As far as Portuguese cafés in Hamburg go, this is one of the best.Great breakfast sandwiches, good coffee and the pastia de natas have a perfect flaky crust and generous delicious custard filling.The service is casual, order at the counter and the food/drink will be brought to you.This place is dog friendly, and no obnoxious background music.Ideal place to read while you slowly sip your morning coffee.

Ordered a vitality breakfast here for €8.50: Müsli (with Milk), Fruits and Yoghurt, 2 different breads, butter, ham, cheese, boiled egg and a coffee. The food is delicious, the amounts are more than fair for the money and the flair in the café so nice, I hardly wanted to leave after finishing. If I lived here, Id come for breakfast here every weekend.

My favorite café for years

Very good breakfast with good orange juice. Unfortunately no wifi has a router but you dont get the password. Nice service and good croissants! We were there a second time and then the waitress served us the totally wrong breakfast even though there were few people in the room. As if that werent enough, the egg wasnt cooked, just raw😂😂. We must have had a bad day. Otherwise all good!

A really nice coffee, with wonderful homemade dishes, which also convince in terms of price. Everything is very clean. The Mahlkönig coffee grinder alone is a sign that the preparation of coffee is not all that important here.

For me there is the best Galao far and wide from the friendliest baristas. The sandwiches and croissants are fresh and delicious, the tartlets and cakes are great and the audience is mixed from A to Z.

Anyone looking for a well-kept café in this area in the morning is well served here. No more waiting around. Comfortable at 9:10 a.m. on Sunday. Three sunny places, the other tables are shaded. The sun is still moving. Quiet, although thoroughfare. Usual coffee specialties. Friendly service.
