One of the best hospitals in terms of treatment & economy...its an important HOSPITAL for those in Idukki district bcoz this is first multi speciality hospital en route..... hospital is famous for its maternity section..

In means of helping the people from Idukki the hospital is a safe haven. Some people complaint about the hospitality but I have never faced any problem. Most of cousins have visited the hospital for pregnancy related matters.

Doctors are good but the staff in gyno , they are treating in a bad manner . Their attitude is like they are paying us for consultation .

Very slow service and not a supportive staff and they charge unnecessary Chart registeration Money (Hospital ID card money)

The reception staff attending the phone calls is so rude and never convey correct information. She is not even ready to completely hear what we are saying. Too bad service.

If youre looking to get a covid test before your trip and your nearest covid testing center is this hospital, I would not recommend this place.Youll end up spending 2 hours talking to everyone except the doctors who are in charge of testing. The staff on the second floor may even comment on the decency of your attire and invade your private space regardless of the fact that she is supposed to stand a metre away as part of covid protocol.If you dont have a choice but to go to this hospital, here are a few instructions to make your experience better --if youre new at this hospital you require Rs.1950- you need to be at the hospital anytime between 9am - 4:30pm for the test.1) register your details with the hospital for Rs250. Head to the emergency medicine section on the ground floor for this.2) After you exit, take a right and then another right, head straight into the hospital until you reach three of the hospital staff sitting at a desk in front of a clear plastic sheet. Tell them youre here for the RT/PCR. A doctor will fill in your details and hand you a 3page form.3) Take this form and a copy of your Aadhaar to the second floor and head right. When you enter the room, if you head straight you will reach the testing area. Before you go there you must pay the fee - for this you must head left,through a doorway, past a ward and into a large room. On the left you will see several staff at a long desk. On the right most corner of this desk, behind a pillar is the person in charge of billing. After paying a total of Rs. 1700, s/he will hand you your bill.4) With the bill and form in hand, head back to the testing area. The taste takes 2 mins. The doctor will ask you to come for the results in 24 hours. If you would like the test to be emailed to you, you need to send your details to the public relations officer on the first floor.5) DO NOT GO TO ENQUIRY. ITS A TRAP.

Had to wait from morning 11am till 3.30pm to finish their admission procedures. Again had to wait in the room for 2 hours ( havent had anything after 9am) just to get the information that their food timings has already got over. They asked me to wait till the dinner arrives. Excellent service. Patient and patients medicines are waiting in the room for food from 3.30pm.

I would prefer going here because of the doctors and the staff, who are friendly and helping minded. However, I have one concern, that is you guys allow a lot patients family in a hospital. That is not good for the hygene of everyone. In every ward, if you check the rooms, there would be more than one people living there till the discharge, first of all, it would create a stink of everyone inside the room, then germs and every other thing that is not good for the patients. Please try and change that rule, I hope Corona has changed it though

Happened to see the press conferrence by one of the senior doctor there about the condition and treatment given there for the assualted baby (angamaly baby)I should say that was done for mere publicity ,since there are murders and assaults more relevant than this happened in keralaThat senior doctor should have deferred from that since the whole press release sounded cheapMy advice is please avoid this type of cheap publicity stunts from your hospital

Very bad attention and care from the Emergency department. Got delayed attention and bad interaction from the staff.

Everybody is always busy and no one seems to care. I had to walk up an down the corridor with 6 stitches on my knee because nobody would help me with when or where I could get my stitches taken out. Pathetic.

A medical college situated close to the NH 49. Many people from Idukki District rely upon this hospital for emergencies. Being a medical college, plenty of doctors are available for different departments. Still, you may be in a long queue to meet your consultant. Gynecology department is famous as they try for normal delivery most often. For the same reason, its a long wait to meet your Gynecologist 😀. A drawback I could see is that they dont have parking space for cars. 2 wheeler parking is available though. Tea from the canteen nearby registration counter is too good to miss.

Christian mission run charity hospital. Equipment, machinery, infrastructure, facilities, amenities comparable to the best multi-specialty hospitals in Ernakulam. And pricing comparatively lower.Located a bit away (30-35 km) from Ernakulam - but from the Cochin international airport, its equidistant.

One of the famous Medical College in Kerala. Almost all departments are here. Have a nice casualty section. There have special ICU for all departments. Also nursing students are studying here. This Hospital is under the management of alankara Syrian Orthodox Church. Hospital give special care for all patients. Parking section share for two wheelers and four wheelers.

This is the only Allopathy hospital I ever dare to take a treatment. I had been with my Dad here for few years. Also we checked in few other hospitals. But the doctors, staffs were good here. And the hospital charges are comparatively lesser here with a quality treatment. The Doctors are very friendly, and the nurses. They dont treat you as a burden in my years of experiences.

My father admitted on hospital for 3 days. Even after informed insurance they charged the bill. Treatment also very costly and dont have maniam consideration from nursing. They discharged earlier before completing treatment. Very worst

Very bad. Worst experience. My wife admitted here for delivery and it was normal delivery, however they made us to stay for 7 days for no reason. Finally the informed about discharge and given bill again problem started, we were there for cashless and they asked us to pay money as their insurance department was not working after 5 PM. We cancelled the discharge for that day and asked them to do it next morning. Again problem, next day the provided the bill and discharge summary at 4 pm and when we been to insurance department they told us we have to pay money if insurance is not approved by 6 pm. Its the worst thing that we have to pay money inspite of have insurance and selecting this hospital for cashless claim.

Dont ever go to this hospital. Medical students will test drugs and procedures in your body. They are considering patience as a test material.zero rating

Doctors are Good.But Room arrangement facility(Paediatric section) is very bad.Nurse said Paediatric ward is better than room(less care), i dont understand the logic.2 nd openion from my side is remove cockroachs from paediatric ward....cleaning process is progress on now 3.25 pm on 07-09-2019.Cleaners are in mask but childrens in ward not wearing mask every one are facing cough issue....

One of the best hospitals we have. Kolencherry got recognition after this hospital and hence all govt transport buses stop in the front of this hospital known as the medical mission stop even if the main bus-stop is quite near. They have the largest gynac dept here with experienced doctors. The hospital is mostly overcrowded with patients and bystanders mostly. Dont have very good opinion about free of the student doctors. But there will be done like that in every medical college I guess, who learn and practice medicine just got money and not interest in healthcare.. :)

Its a very facilitised hospital.But the Enquiry and Bill sections are located at various sides making it difficult for the patient to get an appointment with the doctor.It is also not a discipled hospital the appointment timing also differ with time.

I had a very bad experience at the casuality. I took my aunt for treatment when she broke her hand after falling off a building. A student doctor asked her few questions and then went away. Another student came after 10-15mins and asked the same questions again. My aunt responded in pain. The third time another student came after 10-15mins and asked the same. I had to recreate an issue there and then, the took her to the xray room. The attittude of the nurses and doctors were horrible.
