Located at New Alipore just behind Suruchi Sangha. They serve authentic Chinese so those who love old school Chinese and not Desi can pay a visit at this restaurant. Owner is very humble and the behavior of the staff is equally good. The quantity and the quality of the food is just above average. We ordered Mix Fried Rice(1) and Chicken Manchurian(1) which is good enough for two people. The food was served quite hot and they are maintaining the hygiene standard as well. Pocket pinch would be around 500INR (for two people).

One of the worst chinese restaurant. You order something and they send you something else. And then their big arrogant egoistic owner, so called, Peter, will blame you only and say eat it or throw it away, he dsnr care.I waw given non veg rice and non noodles when had cleaely ordered vegetarian. On calling, he shouted at me only. When Ibshouted back and proved his mistake, he said no refund or reorder of food. Wat or throw it away. Eventually gave it to dogs to eat.Also, the taste is no better than a road side chinese stall.Try a chinese stall near triangular park, new alipore for even tastier and much better hospitality.

Ive never dined in this restaurant, as I live outside Kolkata. But coming back to town after years, I was craving good Chinese. I was suggested Kowloon. I placed an order for home delivery. A mixed noodles and garlic chicken. It was fantastic. But the next time was the horror. Ordered only appetizers. Fried Prawn Balls, Momos, Wontons. To my utter shock not just one item, but all of them had tiny cockroaches in them, not just in one piece, but multiple Momos and fried balls were filled with tiny cockroaches. I live for food, and good Chinese is bliss but this is unacceptable. I dont want to cloud anyones judgement and i also know that this place might be the favourite go to place for many, but insects in food really speaks loads about the hygiene of the place and I thought I should share this with people as it may save someone from a very bad food poisoining

I went around 3:30pm. The place was empty and quiet. The service was fast and accurate. Ordered for roasted pork and pork chow, one each, it was enough for two, very well cooked and delicious food.. no hassle with billing. Even allowed me to charge my phone.

Service was really quick. It was 3:45pm and we were super hungry, we ordered one egg noodles and hot garlic. Both the dishes were sufficient for sharing with 2people. Taste was also good. And the quality quantity combination worked here. Price was 145/- for the noodles and 190/- for hot garlic (8pieces). I was satisfied and thanked them for their quick satisfactory service. But the ambience could be better. The lighting could be better. And the sitting the chairs were not that comfortable but yeah we were able to seat though. Anyway superb chinese options are available. This Chinese restaurant was superb once upon a time. But now their quality has been degraded. Still I must say they are better than any ordinary Chinese restaurant growing here n there now a days. Hope they will improve their food quality.

Kowloon is one of those small joints in Alipore, which serves Chinese food. We had placed an order for Crispy Chilli Baby corn, Scheswan Rice and Noodles. The quantity was sufficient, but the food was very greasy and rich. This is the perfect place if looking for quick food, as our order had hardly taken 15 mins to be cooked. Their prompt service and pocket-friendly prices were amusing otherwise; the food’s quality had disappointed us.

It has a good variety. Restroom available. The ambience is a bit dull & outdated & the food is just satisfactory as compared to the price. The pork items are the ones that should be tried. Pork cutlet and pork pakoraare a must try at kolwloon.

Run by a very rude chinese old man and his wife, this place doesnt seem to have much visitors these days as the emptiness of this place on a saturday night stares you in the face. And i might know why.Kowloon looks like chairs and tables were setup inside an abandoned building. The place is dimly lit, if the blackened walls could talk they would beg for a fresh coat of paint and the bathroom is dark and dirty. All this while a pissed Chinese man is screaming at you when asked to clarify the gst in the bill aankh hai toh thik se dekho na!...says the annoyed man.I feel sorry for kowloon now as i remember my parents used to take me here as a child and i used to love the food here. Sadly all that is left now is an empty shell of what it used to be. I had the sorriest plate of chilly babycorn here...and possibly the last.
