Pleasant atmosphere, Very caring and Humble staff, Head of the Ashram is very Kind and treating everyone with Love and affection.I love this place. Keep it Up...

A well planned homely stay place spread on 5acres of land, not only for aged,but also to whom those are unable to tackle with surrounding society due to their attitude.Constructed in 1998,Very disciplined establishment with kind and homely attention to guests.General and special categories for stay only but common for food, breakfast,satsang,pray etc.Very careful and sweet talking management.Total capacity of 100 persons but constructed 19 special rooms and 2 dormitories.

Stay for old persons. Treatment is absolutely very good. Wakeup at 6.30, up to 8 bath then nashta, tea. Daily different type breakfast given. Lunch at 12. At evening biscuits with tea or coffee. Dinner at 8.30 pm.Very good atmosphere. Clean air. Cleanliness is asset of ashram.

Actually I have given 1 star to this place but willingly i will give -5 (minus 5)stars to Matoshree vriddhashram kolhapur.My mother, Smt Usha Panditrao was admitted to this place last year. but we have a pathetic experience. I DONT RECOMEND THIS PLACE FOR ELDERS.The director ladies,specially VAISHALI RAJSHEKHAR was a terribly RUDE with us. They have EXTRACED lot of amount for different reasons. We were charged for a special room, but my mother was kept in a tripple sharing room. Lots of mosquitoes in rainy season but were always overlooked after complaining repeatedly.No cleanliness in the room, very very unhygienic.I dont think these conditions are good for elders.Above all, Vaishali Rajshekhar REMOVED my mother after 10 months FOR NO REASON.Such Institutions should be BANNED BY GOVERNMENT & PUNISH THE PEOPLE LIKE VAISHALI RAJSHEKHAR WHO RUN THE INSTITUTE FOR THEIR OWN PROFIT.

Matoshree old age home is a great ashram for old age. This is not an ashram but a family. The care of the elderly taken here is very rare.
