We finds this restaurant in a google search for a quick takeaway, but the way we landed here was accidental and later realised it was worth the visit. We decided to go to some other restaurant in search of beef vindaloo which is not that easily available dish normally in hotels. And as the selected one was closed, we finally ended and here and decided to try the food. But, for our surprise the first name mentioned in the menu board was Beef Vindaloo. As i checked with the person in the counter and found the item is available. So we happily ordered porottas, Beef Vindaloo and a chicken roast. While waiting there after the order I found beef vindaloo in each of the table in sight which increased my curiosity to taste it. The porotta was a medium sized porotta which was soft and tasty. I think a normal person can have 3 porotta which wont make it so heavy. Beef Vindaloo was mindblowingly delicious and was top of the list. It was like 8-10 medium sized pieces with very thick gravy with some tanginess of vinegar and was perfectly salted. Normally Vindaloo is a very spicy dish amond the curries but here the spiciness was well balanced and was not that over spicy. May be that will be crucial point which makes the dish so favourite among the people. When i tasted that with the porotta i realised which all those people sat there when i was ordereing the food was having beef vindaloo. The beef in the dish was cooked perfectly and was soft. Moving on to the chicken roast, it was nothing less that of beef vindaloo, that was also very delicious with that semi gravy made from onion and rich tomatoes. The gravy was very thick and rich in flavour which remembered some chicken roast which i had long way back. It was absolutely mind blowing and the chicken was soft, fresh and very tender. Both the curry went so well with porotta and was delightful feast. Qauntity of both the curries was decent enough to shares for two people easily. The price to quantity proportion felt very fair and all the food was very delicious, lick smacking and worth for every single penny which we paid. Other than porotta, they have live appam, puttum etc available. I think the restaurant is open only in the evenings from 5.30. The restaurant has a seating capacity of upto 30 - 35 people at a time. Parking is available as it is on the highway side. A great place for non veg lovers passing by. Highly Recommended.#All my reviews are based on my personal experiences.
