Wonderful place. It has such a wide collection of books... Every genre I could think of. In love with the ambience. A very new and fresh concept in libraries that has been brought to Kakkanad. Would highly recommend this place, especially because it has books that cater to every type of reader... It also has a whole range of books that will keep kids busy all day long.

Pathetic service standards adopted by the Library at Kochi , refusing to give home delivery of magazines in contravention to the promises made while enrolling new membership.Kakanad Library has not been updated with latest financial magazines despite repeated requests made for the past 3 months.Enthusiasm shown by the staff while canvassing for new membership is not reflected in their service standards after membership. Going back on their promises truly reflect their poor service standards.
