Interesting place for science enthusiasts. The place is all about sun and space.

Very good place for visit and gathering knowledge about Solar system and Meteorological systems. If youre visiting Kodaikanal pls do visit here also. It is situated at the top of hill. Nice experience. India Met dept also there in same campus. Clean, calm and nice place. In special weather you can also see different flora and fauna like flying squirrel, coloured squirrel, flowers and many more.

Not much to see in this place as only the museum is open for public. The museum basically shows the solar system and gives quite a lot of details about its formation, size and comparisons etc. Good place for kids. Adults might find it boring

Everyone should explore this area atleast once in their life.

Its IIA . Must visit for astro ,stargazers and who love science . #physics #astro there is an educational museum and it takes a minimum of 1hour .

Main gate to many Astrophysics students

Inside the area is Widespread are and many many boards and banners of celestial bodies and earth depicting the scientific nature of stars and planets.Few scientific instruments and not much to do activities. There is a small theatre inside for a visual summary of Indian astrophysics projects.WARNING : Dont try to look through the lens where the sun is projected in one of the science models. It may turn a person permanently blind.

It is good place to enhance the knowledge about solar system and energy. Tourists can observe a miniature image of sun. This place specially attract the space enthusiasts and kids. The staff are helpful and always prepared to impart knowledge to the interested visitors. Tourists are not allowed to enter with their cell phones and take photograph inside. Parking is available on the roadside only.

A must visit in Kodaikanal. solar .,evershed lab if youre a space enthusiastic.. very much energetic & enthusiastic staff in imparting knowledge ....
