Most of the staffs are dedicated but they are wasting their energy by searching something ...Only because of , all the data they are referring are in hand written only ....The system ruins the productivity and time of both staff and the public...No online paymentNo card paymentNo online receiptsNo online applications...Like everyone I also hope things will change in coming days ...Atleast they can start accepting card/upi payments..

This is so old stonage type of working culture. So much complications in the regular process.While things are getting digitized this place still believe in Hard cash only.That too if you dont carry exact amount no surety of getting your balance amount.

The place was packed and old fashioned. If youre planning to visit during the pandemic, you need.to be extra cautious. I went there for getting my daughters birth certificate. There are agents outside the office premises who can help you fill up the forms. Theyve done this for a lot of people and can help you, not only with filling up your form but also with some insights into the entire process.

The office is located in the marine drive close to Maharajas College. There is no parking space available within the office. We have to park outside in which most of the places are no parking areas. The office has a break time from 1:09 pm to 2:00 pm . There are three different cash counters available in the office. There are people outside who will help you fill the forms and various forms are available at the counter outside. The service is also fast compared to other offices as they will provide birth certificate within a week

Some officers are nice, Peons are the best but there are a couple of JADA officers who are disrespectful to the citizens (they are sitting there to ruin the reputation of the firm).[Ps. One star for the good officers and two stars for the Peons]

Went for birth registration. Very easy procedure. Buy Stamp paper of value 50 in the name of applicant(not the baby), 5 rs. Revenue stamp. Get the application form the front office(20 rs). Fill and give to Counter number 4.

Its getting delayed and been months Since I have waiting for an approval from cochin corporation for my sons birth Certificate legalization. Some one please share contact mail/follow up option to get it done.

One of the worst government organisation in Kerala. Nothing more to say a typical government office with government staff who never respect time and effort of those who visit here. No parking facility. Worst grievance cell as well. Writing of review is not going to change anything here that is for sure. But this is all what people can do about organisations like this. Pathetic system.

Its not about the office. Its about we, who are going there. Strange!! We are not maintaining proper COVID protocol. So, actually Saturday holiday will not going to help. Staffs are cooperative. But I have noticed few corporation staffs, who are not wearing mask. Forms in English will be suggested for them at least for people like me how do not know malayalam.

Kochi Corporation not switched to online tax payment. On a reverse track?? Not even card or online payment, only cash payment!!!

It was a good and nice experience, photostat shop was also there and 3 mens are sittings outside the gate to fill applications. Officers behaviour was good. I have only one -ve to told you al__ there is no covid-19 precautions. Even sanitizer was not using by anybody.

Pathetic staff with a disgusting attitude. Dont think any of the staff members from this office is really gonna bother reading any of this comments or concern. I really really hope that someone from the above make sure they resolve the issues real quick.

Service should be better .despite being richest corporation they do little to mainatian the raods adn amenities. All raods are worst. you go to get a certificate it takes ages. not accessible aunless you have high levl contacts. politics has destroyed this place

Went to pay the tax for corporation, they require last bill for tax paid. No use of ur building tax and no online facilities to pay the same in this covid situations.

Well, I had to visit the office during the COVID time so I guess it is a special experience. I had visited the office to apply for and on another day to collect the birth certificate for my kid.. experience was good, there was a queue and some wait time, but once I got to the counter the processing was fast..

Even during this covid time with limited staffI got death certificate in next on request, just mentioned to janaseva Kendra the diseased is from a different district and an ex servicemen to lady in front office,in few minutes she searched who was assigned that file taken out file and she herself told reason to registrar and he given signature max it took 15 -20 minutes. Offcourse Previous day evening I given application near law college counter

The corporation has its central office situated in Ernakulam and has zonal offices at Fort Kochi, Mattancherry, Palluruthy, Edappally, Vaduthala and Vyttila.Cochin Municipal Corporation main office is located at Park Ave Road, Marine Drive opposite to Ernakulam Jetty.

Service is pathetic and attitude of the staff here is the worst I have seen in my life. I went there to apply for birth certificate of my kid. I visited the website to know the formalities, to my surprise they had an online application form. I filled all details and paid fees online. But when I visited the office with all required documents, they said the online application does not work, you have to manually fill the form and submit again. So, I bought the form, filled the details, made the payments once again and waited in the long queue for my turn. Then the next headache... the officer said, I shouldnt have applied online, my application is now stuck in pending status, they cant even process the manual application now. The staff was so arrogant and was behaving like I had committed some crime by applying online. They asked me to make a whole new application in a white paper requesting to correct my online application. That too need to have court fee stamp and pay another set of fee for the new request. I had no other option but to run again to the court, get the stamps and a white paper and do everything they ordered. The whole process took me a complete day. I had to stay there from 10:30 am to 4 pm with my wife and 10 month old kid.One advice to you guys: Never ever make any online applications from their website.Followup: After two days, I got a call from them saying that I need to submit an affidavit with both signature of both father and mother to complete the application. I dont know why the did not tell thin in the first place.

This is the place where the death and born are registered, for applying any of the service, needs stamp paper or stamps that can get from Cochin district court, where it is on 10 minutes walkable distance. For any application needs a form from here. After submitting, it takes weeks and months to receive. But if you want make it fast, bribing is the best way to do. This is so corrupted corporation. Here I attach the form for birth certificate registration and the stamp paper copy. The price list is the form filling charges which provideed by outside of corporation.

Went there for applying birth certificate.Outside the office there is 3rd party service providing form filling service.They will charge 25 RS for filling the form.But we can save time of enquiring here and there.They will also provide stamp paper and court fee stamp.No need to buy from outside.All process went very smooth.Harldly it took 20 miniutes to apply the certificate.
