Masha Allah good mosque

A great place to gather for namaz👌Very spacious and equiped with all the needful facilities for believers.Very helpful for lots of employees and tourists visiting the Wellington island.Neat and clean inside and surroundings.Sufficient parking space is also available for car and bikes in the nearby areas.Filtered water and comfortable toilets are also there.

It was a great experience.the place is spacious and have calm atmosphere for namaz and also great facilities also.

Peaceful and calm

One of the oldest mosques in Cochin and the only one in Willingdon Island, managed by an independent Trust. Masjid Ismaeel Essa, as is named. But popularly known as the Island Juma Masjid. It is heavily crowded for the Friday prayers, Jumua starts by 12.30 and ends mostly by 1.10 P. M.Employees from the Cochin Port, Customs and other private establishments attend the prayers. During Jumua, persons from the Cochin Naval Base also gather in large numbers. But during holidays there will not be much people in the Masjid. Very few people stay in the quarters in Willingdon Island, if they get two consecutive days off, they leave for their native place.The Masjid has facilities for women also to offer prayers. It is well maintained by the management.
