Food tastes very good indeed. Make sure to ask for the sushi menu, which is different from the food and drinks menu. They offer veg and non veg varieties in sushi. It is a must to try it out, when visiting here.

Loved going here with my family when it opened because the food was absolutely amazing and the decor too. Visited again after ages and theyve changed the middle blue section (which used to be my fav!) and its now the bar area, but still equally beautiful. Loved it then. Love it now.

The Wall lives up to the hype. I had only appetizers, cocktails, and a dessert. Everything was tasty. I could tell they never compromise on the quality of ingredients. I was also impressed by the bright decor and the courteous staff. Notwithstanding, I think there is room for improvement in a few areas, slow service being one of those. This place is good for two or more people; I wouldnt recommend it to people who prefer eating alone (like myself).

I have been there for third time I think. I will always suggest one to visit that restaurant and try the foods.

Cannot provide overall picture as was there as a part of eating my way through all the sushi Kolkata has to offer. But the sushi was good. We had the moirawase( sushi boat) and sashimi platter.Not exceptional( who am I to talk of exceptional, sitting in Kolkata after all). And the sashimi was great too. Great for taking that sushi leap.

Visited The Wall for a Saturday lunch. We opted for the non-veg buffet.Starting off, the ambience is quite nice with dim lights. The service is quite good.They had 3 salads, 4 starters, rice, noodles, 4 main course items and vanilla ice cream with darsan and chocolate brownie.The price couldve been a bit lower instead of ₹820 with GST. But overall, 5 out of 5 for the excellent service, and amazing quality of food. I will definitely try their a-la-carte menu in the future.

I have been a very old customer of The Wall and my dad has been an acquaintance of Mr. Palit, the owner of the group. Their quality has always been good, but recently they have completely degraded and deteriorated in terms of quantity and price. I ordered some food today. They charged hefty sum of money for the food. They charged 465 rupees for a chicken teriyaki and the total portion was not even enough for one. I am sorry to say, but the entire weight of the dish did not cross 250 gms. When questioned the manager said, that it is the standard portion size, and if I was not satisfied, he asked me to wait for 2 minutes and he would just add on some portions, as if I was a beggar.I hereby, am never coming back to this restaurant and would make sure my friends and family also do not come here. For others reading this review, I request the same to you. The rest I leave up to your wise discretion. Please refrain from dining here, if you value for money.

The value of money was unparalleled although the ambience needs some improving. Also, you need more washrooms. The sushi boat was subpar and the buffet was a good surprise.

Lat me kai was the only disappointment. Everything else from the ambience to the food to the behavior of the staff was very good.I loved the golden fried prawns. Nasi goreng and pan fried noodles were very good. The prawn gravy and Japanese mild spicy chicken with sriracha sauce was excellent.

One of the best Pan Asian fine dining options in South Kolkata. Loved the ambience and their attitude. Very helpful for family with kids. You must try all their rice options. They are most affordable mid range option in this category, you would be satisfied with the quantity they serve.

Excellent food! Fantastic ambience! But most importantly, extremely helpful stuff members who are willing to go that extra mile.I went there with my two children and our car had a break down just when we were getting back. Security gaurd was empathic to allow me to keep the car there. Mollick, another staff member helped me book the Ola service, but most importantly, Pradip actually managed to restart my car to my utmost relief. The manager, Soumitra, was courteous enough to check for my safe return home. I felt it was an incredible team who were more than willing to help in every possible way. It was a customer delight. A great place. The weekday buffet is for 350+tax. The food is really good. The spread is slightly less compared to other places but whatever they serve is very tasty. We ordered The Sushi Boat. My elder daughter and husband loved it. We had vidited in 2019 and this was better than our previous experience. They felt it was phenomenal. My younger daughter snd I had 10 vegetable noodles with a chicken side dish. This too was real good. The ambience was great. Not so crowded and a background violin instrumental created a time to relax, to enjoy and relish the experience after months of lockdowns and pandemics. How we missed our resturant visits! A place to eat, a place to take photographs, a place to deck up, a place to relax and a place for family time!

We went for the weekday lunch buffet. They offer starters on the table along with soup on the table. The mains can be taken from the buffet. They offer a choice of noodles, rice, chicken, potatoes, vegetables and fish. For desserts you can choose from chocolate, vanilla and strawberry ice-cream, darsaan and brownies. They usually have a staff who will help you scooping the ice-cream. Overall, a good meal for Rs. 375+ taxes on a weekday. Do pay a visit.

Wonderful place in south Kolkata for chinese food. Almost every dish that I tasted was good. Very well behaved staff. Nice ambiance. They offer Valet parking as well.

The buffet is a joke at 530. Food is cold, slow in service, etc. I am short of words about how bad of an experience I had. I would suggest visiting the place once to understand why its so bad. Even the desert. I have never been this disappointed.

Well a Big one ticked off from my list on the day of Bengali new year.we went there to celebrate 2 occasion.one was my 20 years(2 Decades) of friendship with my school friends & the other was Poila boishak.I had booked the table for 3 two days before through Zomato itself.But there was a let down from Zomato,which is they didnt mentioned about any Discount I was elligible to, although I was.Anyways Coming to the ambience We are greeted by a statute of lord Buddha, getting Inside first thing we would notice is the Buffet area with some designed cloches,also a sleeping buddha near the window.the place is decoreted with red shandeliers giving a touch of that Asian feel,also the background Japanese music was an add on.So a huge 4 out of 5.We had planned for their steam boat and the non veg Sushi boat,but the manager informed us we wont be getting the discount of 15% on the steam boat.still we opted the same.The concept of the Steam boat is simple you get all the ingredients.we only choose the soup between Tom yum or Chinese clear soup.Its a live Preparation in front of the customer.So coming to the food.They provided us with kimchi salad & fresh cured salads.The Sushi boat consisted of 11 pieces of sushi.4 veg 6 non veg.2 of each salmon,prawn,crabstick.they were accompanied by pickled ginger and a green paste ball wich was very pungent like mustard.each of them were really yummy.next we had the steam boat ready by the time they had a arrey of ingredients to go into the soup starting from baby corn, mushrooms,to lamb,chicken,pork.It was a big thumbs up.we also had fresh lime.in dessert we had Hazel nut sunday & star anise apple pie with vanilla ice cream.yet again the pie was a hit with loads of raisins and nuts.So a 5 out of 5.Service was also prompt with friendly suggestions.so a 4 out of 5.Bit high on the price but its a must try.Hope to visit soon.

Went with great expectations, but found ut not satisfactory. Opted for weekdays buffet. For soup they had Chicken lung Fung soup, it had not chicken pieces. In starters they had Chicken Drums of Heaven, it tasted best among the buffet items, chicken dimsums were good in taste, but most if the time they were not available at the counter, and in veg they had deep fried corn curd and onion pan cakes, both were average. In main course they had Noodles, which tasted worst, it had just no taste at all, and totally cold, then Egg fried rice, which was again cold. They they had veg Manchurian, it was okay, cauliflower item was okay, nothing great, then hupak chicken, which gain had no taste, just totally tasteless, then Fish garlic sauce was good in taste.In desserts they provided Plum cake, which was of great taste, darshan, as usual, and three types ice Creams, chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry, tasted good but it was already melted.We had to wait for 15 minutes for the the Drums of Heaven to refill at the counter, they do not like to refill the items at the buffet counter.And most importantly they gave the bill even before we started our desserts, it was not expected. It was a one time experience, nit not like to visit again.

Unfortunately my first visit was not at all good...We ordered drums of heavenPrawn in bulgogi sauceTai kai sheChahan...Drums of heaven was crispy fried style tossed with onion and black pepper...We didnt like the taste at all.....What was astonished is that the oil they used for frying was probably used and after eating the same, we all have abdominal bloating...Bulgogi sauce is nothing but barbeque sauce...but the item was not that yammy and after few bites we lost the interest...Chahan is a Japanese sticky rice, but again the oil used here is not upto the mark...And its a typical Chinese restaurant with very few thai and japanese dishes...However the quantity per serving was much adequate and one particular side dish can serve 3to4 persons....If i visit again in near future, hope i will have some better experience with the taste...

In the lane it will be of your left hand side.A beautiful place. Nice and cozy a bit over crowded at times due to its small stature but the quality of the food and pocket friendly nature of the restaurant answers for that. The staffs are well mannered and the place has nice soothing lighting. Overall a magnificent place to visit.

The experience wasnt totally perfect at the beginning. We had to wait for more than half n hour for the starter. The waiters kept our orders and didnt even communicate the same to the kitchen. But the manager stood up and the day was saved.It was my parents anniversary and I wanted to make it special in every way. The manager took full responsibility for the incident and abided by his promises with some amazing improvisations.As starter, we had ordered Pan Fried Grilled Chilli Fish. In main course, there was mixed fried rice, mixed noodles, and hong kong lamb (cannot remember the exact name right now.) Undoubtedly, the food was amazing.As I was unable to arrange a cake (yes, if you consult the restaurant about your occasion, they would permit), the manager himself arranged two brownies with ice cream (complimentary) to spice up the celebration. Im thankful to him for standing up, taking full responsibility, and finally make the evening memorable.Their food is highly recommendable, but the service is indeed delayed. So, if you have time and if you can wait without getting enraged unlike me, The Wall is always a good and pocket-friendly option.

It was a treat from big bro, a surprise venue. I personally enjoyed the starters (idk the names but ordered a pork dish which was awesome, a prawn dish which was so delicious that I could have more and one chicken dish which was too good)very well but the mixed fried rice in main course had a raw smell of prawn which was wierd and I also believe the fish in black bean sauce s taste could be enhanced. We also had a choco sundae which was cool. Oh ,I forgot to mention the lemonade with a cherry we had in the very beginning. P.s. overlook the forgetting the menu names! 🙂😎

It is an old favorite. Good food, offer on drinks and good ambiance. No waiting time on most days was another plus.However, currently they are having a truncated menu and no offer on drinks.All in all, still a favorite!!!

We are very old customers.Ordered and had some great dishes today, as usual. We had ordered duck in plum sauce. Later when we looked at the bill closely, we found we were billed for Peking duck, which we didnt order. We paid more. Its mistake on our part not to have checked it there. But Wall needs to be careful. This happened for the first time. We will be cautious next time.
