Wonderful ambience. The location is quite serene just beside the waterbodies inside the Godrej Waterside.We took Mysore masala dosa, Crunchy rava dosa, Vada, Idli and hot chocolate with ice cream. All items were quite nice. Only improvement needed on the Idli - which was quite dry

Sankalp Kolkata has their wide range of instant mixes for delicious south Indian food. Starting from Idli to dosa to upma, sambhar and so on. Everything is so easy to cook takes hardly a few minutes and the taste is amazing. My favourite has to be the somber mix and I love the dosa batter, when cooked, it was extremely Crisp and delicious.

Good food in line with your expected quality from Sankalp. I have visited Sankalp in many cities including their best in Gandhinagar Gujarat and worst in Ghatkopar - Mumbai - which is luckily already closed. Hope, they would serve good coffee to match the quality of South Indian food. Sankalp filter coffee is really bad ! No where close to their South Indian food. Having said that - I would not miss a next chance to visit Sankalp in the city I am visiting !!

Now they are not serving the Doaha as they was served. at 10 Sep 21 i went with my friends and it was worst experience...............# No Salt in# chutney was test less with the lots of water only# Drink was test Less and only with soda test# They stop giving the finger bowlThe street Dosha is have better than there Dosha:)

Sankalp is located at the Godrej building near college more , saltlake. We were 4 people so we at first opted for their dosa challenge in which they are giving a 4feet dosa if you able to finish it with its filling and sambar within 90 seconds ; it will be free of cost. If you failed to do so then also they are giving a 33% discount.The dosa was crisp, soft and very tasty. Chutneys were extremely pleasant, spiced and tangy, perfect for accompanying, but the best was the sambar it was one of the best I ever tried. Other than that we tried pongal unlimited thali which consists of rice, rassam, sambhar, poori, appal papad etc and tastes really good. Price of the thali is 299/- which is very reasonable.

Loved this south Indian restaurant. The ambience is nicely set up. They provide a large variety of chutneys. White, green, red, dark maroon chutneys with good in taste sambhar. The staffs are very much friendly. Located near the college more crossing. Just beside the raise the bar Gastropub. At ground floor. Very much easy to locate.The menu consists of different varieties of dosa idli uttpam. Including 6 feet long paper dosa. The biggest dosa they make. They have got innumerable number of awards from various megazines and newspapers. Must try this place. Plus its very pocket friendly.

This place is located in sector five and in the same building where you have raise the bar. There is paid parking at rs. 35 per hour.Its mainly a South Indian restaurant with lots of variations in idlies and dosas however the overall food served was very disappointing. They first need to get their basics of idlies and dosas correct. The vada was drenched in oil. Although the upma and buttermilk was good. Too noisy as it was a Sunday and less staff to handle the pressure. It could be seen on their faces.All in all nothing exciting about this place.

Third grade environment in the restaurant. I have visited this restaurant twice. During covid times, people are supposed to feel that the restaurant is safe and hygienic. This restaurant’s food is nice but the hygiene level during covid times is really bad. There were like 10-15 flies all over the food. When complained about, they turned a portable standing fan towards the table. Its a very nicely priced fine dine south indian restaurant with 0 hygiene. After this visit, i wont suggest this restaurant atleast during covid times.

The menu choices are different and food tastes good. The staffs are very humble. One item was served with not up-to the mark taste, they made my next order complimentary. Really nice gesture from them.

I was in Ahmedabad, Gujarat when I first had food from Sankalp. Its a very big chain in Western India. Im very happy to see Sankalp in Kolkata, seeing the menu and and taste are exact same.
