Very good place for who like cricket and football..Also lots of kids had fun with vacation..we can see Beside the ground lots of big trees protect from usSome exhibitions are presented in this place.very calm and neat placeIn christmas time one tree will completely decorated with lots of stars and series light.this is one of the most beautiful seen in christmas

U can always see this place lively ..with kids playing foot ball ..people going for walk in the road beside...if its Christmas...its a must see..the ground is decorated.. A carnival is arranged...stalls are put up...giant wheel and lots more....

Its a good place with lot of shades and shadows... Its not much hot even though its noon time due to lots if trees

A great Place to workout

One of the main playgrounds in Kochi. This was the main playground of locals, but nowadays the authorities preserved it for some renovation works.The big tree in the shape of Christmas tree, situated in the ground is the main attraction here. Apart from all other days except new year week, this tree get designed with tons of lighting and decorations. Good ambiance with festive mood created though. Lots of people came here for just watching this.The ground can be improved with some more facilities.

History sleeps in this ground. Major landmark of South Kochi. This ground has been renovated to football patch.And hosts the Cochin carnival functions here.Ample Parking Space available.

Its a super ground to play professional level football as the ground was recently renovated for the FIFA under 17 world cup. Its maintained quite well and the ground can also be hired for conducting football tournaments as there are flood lights and can be used as a professional football ground.

It was a FIFA rated football ground, now local authorities are looking after it.

Inside ground there is small building which is supposed to be rest / changing room for athletes & players, is not maintained properly. All the lights of this building are burning 24×7 . Informed authorities but they are not taking it seriously.

It was fun being thr.. visited a fair after a long time..

Veli ground now maintained by the football club VELI LIONS...And the ground famous in decorating their tree in Christmas......

Veli junction is an awesome place. And this football ground caters to the young enthusiasts of football. Kerala is mad for football and this ground takes the spirit forward.

Veli ground II - Triangular shaped ground which is commonly used to conduct programmes during festive season... especially during Christmas and new year season.Permanent stage is available for conducting DJ and other programmes. Now people use this ground to learn motor cycle driving. ( Because the nearby big ground is not accessible to public all the time )Dronacharya boundry is on one side of the ground which leads to South Beach and other side is the 50 feet main road towards fort kochi.
