Hygienic but expensive (items are not value for money)

Probably one of the best canteens you can find across colleges in Kolkata. The menu keeps changing depending on the day of the week, the occasion or the availability of raw produce which adds a lot to the variety and also ensures that the food that is served is fresh and not from previous days leftovers. There are separate stations for meals, snacks, beverages, etc. The tables are cleaned throughout the day so hygiene is taken care of. Soon you can also order your food online through an app which would also allow you to keep track of your expenses on food in the canteen on daily basis and maintain an e-wallet for transactions to be made in this canteen itself.

Heritage has 3-4 canteens in total.The canteen adjacent to Heritage College sells fast food mainly (ranging from pizzas and pastries and burgers to Maggi Cuppa Noodles). I have attached this canteens photos to this rebiew.If you want a better experience, go to the canteen nearby Gate No. 5 of The Heritage campus. Here many food items, like kackori, dosa, etc., are freshly cooked just before serving in front of u.Both vegetarian food and non-vegetarian food is served here.

It is restricted to the campus only. It has a lot of options, but recently it has much less option due to following COVID norms. Hopefully it will catch up soon.

Good and affordable

For a middle class student .. prices are quite high.. but food quality is really good.. any type of food is available here.. all you have to do is.. buy coupon and get your food. But there is not much sitting arrangements available..

A bit cozy place as its college canteen. The quality of the food is some how good. They try to maintain and clean the place regularly. People there are good. Taste is also good. You can go there for quick bites. You can get all kinds of food. The chicken is not halla.

It is one the best college canteen i have been to. It is clean. The seating capacity is less but the number of tables suffice the crowd problem. I would be giving 4 on 5 because of the cost of a particular items greater than expectations. The staffs are friendly and the food is really good.

Heritage college canteen is a decent one where u can have almost every thing in a reasonable price. They have their everyday special items. And big canteen area makes it more awesome. Talking about food, it is also nice u will not regret on spending money on it.

This is a really fun place for chilling and having a relaxing time with friends and colleagues of the Heritage Group of Institutions. The various students from an array or departments and disciplines come here to eat and drink.There is also a section for the professors of the various colleges present to have their meals. The place is well kept and the food here is also prepared hygienically and is really delightful to have.

Comparing to other college canteens its much better. Lots of varities of food is available here.But the rate is a bit higher for some item.Everyday they change their menu but some items are constant. Stuffs are really very good and friendly.

Too busy place and waiting for food is there as well as self service is there. On some times there may become chaos as students have to give their coupons in random way to get food. Quick and good quality food is offered.

Food quality is just ok. You only expect food for eating not enjoy eating. I dont like it but using it as a compulsion.

Good quality food in a reasonable price. You can get here everything you want to eat. But there is a little bit crowd at the colleges break hours. Just water is not available here.

Best nongovernment college canteen in Kolkata. Its very clean. There are enough people to clean three place frequently. Chinese, North Indian, South Indian, Veg-non veg, Bengali cuisine are available. There is separate area in the canteen for faculty and students.

The cabteen area is little bit overpriced. Youhave to consume ₹40 for a very little breakfast pack. Ambience is quite good. Food quality is also not bad. The place is inside the Heritage campus.

Average food quality with decent taste and variety. Thay are introducing new things. But it is still far from perfect with really low seating arrangement. But for us college student it is our only eating place.

I am a present 4th year student of this college.The food here is not that bad from my personal point of view.The cost is bit higher as compared to the food quality though its a college canteen we cant expect the food to be just like the other big restaurant.This canteen is actually a saviour for the HITK students.

It is an incampus college canteen. Affordable foods for students , hygiene of the canteen is good. There is a variety of options from normal dosa, pav bhaji, kachori sabji, variety of chowmein to the special dishes like pasta french fries etc.They also serve beverages. Big enough to feed 300-400 people at a time.

Heritage College Canteen is very formal and well maintained.It offers a variety kind of foods like Coffee, Tea, Sandwiches, Dhosa, Idli, North indian dishes and many more snacks.The quality of food is good and pocket friendly. There is only few numbers of chair and rest are only high tables. Self service is here. First you have to buy coupon from the counter and then you have to show the coupon at the food counter.

Open to all. Good quality meal with little elevated prices. Wholesome menu as in restraunt. Personal Favourite- Chicken DoPiaza + Veg Fried rice -₹70. Note:- Come if you have practice of Eating while standing :3 If you are single,sadly seats are not meant for you. Couples may throw you away too 😉 If you have your girl, then you can always do Mele Babu ne Thana Thaya all day long on those chairs. 🙂

Vicky canteen:Food is below average specially the meals (veg , egg, chicken, fish) . As per tasty is very low and as per price too expensive , they even dont know how to cook.Not skill in cooking,Look for other options Home made food or nearby hotels restaurant.
