Very poor service. None of the phone number provided picks up the call.Due to certain reason we wanted to cancel the booking and these people are not reverting back and the amount has already been paid which is 28,325/- Very shameful of them to react this way being a reputed resort didnt expect this from them.. please think before you go for it.

Saw some negative reviews online. So i decided to drop by before bookong sonce there was availability. But as mentiomed in negative reviews it was poorly maintained. We could even see rust from a distance.

Luxurious tourist place in Ernakulam . Good place inside the city but having a quite and calm atmosphere which helps you to get rejuvenated. Floating rooms are available for stay and other attractions too. You can book rooms through directly or from any online booking platform comparing rates and discounts.For one day outings :Good place to hangout for a one day tour. One of the good options to conduct any functions or get together parties. Very calm and silent place easily accessable from Ernakulam Town. Swimming pool and other water activities available on request.

Its an ok kind of place. Property is very small but well maintained,Courteous staff. We went as a team to spend a whole day but got bored soon. There are lot of indoor and outdoor activities, but you will have to plan on your own. It would be good if the resort itself can arrange some activities. When we entered there was no one receving us and briefing us. If they can have some one do that it would be awesome. There were fishing rods kept and easily we get fish there. There are lot of boating facilities. Only thing is no one explicitly is interested in the visit. We should hunt and find out things. Food was not that great, but it was tasty. The payasam was horrible and they just had vanilla ice cream.If given some attention they can attract more people. Swimming pool was in the hot dun., It was better if it was covered. Moreboike a kids pool it was.

This resort is located at Kumbalangi village in Kerala and close to Kochi. This resort consists of 10 luxurious floating rooms with below the water level bedrooms. It is surrounded by backwaters. Plenty of water sports activities including Kayaking, coracle boat, water cycle, pedal boat along with floating pool. Can play cricket, basketball, football and indoor games like carom, chess, foosball. Food quality is good but very few choices or options. Overall great place to visit and stay.

Its a one off a kind floating resort in Cochin. Near to Kumbalangi Model Village. Food rates are on the premium side and the menu will change based on the day. Good for the night stay as well due to the ambience and the isolated nature of the property. The floating pillers are getting rusty due to the salt water in the lake. Hope they are doing the required maintenance here. You need to book in advance for the rooms. Choose from online sites for better discounts.

We had a good time here. With a group of around 50 members from office we enjoyed it in full. Good for group activities. It may seem more attractive to nonmalayalees as the resort is sorounded by water which gives classic imaginery kerala feel. Charges are little premium, but its ok

It was an amazing experience. I wondered about its features, a resort id fully constructed on water. And those who want to enjoy the nature and adventure and honeymmon in a single resort, the answer is Aquatic Island resort. Its located on kumbalangi, a fully greenery island village. So we can explore the lake and nature. This place also enriched with its flora and fauna. Poppys Aquatic Island is entirely different from their other properties. So it will give be a crown on Poppys group of hotels.

We stayed at the Aquatic in Dec 2019. The ambience and surroundings are awesome. We were welcomed by watermelon juice at the reception. Any ID card is a must for verification. The floating room was good although lack of maintenance was visible. Pool was open till 8pm. The poolside platform made of wood was not solid. It broke its leg while my wife was seated and fell on her feet. She felt severe pain on her legs.

One of the finest places I had ever stayed. The bedrooms are below water level. Would love to go there again. Any of you guys who want to visit there..a small advice. If you want to have booze carry your bottles. They dont serve.

Enjoyed our stat because of the room, food and activities. Restaurant served delicious seafood dishes. We especially liked Squid dishes. Rooms are spacious and unique with building structure half immersed in water. Lot of water activities and games kept us busy. As the crowd was less when we went, they kept the pool open for us till 10.00pm, 2hours more than usual open hours.

A very beautiful place to chill with your friends and family away from the city.They have a lot of water activities like boating, water cycling, kayaking that you can do at no extra cost.Joseph was the guy who helped us with all these activities. If you want to plan anything like fishing, toddy visit etc during your trip, hes the guy you should get in touch with.The rooms were comfortable and luxurious.The only issue with the whole place is the restaurant they have which had very limited options for dine-in and the food was blah tbh.But youd find local places to eat nearby and that would keep you and your pockets happier.

Commenting on the destination this aquatic island is a very good place to visit. From my personal experience I would suggest only those to visit who does not want to roam around outside this resort and just stay inside the resort. Family get-together occasion is very suitable. If you want to go outside this resort to tour I must tell you the place is in very remote area and there is no availability of autos and cabs, still the guy in reception named Vishnu was very kind enough to provide us an auto to go outside this resort to some other place.Food is good and breakfast is even very good. Food rate is very pricey though.You have other activities like water sports and water boarding boats.. thats the best part here, just take any water sports.The people were courtious and polite.

A resort, pool and the entire facilities floating in Lake. Its a very unique and beautiful place to spend your time with family. Individual cottages available has a separate bedroom which is partially underwater. Also has a common room and balcony which has open view to the lake. Also they have many water sports including pedal boats. surfing boards, and other boats. You also can do fishing in the lake if you are interested.They also have provision to arrange your team outing or a party for a single day

Good place, nice food and good boating options to have fun. Surrounding are well maintained. Pool is small but could be maintained better. Evening is a better option to visit if you want to enjoy the surroundings. Approach road could be made wide to allow 2 vehicle to pass in opposite direction.

Truly a retreat walled by the scenic backwaters in the gorgeous village called Kumbalangi in Kerala. The resort has a cluster of luxurious floating rooms and has a lot of entertaining water activities. Expensive tariffs, but worth it!

Good ambience, food. Staff lack professionalism in various apporaches. The pool is small compared to the overall facility. The poolside resting platforms near the pool were in bad condition, that when we were sitting, the platform legs broke and we had sudden thud impact on the ground. Most of the poolside furniture were in a bad condition. the side bar through which we enter the floating pool was also in a danger situation. The positive things were water sports., they had kayaking facility and and was awesome with a vast area of backwater to kayak on.... They should add more kayaking boards to avoid waiting time. Apart from poor maintenance on the facilities and infrastructure, the resort was good. The guy Rajashekhar at front office was very helpful. The staff who helps s to get into the boats was also very supportive. We can catch fish from their backwaters, though we have to put it back into the waters. But you can get it cooked from their kitchen itself. ...

An amazing place get out of hustle bustle of kochi city. Well located and nicely maintained. They have 10 rooms and a restaurant. Spa available. Rates are reasonable. Food is really delicious. They have a day package of 1500 per head. Includes games boating fishing and lunch and snacks. Do go for it. Every penny worthwhile. Staff is courteous. Rooms are just okay buy directly over channel.

Well I was here just for 6 hrs so I cant give a detailed description of this place.Any how They have a decent air-conditioned Banquet hall. Then their main highlight is the floating restaurant. Yes cost is on slightly upper side. Then they have a pool and a spa and some boats for group and solo ride. A small park like arrangements for kids. And I think thats it.Well they have underwater rooms. Honeymoon suite but sorry I have no idea about these.

Its a great place for a group and the entire group can enjoy in many ways, their rooms are very nice and location is very beautiful. There are meeting halls and functions like birthday, get-togethers, wedding anniversary celebrations etc can be conducted in a very enjoyable way. The attraction of this place are the unique destination, Cozy floating rooms and water games. The only drawback is the rates and the rooms are highly priced, in this rate you can get rooms in Bolghatty Palace, Taj Marine Drive and may be Taj Wellington Island even.

A novel concept of floating hotel. Though not with underwater views like Dubai, the rooms are four feet underwater and floating. Good views from the balcony. Good place to laze around on a weekend. Kayaks, Canoe rides are good option. Restaurant and a small swimming pool add to the value. Overall a good place.

The floating restaurant is the highlight of the place. Floating rooms are also available. The place offers a pool and some water sports too. Good for families and groups. Group booking should be made in advance.

This place is very suitable for honeymoon. I had visited this place on 2016 and stayed two nights. They have been maintaining in a proper way and the food was too tasty.We will get privacy there, and the service is also excellent and so many amenities are available

Good place to spend a day from the busy life.Cottages are good and well maintained.All of them have a lobby with Lakeview. Overall presentation of the cottage is excellent. Restaurant food is above average. There is a lot of water activities and indoor games to be engaged in.There are outdoor game spaces for badminton cricket etc for groups.Kids also have lot of space to run and enjoy.Its better to spend time from evening till next morning as day time is very hot and sunny during the summer time.Pool is also good and well maintained.Overall 4/5.

Over priced... Its all floating resort but wont get a real feal of floating rooms.. Spa was a great experience.. Water activites are really awsome which include kayaking boating water cycles.. Do have a very supportive staff(chandrappan cheattan and vivek). Also the pool is not very frequently cleaned also pool size is small..

Unfortunately guard dint allow customers to step in even for enquire and was very rude.. Too much off miscommunication within management which cause lot of discomfort to customers.. Minus decent view you wont get anything for this bomb price and same experience is very much available in near by resort at better price and better comfort. Not recommend

Location and scenery was wonderful. Food was a huge let down... Food was not even in the standards of local fastfood shops. Serving was pathetic. No one even bothered to even get us a glass of water. They bought veg soup almost half an hour into lunch. Evening tea was horrible. The so called infinity Pool was pretty small.I would never recommend this resort to anyone and will never be going there again

Had gone to celebrate our reunion - we have passed almost 35 years ago so one can imagine the age group we are in. Suddenly the electricity went off only in the room our party was on... or was it shut off?? They wanted to move us elsewhere to two rooms effectively dividing us. It all seemed too underhand. Would have rather they were straight with us.

Great concept lodging! Independent spacious luxury cottages floating on water connected with pathways and bridges. The are two tires within each floating cottage and the bedroom is partially underwater. A great balcony. Silent beautiful place at Kumblangi. We had some local Keralan food and it was just great!

Aquatica floating resort. Literally a beautiful resort to experience. It is an expensive property and the food is quiet expensive too. Service needs to be improved and worked upon.I give 5 star to the property in terms of the property lay out and room experience. Each room is divided into three parts - when you enter the room this is your sitting area with sofa TV dinning table, level 1 is the terrace giving you the view of the back water and your bedroom is floating in 70 percent water this is below the living room has a queen size cozy bed bathroom and TV. Basically each room has 3 levels.Every room is situated in water and when you step out you get a beautiful view and experience of back water and greenery.You have water activities to choose from, an infinity pool to swim and park for children to play. Bicycle are provided too.If traveling with children, this place can become unsafe as the pathway to the room or bridge to call it has no safety and can lead to accidents or drowning if children are left unattended.The temperature is very hot during the day time so Staying inside and relaxing is best thing to do.There are no life guards at this property.

A beautiful floating resort for a family. Need to take a ferry to get to the hotel, however the places is connected via road which might be a bit longer. The Resort is floating on water and the bedrooms are below the water level. Has a spacious living room and an open air terrace. All the cottages are connected by floating walkways. Also has some outdoor space which is great for kids. The food was great and we were well taken care of by the staff.

Very very bad service and rate also very high. Unfortunately property manager and other staffs didnt allow customers to step in the property and permission only to restaurant and rooms, we cant sit and enjoy the place even after food. Very rude behaviour of property manager and some staffs. cause lot of discomfort to customers. Very costly food and rooms. It was worst and horrible experience, un clean it is not like the picture shown in website , please do not go and waste money. Not recommend at all.

It was a wonderful day we had at Aquatic. Wonderful ambience and amazing service. The place is wonderful day to spend a day with colleagues or family. Water activities and open space to play would refresh ones mind. Only draw back I felt was the high chlorine content in the water of the swimming pool.

A beautiful place located among the backwaters of kumbalangi near kochi.Plus points1. one of its kind2. free catamaran ride in morning (morning catamaran ride is awesome, Mr. Narayanan shows you around and patiently explains about prawn farming, rising of tides, principles behind the letting of waters at specific timings, Chinese fishing nets etc). Its worth the price !3. free water sports (the Tamil kids explain and help u have some water sports inside the hotel premises)4. awesome location, floating concept (you may dont have any other resort to compare this with)5. infinity pool merging with backwaters : the management is kind to let u use the pool till nivht 10.30 unlike other hotels6. availability if toddy : toddy served in beautiful pots as shown in the pictures, good taste, doesnt get you on high fast, gives you a good feel (but the latter parts about the toddy though)Minus points (scope for improvement)1. improve breakfast service (we had no buffet and only one boy serving us, what was covered in complimentary buffet was being served on request). I had specifically spoken to the general manager Mr. Saravana regarding the breakfast food services but we had inordinate delay in breakfast service. Only after complaining at reception did they speed up the services.2. food quality : though overall quality is good, its difficult for everyone to adjust to coconut oil medium for each and every dish. it will be helpful if the hotel arranges for a plain menu with usual oils as cooking medium than coconut oil as routine. Otherwise guests can be given an option there whether they want coconut oil as cooking medium.3. It is advised that guests may convey to the reception their requirement about toddy as soon as they check in, because the toddy is not available always and requires prior informing.4. Quality of toilets in the floating room : the western toilets have to be scrubbed as they have stains.

I really loved my stay over here. Although they dont provide wifi facilities in the room but if you are looking for relaxing and lost in nature kind of trip this resort is the best choice. I will definitely recommend this place.

If you want to experience Alleppey im Cochin then this is the place to go for. As I visited Kerela in a very tight schedule, I was not able to visit Alleppey. So I stumbled upon this property. Well, this is actually a floating resort and have lots of amenities for the guests. Guests can enjoy boating and certain other water sports. Also they organise a cultural programme on the night and it is very good. It is a bit expensive but its worth it.4/5 because the staff is a bit inexperienced and it was very difficult to find the property.But if you are missing out on Alleppey due to a tight schedule , then do visit here.
