She is divine and powerful and you feel her presence when you enter the temple
Visited this Temple couple of days back. It is Ruined Temple(Khandhar in Hindi) right now.But definitely by look of the premises & structure of the temple, it seems an ancient temple, may be constructed by some emperor. Huge thick compound walls. Placement of the small temples within it arent typical modern age type. Now its all become Jungle inside. Walls & other structures are falling& breaking apart gradually. All the deities rooms are locked so wont get to know where is Lord Shiva placed or Maa Bagalamukhi or any other God/Goddess.At day light itself it gives a ghostly chilling feeling inside. Isolated & deserted. It also looks like, may have become hideout of fewer snakes. However at evening(just before the sunset), I could few beautiful traditional Green Parrots in the temple.
I have performed pooja for Bagalamukhi at this temple even though I was in the U.S. The priest was quite cooperative (Shri KumarSwamy Dikshitar). Local people have to talk to their MLA to get some funding for this temple through the Endowments Department. I am planning to visit this temple in 2021 only due to travel restrictions and Covid-19 concerns. I request one and all to visit this temple as a Bagalamukhi upasis. Anyone wants to contact me please send whatsapp message to 017205855857(USA), Regards: Shreeram Narapareddy
