I ordered this chicken biryani with chicken chaap, chicken tikka and firni. This whole bunch was awesome, the aroma of the Biryani attracts so much that it is hard to wait any longer to taste it. The taste was too good. The potato was very soft as it should be and the chicken piece was perfect.Coming to the chaap it was also mouth-watering and same with the tikka too.The firni at last added to one of my best dessert experiences of all time.I recommend these items from Aminia to have a taste at.

Biryani means Aminia. I ordered this biriyani with chicken chaap and firni. The biriyanis aroma was very mouth watering and the taste was too good. The chaap was also nice as a side dish and the dessert Firni was the best among all the desserts Ive tasted till date.I would definitely recommend this combination for a special dinner.

Ambience is vibrant and spacious. Biryani is tasty and not dry like others. Lahori chicken was also good but not so spicy if u like it. Their chaap is on the sweeter side. Little costly. Have to ask normal water separately otherwise they will put a mineral water bottle in the table from beforehand. Service is nothing too comment about. Ordered this sumptuous plates of biryani with chicken chaap and firni from Aminia Shyambazar.. the delicious looking plate of biryani tastes very palatable and makes you drool for more.. generous quantity with decent in size potato and chicken..Coming to the chicken chaap, tastes appetizing and its aroma is too hard to resist..Last but not the least the firni of Aminia has always been my favourite since childhood and I am thankful to them that they have maintained the quality and taste.. would definitely order again..

I recently had the Naan paired with Handi Chicken, Special Chicken Biryani and to end the meal I had phirni.The naan was soft and it tastes best when eaten immediately. It tasted amazing with the handi chicken, which had small pieces of tender chicken cooked in a tomato and yoghurt base.The Special Chicken Biryani was made with Indian spices, rice, and two solid pieces of soft chicken.Phirni is a thick and creamy pudding made from ground rice. Here, it had a lovely aroma from the basmati rice and using aromatic ingredients, saffron, rose water or cardamom powder.

Nice ambience at the heart of Kolkata. Near the famous 5 point crossing at Shyambazar, it provides a peaceful air-conditioned atmosphere. Prices were reasonable according to their level. I always judge the pricing based on biryani price, and 290/- for mutton and chicken biryani seemed to be a fair deal (though Id love to have two pieces of mutton Instead of served one!). Anyway it was a nice experience.

The best Biryani joint in Kolkata. Taste so amazing and good portion of chicken and rice, spices are well balanced and not at all oily.. And ofcourse the delicious part is Aloo.The Phirni was not too sweet its so creamy lovely aroma of basmati rice with the side of chicken curry compliments the biryani so well..Everything was fresh and tasty. Packaging was good. Food arrived hot when received.

Went there some days ago....This outlet has seating arrangement for 30-35 people in the 1st floor in a cozy ambiance.Tried their mutton biriyani ....Long fragrant rice along with sacculant piece of mutton was just to die for...Potato was very soft ..

One of the best restaurants famous for biryani in Kolkata. The environment of this outlet of Bidhan Sarani is very pleasant and the interior is very well decorated.We have tried:1. Chicken Reshmi Kebab2. Chicken Biriyani3. Chicken BhartaEvery food tastes too good and the quantity is also quite good. Each piece of Reshmi kebab in particular was also quite large in size and full of flavor. And there is no need to comment on biryani. The Bharta was equally good.So, for me its a must visit place for not only the biriyani lovers but also for the food lovers and the visitors in Kolkata.

Well - for us (Bengali) the Biryani is different from other parts in India. Our Biryani should be lighter than Hyderabad ones, but should be more spicy than South Indian ones. Thats why Kolkata Biryani has found its own name in the menu card. All the restaurants in Kolkata is not capable to produce that fine balance in The Kolkata Biryani, but this joint near Shyambazar is definitely of the successful one. My First visit on this outlet post Covid. Well sanitized place however I am bit worried for the distance maintaining. Also there is only one washroom which can be congested during peak hours.Coming to food quality it is well cooked however the quantity of Special Mutton Biriyani is quite less in comparison to other top rated biriyani restaurants.

Biryani is famous, also good are the aminia special mutton curry, rezala, roti, parathas, and other Mughlai dishes. Prices are a bit high, so cost for two would be around ₹700-₹800. Located right on Bidhan Sarani, it is easily spotted from the street. This restaurant seats people on the first floor. Seating arrangements are good, soft chairs and sofas all around. Food quality is good, the ambience is quiet, and clean. All in all a very good experience for me.

So few days back I visited Aminia for lunch after completing my shopping. In the time of pandemic they have taken all the precautions and followed the guidelines as per the Govt direction. Crowds were less in compare to other days. We have tried chicken special biryani, butter naans, chicken handi and firni. As I am big fan of Biriyani so couldnt resist myself to try their awesome biriyani. The chicken pieces and potato pieces were large enough to feed two people. The flavour of biriyani was so good. The overall quantity of special biriyani was good in that price. Not a big fan of butter naan but it went good with chicken handi. Chicken handi wasnt that spicy but taste was very much appropriate. And lastly I would say One must try firni from Aminia. I have tasted firni from few restaurants in recent past but Aminias firni is one of the best in my opinion. So overall it was good experience and love to recommend this place to all.

Aminia restaurant at Hatibagan cannot be able to hold its fame in providing food as earlier times. I visited there a few times for some couple of months but quality of food was average. It fails to maintain quality but it holds to maintain its remarkable price tags.

Aminia is one of the most popular eateries in Kolkata and hardly needs any introduction. But I thought it would be super fun depicting its service after the coronavirus quagmire. One of its outlets is located just 5 minutes away from our place (and that is itself a big advantage as home delivery is also available) near Hatibagan. We visited the outlet just after sunset around five-thirty in the evening. Those who love naans and kulcha (and other bread) this is surely not an ideal time. Preparation of bread remains closed after three. We ordered chicken malai kebabs in the starters along with fresh lime soda. The food was served within fifteen minutes. The malai kebab was soft and juicy. We liked the smoky aroma and the kebab melted easily in the mouth. As bread preparation was closed we ordered special chicken biryani (a famous dish of Aminia) and Lahori Chicken in the main course. The chicken biryani was truly a luxurious glee. It was a delicious motley of succulent chicken layered with fine long grain basmati rice, with the goodness of finger-licking masala, and caramelized onions. It was then slow-cooked (dum) to perfection! It also contained a perfectly boiled egg! If you are looking for a wholesome dish, go for this special biryani! Its worth it. The Lahori chicken went very well with biryani. There were four boneless pieces of chicken cooked in a thick, scrumptious gravy that satiated our tastebuds bigtime. We have visited this place before. But after the lockdown, I found this place cleaner. The precautions were well taken and hygiene well maintained. The biggest plus is that it is located at the stone-throw distance from our house! It was a love experience over there.. They are maintaining the safety precautions perfectly. Thermal scanner and the sanitizer is must when you enter aminia. Also with an extra charge of ₹20 you can opt for disposal items. Plus I used Zomato pro to pay the bill. And I got a 20% off. And the food was also ok. Though if you compare to nearby Arsalan then you will be disappointed. But as a overall the experience was pretty nice.

Its a very famous restaurant with many outlets around the city. Visited hatibagan outlet quite a time. Place is classy. Dim lights, seating arrangement of both chairs and couches. Service is quite good. Loved the ambience. It takes some time between the time of order and serve though. Kababs are really famous here they are juicy and tasty. Biryani is light and is perfectly cooked. The place is normally crowded. Sometimes have to wait outside to get a seat .The pocket pinch is on the higher side . Bt quality and quantity are satisfactory.

Yesterday I ordered my lunch meal from this place, they take a huge care about the safety as the give a paper outside packet where its written the temperature. Now comming to order Ive order two portions of Chicken briyani which is really tasty and my favourite. One portion of chicken handi boness pcs of chicken which is my first choice when Im having briyani as I love a side dish always, and lastly two portions of firnii which is a sweet dish for my meal. My favourite biryani-firni place since forever. The quality, quantity, taste of the chicken biryani here has not no match in the city, atleast for me. I had ordered chicken biryani along with chicken Handi, green salad and firni and again, I wasnt disappointed at all. They are abiding by all the rules set up by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. They are making sure that the food that they are delivering is safe to have with no compromise in taste. Aminia Restaurant was a reputed brand I having dinner last night they have handed me their menu card but when i tried to order according to menu they refused they told only three item are available then food quantity are very low and no taste very costly. Relished an extremely delectable Mughlai delicacy from this restaurant, known as Mutton Handi, which was available on Zomato, as a part of a combo meal. Firstly, the quality was really good, the meat was properly cooked and was really tender and juicy to the palate. Secondly, the quantity was sufficient to justify its price. The salad that they packed was fresh and green too. The Tandoori Rotis and the Tawa Paratha were sumptuous as well. Recommended. 👍

Two days ago I went to aminia restaurant of hatibagan branch. The experience was superrrrrrrrrrr! Food quality was perfect and the service quality was also good. They are taking proper precautions during the pandemic. And they check temperature, sanitize, and make people seat at proper distance, leaving one or two table gap in between. Loved it! Perfect.

Test avarage, quantity is below then we expected, and when they have to much coustomer they r not asking for any toppins, and the roll size below average!!!! Bad Experience...

Everytime I visit Aminia I face some issues. Last time at Nagerbazar branch faced poor service and billing issue. Never had good food experience at New Market Branch. Then why the hell Im visiting Shyam Bazar branch this time?Well! because its Ramzan month and theyre one of the very few restaurant in Kolkata serves Mutton Haleem at this time. Once again I faced issue here getting a table.I made reservation though Dineout and they said my reservation wasnt confirmed, where I could clearly see the restaurant was more than empty at that time. Finally got a table after 20 - 25 minutes of hassle.I asked for Mutton Haleem and they said its not available. I asked for Aminia Special Mutton Curry and Rumali Roti, they again said both of the items arent available. At this point of time, I was temped so high due to the hunger at 3o clock I said bring whatever you have.Tandoori Roti @ Rs.23 (3/5) &Mutton Tawa Masala @ Rs.210 (4/5) :-----------------------------------------------------------------And so they bought this shredded mutton dish and it was wonderful to taste. It almost made me forgot all the hassle I faced here.Mutton was so soft that it was just melting in the mouth, so the gravy tasted absolutely brilliant with Tandoori Roti. Half of boiled egg was given on top. The restaurant situated right at the heart of Hatibagan. The restaurant is an outlet of the famous food chain of KolkataAminia. We ordered Galauti kabab, chicken tangri butter masala, chicken Biryani, mutton Biryani, romali roti. The food was below average and kebabs were of no taste. The service is pathetic as when were having food they were repairing their A/C making loud noise and that was so uncomfortable. The water glass was not clean and a bad pungent phenyl smell was around as they were wiping the floor with low grade cleanser. Street food is much better. The price was was more expensive than that what they served.
