo pastry and the Chai Tea cream brûlée ( the after taste was astonishing ) . Dessert section had gulab jamun , baked Sandesh , rosh malai , waffle, icecream and various complex desserts too . Biryani , chicken curry , Galouti and bhetki preparation had a warmth of homemade food .As we opted for brunch buffet with alcohol , I choose sparkling wine and red wine to go with all those dishes I tried . Couldnt resist the fifth star.If going just for food, skip it. Its good, but not worth it for food alone.Hospitality is top notch as expected from Oberoi.Must have experience.To add to it, the Ningchow Pork with Bamboo Shoots was the most tender Pork Ive ever had anywhere.

Tried the buffet and believe me they had an extravagant menu..From starters, to main course to desserts, everything was so delicious.Paired with the ambience, it became the best place to celebrate my bday.

Food platters are good.They have wide variety of salads.Their desserts are awesome.Had their veg sushis which were quite tasty.They had prepared orange and coffee cake which was really great.Ambience is worth mentioning.Their vintage touch to the ambience is something I have not seen in many places.The entire experience was awesome.

Fell in love with the mothers day buffet spread. Oberoi Grand has been an old family favorite. But the new look of the coffee shop is so young and vibrant. Loved all the food, the choices and the finesse. The staff was very warm and they neatness and perfection was amazing.Kudos!

We had been here with my friends for a buffet lunch at this restaurant. A heritage property of Indian hotels the grand Oberoi Kolkata. The lunch was really awesome and prices are reasonable. There was a wide selection of starter, main course and desert. The main course one can have Indian with some Bengali dishes, Asian and western choices. The staff are quite friendly and helpful. The desert was also of good quality and wide varieties.

The buffet lunch is awesome 👌 as in taste & it is crafted lovely with Indian to European to American. From starter to desert all are going awesome. Few are fixed but they changes day wise. Price also not too high as per other restaurants & it is ₹1400+GST. Also, have to mention about all the restaurant chefs & attendances who are always happy to help you with big smile on face & never feel tired to explain about any food or guide you to choose any menu with their best knowledge. We went for the Sunday brunch, which was value for.money. Quite a large spread to choose from. I mainly had Western dishes. The restaurant manager and the executive sous chef came up and had a chat with me, which was nice of them. I missed my steak, though!

Went for the dinner buffet. The menu was good however, the food was bland for my Indian tongue, as the food is made keeping in mind the foreigner guests. But the place had a mood of its own. Royal interiors, best of the human resources. Special mention of Arindam, he made sure I am happy since the time I entered to the time I left. There was a gulab jamun pudding on the dessert menu which was marvelous. I ended up having multiple servings of the same.

Was a complimentary treat. People say that Grand Hotel has lost its previous charm but I kinda liked it still. At least from the food perspective. Service is very bad though.It took us 15 minutes to place the order after having called for the staff 4-5 times. Do note that the restaurant was not crowded. Had ordered for a Sweet Lime soda. Even after asking for a straw three times, it never came.We had Hara bhara kababs, galouti kabab and Lehsuni Mahi Tikka to start with. The items were delicious but the serving portions were quite less.Under the main course we had Lamb Biryani and Butter Chicken. Tasted awesome again. One biryani is enough to stuff two-three people. Dont try to have it alone like I did. Was too full to order desserts hence.The food is great. The service is not up to the mark. The staff members are very friendly and courteous but too slow on their feet.

This is something extra ordinary .....Beyond imaginationThe place will give u a royal feeling ....its like amazing to sit and enjoy ur meal thereThe food is yumm...i was lucky enough to visit it on d day it had its 1st anniversary ....and try there famous sushi ....and let me tell u people it is worth trying ...The staff is very friendly ....they r always there to help u and share there experience with u ....Always heard about and had black forest cake and pastry ....but they have come up with blackforest ice cream .....its one of a kind ....nd only available at this place....i would just come here again and again for the desserts they have....each and every dessert has something called the X factor......The cake they had isss such a soft one.....that it will melt a far earlier than u think to have a bite at it....Tried the mushroom soup for the first time....it was good....the starters.....the variety of their main course everything just amazing...i am giving 0.5 extra only for the hospitality....what a hospitality....foods were very nice..ambiance was superb...but the caring of the authorities were mind blowing...it was our ANNIVERSARY....we treated as a special gesture...care all the time...at last they gave us a nice cake and two cup of coffee...and pleased us so well....recommending every one to go there at least once....good luck
