As the airport connects many major cities in India, it has became easy to travel anywhere. Construction of new terminal is going on. The food service at the airport should be improved as very less options are available.

Corrupt place. Spoiling the name of my Kolhapur City.. Small make shift airport. Airport officials (only the ones that finally check weight) harass people claiming excess baggage by including laptop in cabin luggage which is never included anywhere in the world... All for earning extra money.... This begins with the instructions from their supervisor and the lady who bills extra baggage... Supervisor guages from whom he can make money and instructs them... Even they know laptop is never included but basically following supervisor. Where they must follow rules they werent.... They were marking people without RTPCR test also rtpcr okay just for money.... But those who were following rules and looking decently rich enough, they were trying to make money some or other way.I was carrying only 4 kgs cabin baggage. But they tried to add my tr laptop and said its 10 kgs and that I had to pay money.... I told them I have traveled 100 times connected them to air India but they know they were wrong and hence didnt talk to air India as well. They are bold in doing such activities because they know their boss doesnt care, air India may not take action. But Im hoping some senior authority gets to know about this review and fire these guys... We need to make India corruption free.Be careful dont fall for any corrupt tricks... Get the rules printed or call air India ... Dont pay them money

Airport services are improving day by day..you get enough space for parking. You will get quality food in surrounding areas. Also the personnells working here are very helpful and kind.

Small but useful airport. Lack of some facilities but good that it connects major cities.

The staff was very helpful. They supported us at each stage as we were traveling with an infant. Though the airport is small the management was good.

Small, simple and no rush. You could mistake it for a fire station. As flights coming in and going out are very few there isnt any chaos hence peaceful.

Airport services are improving. Infrastructure development going on. Keep up the good work.

Kolhapur airport is just 8kms from the town limits .Easily accessible by private cabs autos.In July 2021 80 % town affected by floods. Be cautious

The seating arrangement is not great so try avoiding coming early , they allow only once the previous flight takes off , so try to schedule ur arrival accordingly.Th3 checkin process will not take much time so no need to worry abt that.

Kolhapur airport is still in a nascent stage...a lot need to be done.....but also improvement is there ( at least paid parking with Rs.100 is an improvement😄 ) .5 - 6 flights per dayBangalore, hyderabad, MumbaiAlso met Airport Director, Mr. KATARIA for some work- He is a thorough Gentlemen

Small Airport... Which is easily accessible... About 20 mins from the railway station and inter city bus stop.

It was really great experience I had with kolhapur airport staff. I got stucked with my pnr in voided stage and they helped really well in timely manner and arranged my ticket soo quickly. I should really thank them in making my journey possible.

Nice airport for Kolhapur. I have travelled from Delhi to Kolhapur via Hyderabad.Facilities available:: Prepaid Taxi to Kolhapur/Sangli: Washrooms:Seating: No belts for luggage (Take luggage from Tractor or Van). They will keep all bags at arrival area.

This is a small airport with a big potential. Expansion of airport was being discussed for a very long period and is under progress now, but at very slow speed. Need a very strong political will power for development of this airport.

A very tiny airport, but the purpose is served (of travel). Offers connectivity to Hyderabad and tirupati in quick time and at quite affordable prices. Must mention the airport vicinity is clean, however the passenger sitting capacity is quite small.

Pleasant atmosphere, prompt service

I request kolhapur Airport Authority to put sign board & direction while entering, there are two roads bit confusing where to enter & pick up where to exit. Parking with open space with parking irregular. Ensure your car not stuck between all side parked vehicles.Lack of greenery surrounded. Need to plant trees. Its my observation

It is better than yesterday but still so many things can be done It appears that some work is going on. Hope for the best.

Small airport, but much needed for Kolhapur and surrounding districts. Daily flights to Bengaluru & Hyderabad makes travel easy. Connectivity to Pune, Mumbai should be improved in future. Overall well maintained & nice experience.

Very small airport with limited connectivity and limited footfall. There is nothing much around. Carry your food along with you as there are no shops. Its 10 km away from the main city. The good thing is that you dont have to wait here for the checkin counter and security check. The flight tickets are reasonable considering the limited demand. Hope to see more connectivity in the future but before that hope more people use this mode of transportation from Kolhapur city.

Direct flights are available from Hyderabad and Bangalore. Only small aircrafts are serving in this Airport. Enough passenger amenities are available. Airport staff are always available. Autos, Taxis are available to go Kolhapur Central Bus Stand (CBS).

Good development by govt towards the regional airport. Smooth flow of passengers in and out. Good work all airlines. 😀

It is progressively improving...Daily flights are comparatively more now...From 22nd February 2021 it will be connected to Ahmedabad Gujarat also.

Small airport but the work is going on to increase the size of the airport,government support is must.The problem here only is many times flights are delayed and the worst thing is the flights can also be cancelled due to weather or some other condition!So if you book a ticket make sure to have a backup plan in case of cancellation.

Its my hometown but sad that I am giving bad rating. Its a small airport and good airport but Airport staff is very bad. They ask to open check-in bags to almost all people when it is not even required. They behave rudely and do not have basic etiquette which are followed at other domestic airports. There is high need to train these staff.

Im happy just for its existence. Kolhapur has very few trains. This airport is the only fastest means to reach here

Recently opened airport, things may change later

Airport is small , rather very small, slowly developing.Outside, Auto rickshaws charges too much , need to controlled by concerned police authorities. No other way of transportation in city for visitors !!!!!!No cabs, no buses or other mode of transportation.

The airport is Pretty well organized to cater to covid environment and is sanitised as well. Smooth and fast checkin. Indeed its good first experience found people are very friendly Especially thanks to Mr. RAMESH PATIL. The staff is nice and the airport including its bathrooms are kept very clean and hygienic.

I m very happy to go from kolahapur airport i m travling first time from kolahapur airport. But its should be a direct flight for kolkata please do if is possible

It is is75% more developed after 2018. Extension of runway to 2850 mtrs, terminal building and ATC is in progress with good speed.

The auto rickshaw drivers outside are a bunch of goons who harass the passengers. the airport authority should take note and regulate the transportation.

Best Service , Supportive staff members.It has given some relief whos native is nearby to Kolhapur/Sangli. Though it is in growth phase , but it has set one of the best transport mode in the crucial time.

Kolhapur airport is a great advantage for people staying between Pune to belgaon belt. The airport staff is supportive and well trained. Airport should be updated for lot of technicalities...e.g. low visibility.

Kolhapur airport as we know is pretty small airport taking us back to 90s when we used to see such aerodromes. The landing itself is nice experience with lush green view of fields running across. We have to walk from the plane to the building which is like 50-80 meters. The airport building is compact. The negative part is that the water purifier is placed bang adjacent to the washroom. Almost everywhere they are kept at corner near washroom but here it was in an awkward position. They need to find another spot.Once one arrives at the airport there are scores of autos and taxis. I checked and ola autos were available for a fare of about Rs.80 to town/Mahalakshmi temple. Some people also take auto to get dropped at highway which is just about 1.5 kms from airport.All in all this is a much useful airport for people flying to this part of Maharashtra. Currently there are flights only to Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore & Tirupati. Belgaum is also not far from Kolhapur which is just about 1.5 hours drive.There is good scope for increase in traffic here and wishing all the best to Kolhapur airport :)
