About GangaGanga Hospital was started in 1978 by Dr J G Shanmuganathan and Mrs Kanakavalli Shanmuganathan with 17 beds and 2 Operating theatres at Ramnagar, Coimbatore. The hospital underwent multi-staged expansions and was converted to a specialty centre in Orthopaedics and Plastic Surgery after their sons Dr S Raja Sabapathy and Dr S Rajasekaran returned to India following specialist training in UK and USA. In 1991. The hospital moved over to its present premises in Mettupalayam Road, Coimbatore in 2007 and also had added expansion to a separate block in 2020.At present, with a bed capacity of 650 beds and 36 Operating theatres dedicated to the field of Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery and Trauma Surgery, the hospital stands as one of the largest speciality units in this field in South Asia.In 2019, the hospital catered to 2,05,392 outpatients and 26,672 surgeries.

Very rude staff other than doctors. There billing system is also wrong they are counting 2days bill and demand to pay to days charges befor 24 hours complition. What kind of calculation they done? And also not responding to pateint relatives for any kind of help regarding to patient health.

Pathetic and unskilled staff. They are as good as illiterate. Nurses dont even know how to check thermometer. Stay away from such hospitals if you care about your loved ones!
