Bhel is one of the experiences of Kolhapur. And there must be something really wrong if you get it wrong. The taste of this bhel was nowhere near the inimitable rajabhau bhel that is well known in Kolhapur. Avoid this place and go to the other rajabhau places that are there in multiple places in Kolhapur. If you have tried this bhel and made your impression that bhel is a bland preparation then you need to try bhel once again. Highly disappointed.

It is feels really amazing to watch Rajabhau Shinde preparing bhel. It has a very classic, authentic taste. Most favorite items include Oli special bhel, Bhewada mixture bhel, Timepass bhel, Papdi chaat, Bhadang, Kharidal, etc.Parcel facility is also available in form of Family Packs. Family packs are very helpful if you want to send bhel to someone living in other cities, as these packs can last for one week (without onion).

If you are in Kolhapur and havent tried The Famous Raja Bhau Bhel then your journey isnt complete!Raja Bhau Bhel is very famous bhel center in Kolhapur and there are their owned sub centers around.But please dont fall for the bhel centers which just use Raja Bhau Bhels name. Please Google the right places or ask locals if necessary.Now about this particular Raja Bhau Bhel center, this is my personal favourite bhel center. I have tried other centers as well . But this one is my most favourite center because of the blend of spices and bhel mixture that they use is perfect for me! As well as the quality and quantity of the dishes can just satisfy your hunger completely.They even keep a choice for customers to tell their preferences while making the dish. There is parcel facility available.And most importantly , the Churmora (puffed rice) which they use is always fresh and crunchy.Hygiene is well maintained.Worth trying!!!Please see the pictures that I have put up are of parcel bhel .
