This one offers an amazing view with your meal. This restaurant is built on a pier with crows taking food from your plates if you are not attentive. Alligator fish swims through the waters besides your table. Food is fresh, although youll have to wait your wait as the food is prepared after youve ordered it. Seafood is very fresh as its caught locally and daily! Good experience.

One of the best Restaurant for Food and as well as sea view. Chicken noodles and Chilly Chicken were delicious.Overall ambience is nice. Good to visit with family and friends. Ample parking place so parking issues. They take approx 30-40 minutes to serve your order but its worth waiting till then and watching the sea. Must visit for food lovers when in Fort Kochi.

It was good in the spring of 2021. Bad now. We visited 26.09.2021. No beer, no cheese naan, no tiger prawns. Animals are also not allowed.

Quiet place for a dining out. Had a Kerala styled prawns dish with coconut and curry leaves wanting for more. Watch the ships and boats go past as you sip on yr favourite drink. Fast service and polite staff. Pocket friendly, cash and card both accepted.

The ambience is awesome but the food doesn’t came to the expectations. We ordered beef chilly and chicken sultan both dishes were fail. Beef was not properly cooked and it was like rubber. Chicken sultan one of there signature dish we ordered with great expectations but it was a flop.

Well lit atmosphere. With sea facing chairs providing the best peaceful Ambience.Variety of dining options including fishes available. Crowded on weekends after 6pm .

Fresh seafood and other local dishes. Hardly any vegetarian dishes available. Staff are friendly but very keen to get you out of the restaurant before they actually close. Lights were switched off and tables cleared before 11pm and the kitchen closed an hour before other competing restaurants.

This is the best restaurant in Fort Kochi. It overlooks the river. We ordered vegetable kurma, khozi chicken,vegetable rice pulavo and chappathi. All were delicious. The service was good and fast. We noted that the menue prices for the section that overlooks the water was slightly higher than the one for the other section  of the restaurant.  If you go in the weekend make sure to reserve as the place is packed. Amazing ambience with great service and good prices.

The view is absolutely gorgeous! Definitely a place to visit at least once. The food is not great especially for the prices that is being charged.. Understanding that the place is packed but the service offered is extremely late its like having your drinks without any sides🤷‍♀️

Great ambience by the sea I agree, but let me tell you a couple of things many people have not noticed.1. Did you know you have to pay 15% more to be seated near the sea side? For the same taste, service, tables and chair you have to pay a premium 15% extra. Why this double standards? I wouldnt have minded if they had the same pricing for the entire place even if it was 15% extra. But this is one of the weirdest rule I have ever seen in a restaurant.2. The food quality is below par, there is no absolute taste infact there is no absolute effort to make this better, this place attracts people only because they serve alcohol by the sea.

Excellent location, great beer and authentic preparations of kerala. Ate squid kerala Fry which was prepared in mouth-watering kerala red masala, a good quantity for two as a starter. Main course was tiger prawn chetty curry.. Slurrrrp my mouth is watering as I am typing!! They served this exquisite dish in a clay pot and the quantity is actually good for 3 if u have eaten 2 starters already. And the beer was fresh stock and perfectly chilled, what else does one want in life :)

Located right next to the water, this place has great ambience. The food is also really good, its one of the best places to hangout and chill with friends, and is close to the beach also. Place is usually crowded though, so getting there early/reserving tables is a good idea

Horrible Experience...they could not even serve cold beer in a 35°C temperature....warm beer, no soft drinks, place is full of mosquitoes. Ordered Grilled Jumbo prawns (5 pieces) out of which 3 were medium size and 2 were normal small size. Chicken 65 was absolutely dry, rubbery and over cooked. This restaurant is just overhyped with no substance. Not recommended at all....go at your own risk.

Brilliant to spend an afternoon in gloomy weather..!! We had the beef chilli, the prawn coconut fry and the fish pollichatutha..Both the prawn and beebwere decent. We found the steamed fish a bit under seasoned.. the view is amazing and best of all serves beer and wine!!

One of the best locations and place to unwind and just relax... the views are just awesome .. and so soothing.. even if u stay in Cochin... do make a visit to seagull... the sight of ships and small boats makes it all the more interesting... along with good food and beverage options...

Poor service and the food wasnt amazing either. But the ambiance is great and the view is amazing. The waiters were rude as they know theyll get other customers. So they gave us the pier side table at noon, in the hot sun, and charged us an extra 15% for it. Sad experience.

The 1st of any month is a Dry Day; no alcohol served! I wondered why I could stroll into a seat by the water.

Decent meal- great for seafood and fish lovers but not for vegans nor vegetarians. Not too many options that are meat/fish/seafood-free. They have a huge beer list though and nice seaside views. You don’t really need fans bc the nighttime breeze is so lovely. This place is moderately priced too.

The worst service I have seen in my life. I have been waiting here for the past 2 hours. And when I try to ask the staff here they dont even care. Wont even look back even when go directly and poke them. They have no idea of what is courtesy. Dont go here if you are hungry. If you want lunch then you have to reach here by morning and beg them that they take your order. And if you are really really lucky you might be able to see the worst food you have ever tasted, when you get ready to leave after you have exhausted you patience.

Sit by the sea, stare at the ships and sip on your drink. The service.. lets not talk about it. The view is wOw and their snacks are pretty decent. A good place to go chill in the evening.

Amazing experience

Getting more crowded, but still have the beautiful blackwater ambience. And most of the people are asking for premium brands such as Budweiser etc. But have only very low number of stocks of those. They better keep getting more of those brands. And currently one of the section is under maintenance.

One of the only bars we could find in Fort Kochi (its a restaurant serving alcohol but there is no pressure to buy food). The setting was really lovely, on the water with nice views and a cool sea breeze. The service was fast, the food was good and the beers were cold! Not much more you can ask for.

Too hyped place. Food is not all that great. Only upside is the sunset deck, but you cannot view the sunset and one thing I discovered just after I paid the bill is that you have to pay 15% extra for beer if you sit on the sundeck (which is not mentioned anywhere and I doubt no one knows it). Fish is too expensive. Market price for seabass or baramundi is 600 per kilo but here it is 2400 (after preparation). Same applies to all other fishes. And Quantity is too little for the price we pay. But hospitality of staffs are way better than any other bar.

Amazing ambience and good food with beer

Its not a overall review, but what i felt over from the management, service is very bad, they dont want customers i think, coz they behave like that(Pacha malayalathil paranjal, avarude paisaak nammal poi food and beer kazhikunna pole)Rest of that,Ambiance and food is great!

Food is not that great. Compared to other restaurants. View from the lake side parlour is worth for money.. Little overpriced as it is in fort kochi side. Toilets not good. Seagull has it name for many years, so people come to seagull, but service need to be improved. Not that great.. Photos are the view from seagull.. Only attraction is the lake side view, but after noon time it is really hot and humid

1 hour wait to prepare the order :( They did inform after placing the order, about 45min to 1 hour for preparing the order, but it was too late to change decision and step out to find another restaurant. Other than this, place was fine with nice sea view

The location is nice. The service is just about ok. They messed up our order even when there only 2 tables occupied at that time. There are no alcoholic beverages served here except beer. That too, at 300+ for a 650ml bottle. It is a little too expensive because the only thing that draws you to the place is the location. The food is also equally expensive, but have to say that it was tasty. I understand their target clients are not the locals, but mostly travellers. So its ok. Not a good place to frequent for locals. Once in a while is ok.

The food is great, but the service is horrible. The servers are not at all courteous. In the end that overshadows the quality of the food.

Food was good but they took 1 hour 40 mins to serve the order. The restaurant wasnt full only two three table was Occupied. But unfortunately we got our order too late. That was very disappointing. Place is good. Must visit.

It is a water side resto bar and has really nice ambiance ... good place to make conversation and catch up with old buddys.Cons would be that the rates are different if you want to sit at the seats on the pier (30% extra tax)... the rates are already on the expensive side. But it is kinda worth considering the view.
