A little late but worth Absolutely brilliant. The staff were really great and professional. Catered to all our needs. Whether it was the restaurant where Vaishak and team took care of my toddlers food demands or the front desk who helped us out. I am not able to recollect the individual names but the whole team there were brilliant

The most wonderful experience awaits anyone whos planing on staying the night at the hotel. I had a fantastic time there all thanks to the hearty and hospitable staff present at the hotel, they tend to every little concern of their patrons.Also, Id like to add that the team at casino truly are honest and sincere because at one time I had forgotten something quite expensive at my room before checking out and as I was about to leave, the porter came running and gave me my possession telling me I forgot about taking it.I did tip him as a token of appreciation and he merely said warmly that it was his job!Great service guys!

A good hotel , not the best 5 star hotel at kochi , usually they have reasonable rates for the rooms , which is a plus point. The breakfast spread was not that great, only few options were available. The dinner spread was good but not great. The food was tasty.

I traveled with my family of 6 adults and 3 children. The front office staff Mr. Melvin was extremely helpful and others were the same including the staff in the Restaurant. Liked the stay so much because of its ambience and friendly staff. The property is well maintained and well cleaned. Breakfast was awesome with many varieties. I definitely recommend this to anyone traveling with family. As it is inside the Willington Island, there will be a toll of 12 INR on your way in by the Port Authorities.

Casino is nicely located in Wellington Island and has the beautiful backwaters at a walkable distance...CGH offers authentic Kerala style rooms with wooden antique arrangements in terms of their interior designing..The staff and front desk demonstrates the epitome of hospitality and great gesture of customer obsession.. they are always ready to serve you.. my check in was made within 2 minutes with my rooms arranged... also the Manager (I dont recollect the name - a nice human from Punjab) is an amazing human..realizing we checked in at the late hours of the day, he arranged a late check out for us to ensure our convenience..No hotel might go that extra mile for their guests!!It offers a nice and worthy deal if you could grab it at a rate less than 2.5k .. The pool is simply awesome and the food at the restaurant is nice, though it is expensive..would be good to check the menu before ordering anything as it might be tolling for your pockets ..

Hidden gem of a restaurant. We didnt stay there but went to eat lunch alone. All the food items we ordered had great flavor. I felt like suddenly I was taken 20 years back with respect to the taste of food. Very calm and quite place.

Good experience and hospitality despite the fact that theyre working on limited staff. Wouldnt say a fully 5 star experience but still a hotel with a good ambience. The breakfast was good even though most of the dishes were not there due to small amount of guests. The room is spacious and has good amenities and is a nice to be in followed by good air conditioning as well.. Lots to see around the hotel, fort kochi and marine drive and really close.. overall a good stay. Recommended when staying at Wellington Island. Cheers:)

It was a pleasant experience. Staff at reception the sikh guy was very helpful and courteous. Room was spacious and there was areas to explore for kids. housekeeping staffs were also good for inside room cleaning.now some cons(some may be due to covid).the window was not cleaned and there was a lot of algae on that, very visible.menu was not provided even after request.bar, restaurant, pool was closed due to covid.the swimming pool area was not cleaned(maybe understaffed due to covid).all together a 4-star experience. 5 stars for the staff and 4 star for the rest.

Hotel is having a great ambience to stay-calm and stick to the ancient classic mood, great attraction is the Banyan tree and the hotel is situated in Willington Island where Fort Kochi, Mattanchery, Marine drive, Thoppumpady Walk Way, Navel Base, Cochin Shipyard etc are nearby.

A peaceful place to get relaxed and enjoy. Its located away from the rush of city. They serves fabulous and delicious food.

So we went for the dinner buffet. The spread was very less for the price they charged. And the taste was very average too. There was no proper starters, they just gave a slice of chicken , a paneer cutlet and some bajji kind of stuff . For bread there was only 2 options -Kallappam, and kerala parootta(which was cold and hard to get ) for main course they served one variety or chicken , one pork, 2 fish items. Everything else was veg. Interesting part is there was no Rice items, not a single one. Dessert also was very average. Service was good. But menu is too less for the price. Disappointed!!

A little away from the town, but its worth the travelling. Rooms are spacious and neat with all kind of amenities. When coming to the food, its delicious and superb. Restaurant was just opened after the pandemic, so the menu was not fully available. About the staffs, they are so helpful and courteous in every way.

Lovely place to stay and dine if you are in Wellington island in kochi. This place is super nice in terms of service, the food they serve, the overall peaceful vibe. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. From the current food menu(due to covid restrictions they just have a limited set menu) I love the pork spare ribs, the sea food chowder soup, and the jasmine rice with pork char siu. You can reserve to have a lovely pool side dinner. Overall this place is worth trying and it isnt too harsh on your pockets.

This is a honest review after staying here for a month.... The hotel is spacious, rooms are good and the hotel staff at reception goes out of way to help you in need but that does not make it all.The room service and food at restaurant is not upto the standards of a two star let alone the five star rating it has. The food is always in buffets with almost the same cuisine repeating everyday.After a certain duration in my case the service overall seemed to become more off like favours rather than their duty cleaning staff needed to be reminded for room cleaning, etc.

Had a relaxing laid back Sunday amidst Corona with all three ingredients correct...Chilled Beer, Sumptuous Food and the Pool... the buffet was a great spread (1200 bucks plus taxes)..Pork was missing...so looking fwd to that. Made plenty of laps at the pool and then gorged on the beer and food. Definitely worth your money!

I stayed here after a very long time, I was really surprised the way the hotel has gone down, it was one of the best hotels in kochi a decade ago but it has now gone to oyo standards, couldnt believe this was the casino hotel I know. Yes, the prices were very low but thats not excuse for degradation, I dont know whether the situation (pandemic) has made this but truly cant believe.I should really thank the front office manager, he was exceptional, great personality and humble sardar ji.

Its one of the oldest restaurants in Cochin. Good ambience and enough seating. Friendly staff. May need booking in advance on some days. Buffet menu changes each day and it would be better to check that with the hotel before going.

One of the most beautiful resorts we have visited in Kerala. The location is a little away from town. But its worth the travel. Beautiful tropical architecture and contemporary interiors. Food was good. The staff was also extremely helpful and polite. Outdoor pool and lawn area is pretty well done though we couldnt use the pool due to covid restrictions. Had a very pleasant stay. Would definitely visit again

Loved it inside and out! CGH properties are always a notch high on standards and this one too is not different. Amazing ambience and architecture. They have done a new redo to interiors which also adds to the value. Food costs are very high though. Staff was very caring to my family!

Good hotel and good amenities. Suitable for the people who are going to Lakshadweep by cruise as they dont have to travel a lot. They have in house restaurant too and a seperate bar too. Theres also a restaurant near by. Considering their guests arrival time for cruise they should allow early check in without additional charges.

We had dinner at the Fort Cochin seafood speciality restaurant.Pros:1. The ambience was nice and the service was good.2. The quality and taste of each dish is of a really good standard.Cons:1. The prices are definitely on the steeper side with a basic main course dish costing you a minimum of Rs.600+.2. Since they have an open kitchen layout, at one point, I was shocked to see the manager doing some cooking.

The location is Great. Stayed here for two Nights in 2019. Good and Spacious room, Clean and Well Maintained Washroom. Ambience at the Reception area & waiting area was awesome. Receptionists and other staffs were friendly. Swimming Pool present. Buffet Breakfast was awesome.

It was a nice ambience and is good for a stay of few days. We attended a small mehendi function and was quite memorable and was a great setup.

Tried their much acclaimed 5 star buffet. Starters prawns tasted bland. Even the main course were below average. There were no main dish that could satisfy the south Indian taste. Mutton curry with dal was all not best of our choice. Biriyani got over between.Most importantly everyone who had buffet with me had their stomach bloated up. I am not sure what kind of artificial things are added.Its not even worth 1300 rupees person we paid. The AC at restaurant doesn’t work properly and they bring up pedestal fans. And call them 5 star hotel.. seriously😂. Better options are there in cochin, its not worth going to this cramped place. You might not even get a parking slot inside. The staff were polite and courteous. The only good thing i could take back.

Functioning with limited staff, many amenities are closed currently. Rooms are clean. Its an old property which seems to be renovated. Staff is courteous, polite. Newer options are available nearby. Other properties of cgh group are better. Restaurant is ok but with limited items.

It is a business hotel... Not for family and long stays... We stayed during new year eve, booked the hotel because of good reviews on food but it was not upto mark may be due to rush...

Situated in the W.Island the Casino Hotel is away from Hustle and Bustle of the City. You can enjoy delicious sea food cuisine in their restaurants and bars. Rooms are best and room service is excellent.

The stay was good. However, there were few lapses from their side. I had enquired whether any of my laundry was with the hotel and was given the confirmation that no laundry is with them. On returning, I cross checked and realised that they had not given the clothes I had given for laundry, and wrong information was passed on to me.Request the management to work on these issues. Small things like this matter, work on it.

Casino is a five star rated heritage hotel located in Willingdone Island Kochi. Its located very calm place. This hotel is very eco friendly. Here you can enjoy best seafood restaurant in Kerala. The pool water is treated with salt minerals instead of clorin bleaching.its safe to ur eyes, skin and hair. The food they served is safe to ur health and delicious. I visited their kitchen. There is well maintained baking unit is here.

The location is superb, silent , away from the city hustle , their dinner buffet was one of the best I have ever had it was almost 800 rupees per person, the staff was so kind and courteous, food was really tasty , the pool was not yet open , so once its back in full swing Im sure that I will visit again. Their restaurant- tharavadu multicuisine restaurants ambience was amazing. If not for a stay you can go for the buffet here , you wont be dissapointed.

A bit out of the way, but a really nice hotel. Great rooms, fab pool, and staff were mostly friendly.Breakfast was really good. The restaurant worked on a buffet style throughout the day which wasnt to my liking, so we tried the seafood restaurant.The food in the seafood restaurant was really good, but the pudding was quite probably the best Ive ever tasted anywhere. It was listed as a chocolate and nut tart I think which it wasnt.... But it was so delicious Id be tempted to go back again just for that!

One of the oldest hotel in kochi... Of CGH earth group.Courteous staff, class ambiance and spacious rooms. What attract me most is the decorations they made with the recycled paper and plastic bottles. A Christmas tree with used plastics bottles used in hotel, chandeliers and other festive lights made of used papers and old newspapers as utility covers... A humble try to reduce the carbon footprints. Kudos to the team casino...
