Went there on 10/09/2021 and had a wonderful lunch with delicious Tibetan food ! Its a very small food joint without any fancy interior, but the quality of food they serve in such a reasonable price is really satisfying. Their Thukpas are very famous and totally worth all the hype. The portion they serve is equally satisfying.I tried:Chicken steam momo: 110/-Veg fried momo: 95/-Chicken thukpa: 120/-

Great place. Its cheap but items tastes good. The amount of meat in items is good. The place looks shabby but the place is still hygienic. The staffs behaviour is nice. If you want to eat a lot of chinese, tibetian food go here.

It was much better than most. Pretty authentic and i loved the pork chilli there. Take noodles and extra gravy pork chilly with cold drinks and you are off to a happy night💯.

Hamro momos food quality has settled to its worse. Honestly I have spent my entire college life for 4 years.I had food from there today again after 2 years and found that I had the worst food of my life.Even its overpriced. Simple chicken and pork momo is prices as 110 rs with 5 Pisces with the quality of not more than 30 rs.And the dry chicken 65 was priced 210. It was smelly and utterly disgusting.Wont have food from this disgusting restaurant again.

One of the best places to have pork momos in Kolkata. I have been having food there for the last 20 years and the taste and quality has remained the same. The rates have increased a lot, though.

I have been going here for a very long time and I love it. Prices are very reasonable according to the portions they give. The owner is very helpful and friendly. I personally like their momos and lung fung soup the best. You can also try their chopsuey. I must also add that their pork dishes are real good too.

Look at those juicy and spicy fried pork momos only @110 only. If you go by car they will provide you the food in the car if you want. The special sauce is indeed spicy. For evening snacks this place is awesome. Pork, Chicken, Paneer all are available at low prices for momos around 110 rs each plate.Ambience and accommodation is a bit problem though.If you want to sit and eat here the place is clingy and not very higene. But if you takeway the foods this is the best choice or to eat in your own private car.

Please improve the hygiene in the way vegetables & food items are chopped on the footpath beside the shop. Taste can best but hygiene should be of utmost importance. Cleanliness & hygiene is a huge concern to this restaurant

Great Chinese restaurant near Rabindra Sadan metro station. It is located at Bishop Lefroy Road (currently Satyajit Roy Dharani). Small restaurant but the quality of food is just amazing. Price is moderate. You must come here to have some great quality Chinese food. Good hospitality.

Oddly enough, I had not visited this place earlier. I had heard about great Momo and other Tibetan food served on this Street and assumed it was one of the other two places. Where I have eaten many times and with mixed experience.With COVID restrictions and my inhibition to eat at a restaurant, I ordered for take away. The only staff take orders seemed friendly. I ordered for two plates of steamed Momo one Chicken and one pork. He asked me if I wanted soup. I said one would be sufficient. By the time I reached home (rush hour traffic) the food was not as warm. I warmed it in the microwave and I would give 10/10 for the chicken Momo (not really a big fan of Momo in general, yet I really liked it) the sauce was ok and soup was perhaps the weak point out the offering.Considering the set, the taste, I would say the price is on the higher side. They didnt have elaborate packaging, their set up is very modest and yet they charge almost 4 times what other street vendor would charge for a plate. Would I visit this place again. I think I will. To find out, how well they cook the main courses. I will hopefully update my review then or simply write another one. For now I will say this. If you are taking a walk around Satyajit Ray Dharani, feel like shopping at Forum Courtyard or catch a play or exhibition around Nandan complex then you might want to add this place to your list to have a good experience, albeit at a slightly higher cost.

Momos are great but I didnt like the taste of the thukpa.

Price is like 5star restaurant, ambiance of street-food stall, place is very small, couples r mostly taken care of, if u have schedule to maintain this not th place as food is served in a snails pace, all in all if u guys are not habituated of eating in slums ... Find some place else...

Here, you can relish the best Momos and a plethora of other delicious Tibetan and Chinese cuisines at extremely pocket-friendly prices. The quality and quantity of all the foods available here will exceed your expectations for sure. However, this restaurant is extremely small in size and on many occasions you will find people waiting outside to get a seat inside. But, if your prefer take-aways or would like to eat inside your car, then it wont be a problem. I would rate this restaurant much above Momo restaurant chains like Wow Momo and others. Really disappointed with the place. leave aside sitting arrangements or interiors which I was not even expecting to be good. Ordered one steamed momo and another pan fried. The steamed one was not hot and the soup tasted very bland. When the pan fried arrived we found hair in the food which they replaced immediately. But the momo was cold from inside . Both of them tasted very ordinary.

Chicken momo was excellent.

Quality and hygiene has decreased very much . I have visited this place many times 3-4 years back. But last week when I went there I got foul smell (like rotten meat) so I cancelled my order and moved.

I ordered chicken steam momo. That was very good. Chicken thukpa is very non-spicy. No spice at all. But its good. But the chrispy babay corn was very bad. Too much salty and very little in quantity. When they served me i wonder that was the full plate.

Would recommend the chicken momos Im comparison to the pork. The pork momo skin was too thick. All in all, been eating here over the last 20years. The quality of food has always been consistent.

The soup was not good as expected

The momos seem to have deteriorated from earlier days. It was a notable name in the past. The size is big but the taste isnt upto the mark.

The food was delicious and worth the visit. The service is a bit slow and menu options need more variety but the best momos I had for that price.

Very very bad experience.... I wish I could give negative rating.... Just thought to give this small dingy Chinese-Tibetan joint a try today.... As the name suggests, heard some good opinions about their momos.... So we ordered 2 chicken steam momos & 2 deep pan-fried chicken momos.... The outer cover of the momos were very thick & the filling was so so.... Five momos were there in each plate.... Now, after consuming the first momo, I discovered a long strand of hair inside the 2nd piece.... I showed the plate politely without uttering a word to the person in the counter (probably the manager) and this was his arrogant reply.... Yeh to ho sakta hay ek-do piece mey.... eh to banke ata hay.... aap yeh rakh do waha par.... and after 10 minutes they were kind enough to give me another plate but this time with 3 momos.... I just didnt dare to go to the counter again.... The funny thing was that they were not sorry at all and as this was my fault to show this to them in front of the other customers.... Yes, it was my fault to go there and will definitely not repeat that....

Used to be excellent. The original momo joint 40 years ago. Then they cared. Now success had destroyed the quality. Its tawdry, filthy, stale, unhygienic and momo fillings are more gristle and fat, meat stale. Stay away if u value your health. Oh btw they cook/subcontract the food elsewhere and just transport and serve.

This is one of the good places in kolkata where you can have a quality chinese food the price is decent and the food is very good. Almost all kinds of chinese food is available here. The place is not that big maximum 12 people can accommodate in such space.

One of the first places I had tasted MOMO. VEG steamed MOMO was possibly the finest MOMO available with them.Veg Noodles used to be full of vegetables, well cooked, well garnished and of course the quantity too was sufficient for 2 people.I feel really sad to be sharing this review for Hamro Momo, that taste has gone down sir. U need to work on tarse and ingredients BIG time.Although u were and would be our fav momo restaurant, par if the quality and taste is not brought to the types it use to be then Sir we would feel sad bout it.Request you to please look into the same.feedback and do look forward to a relishing and tasty and OLD experience of Hamro Momo. This place serve the best momos!! According to me Steam momo was much better than Fried chicken Momo. U can order Thukpa but not everyone will like it..One plate of chowmein is enough for one person. Takeaways are easy. Their sitting arrangements are less.

The food is really delicious. The deep pan fried pork momos are just amazing. The reason why I gave four stars is the ambiance. Its a really small place and my friend and I ended up filling up all the tiny tables. Nonetheless, food experience was great. I also had pork chow and chicken hot garlic. Its a great place if you are looking for good food and not a place to spend time with someone.
