Truly blessedAs an MSW student from St. Albert’s Collage working in bless retirement home as an intern was an incredible experience, my first few days was rough being in a new environment and all. It was also tough for me due to I never been apart from my family for this long but after the initial days I have really started to love being here with all the interactions with the staffs and residents being super friendly. We all have stereotypes and myths about aging ,senior citizens being grumpy; don’t like activities and want to be alone. You see all these myths broken in front of your eyes, they love dancing, singing games and whenever there is a competition residents are very competitive. You can see a literal child in them after all it’s their second childhood. I have learned so much ,This was one of my best experience in my life and I recommend all coming students to apply internship at bless retirement home .

Beautiful place, away from the crowd!! Management, staff and services are good and whoever resides here are looked after well.

I stayed there as a guest for 3 days.I was extremely impressed by the ambience,the hospitality and the facilities. The food was nutritious and homely .The staff were very courteous and helpful.would like to make a special mention about Mrs Biya.Looking forward to staying there again.

It is hard to put into words the overwhelming love and feeling of belonging you get when you are in Bless. Its a heaven on earth and for our senior citizens who wish to lead a fun filled happy and blissful retirement life, without second doubts this is the place for you.

My parents came to Bless mid-year in 2019. We have been researching the upcoming retirement homes for a while since this is a new concept in Kerala and weren’t quite sure what to expect.My parents had some very specific needs so we had to be even more aggressive in making sure Bless was the right choice for them. Our trial period lasted more than 6 months.We live abroad but came down multiple times during this period to experience Bless ourselves and see how parents were faring. While it did take a few weeks for them to feel at home,we noticed remarkable improvement in the health and well being of my parents. Overall they seemed much happier and relaxed without the daily burden of housekeeping , cooking etc. and the company and friendship of like-minded people. I did have many detailed and honest discussions with the administration to make sure both experienced staff and newbies get to know our loved ones and they have always been understanding and respectful of our needs. It was a combined effort and the Bless team went above and beyond to address our concerns and make things work as there isn’t really any cookie cutter solution that will work for all the residents.Long story short Bless turned out to be a great fit for us and we couldn’t be happier. I would highly recommend Bless!!!

Peace ful atmosphere

My parents have been living at Bless Homes for almost one year. They are happy and relaxed.Bless Homes is a very well managed organisation. The facility here is thoughtfully designed for senior citizens. The food is delicious, healthy and a lot of the used vegetables are organically grown at Bless. The nursing staff is well trained, attentive and caring. Bless is also located close to a top multi-specialty hospital. My parents are happy and relaxed to be without the burden of housekeeping and cooking and enjoy the company and friendship of like-minded people (doctors, retired professionals, retired civil servants and retired scientists). To get the real picture of what one should expect if you move into this retirement living ,one should stay there for a trial period of atleast 2 months.Do not invest into it otherwise . The first impression would be very good but that is misleading. The management has a lot to learn when it comes to care of the elderly.There is lack coordination in the various departments .The food is often not suitable for the elderlyYou may not get all that is promised to you.The ambience and cleanliness is very good.The nursing care is very good.One major drawback is that trainees are passed off as trained care givers often .

Best place for retirement life with quality houses...

I want to capture a few words of thanks for the excellent care being provided to my parents in Bless. My parents came here at a time when they both needed some extra help with care and the luxury of not having to worry about meals and housekeeping. We were new to the concept of retirement homes in Kerala and came in not knowing what to expect. Within a short few months we have seen what a tremendous impact Bless has made in my parent’s life. Ms. Lija and her family have been God sent , bending over backwards to make sure all our concerns and needs have been addressed. We were most impressed at the quality of the employees , very hardworking and compassionate. Never once have I visited and not been impressed by the outpouring of concern they show to all the residents. They all truly reflect the philosophy that underlies the whole place. The nurses are well trained and devoted and it gives us peace of mind knowing that there is a doctor who visits the residents should a medical need arise. Bless also has tie ups with a top notch hospital which is a stone’s throw away letting the residents have easy access and quick appointments when needed. The facility itself is more like a resort , away from the city with some stunning landscape and accommodations modern styled and senior friendly.. Food is excellent – healthy yet delicious , a lot of the produce organically grown by staff and residents in Bless. All big holidays are celebrated with elaborate festive settings and participation of all the staff and residents. Ms. Sheethal works tirelessly organizing events and activities (art workshops , clubs , music , fitness related, etc.) to keep the residents entertained and active. All in all, we couldn’t be happier knowing our parents are in a safe place well taken care of. I have spoken highly of Bless to many of my friends and acquaintances in the community and will continue to do so.

The experience of living here equals to that of living in a good serviced appartment but better because of the overall homely environment that is there. The management is absolutely hands on and they try to exceed expectations. The whole atmosphere is friendly and the staff is always eager to please. The food here is truly awesome, authentic kerala food, and they do have a wide variety!!! The place is beautiful, clean and very well maintained. The people living here come from a vide background including doctors, retired professionals, retired civil servants, retired scientists etc and they all bond very well among themselves. Felt like my parents are staying in an extended family. Truly a blissful experience for people @ Bless. Bless retirement keep up the good work.

Its not an old age home as the common people think, its a community of delighted seniors citizensFacilities includes plush rooms to elderly friendly infrastructure, handpicked staff, sprawling estate, sumptuous food, warm dining and common areas etc.

So serene, so calm, yet so lively...Offers comfortable yet active living for any retired person....Late fifties/ Early sixties is the best time to join...Myself and my wife wife spent around three hours at Bless and were truly blessed by the warmth of inmates and staff...Couldnt join due to some pending commitments towards grandkids, but anyday when we think of a retired living in the true sense, we will be here.Thanks everyone..

It is felt that I reached in the promised land of Kanaan desam to Israel by God in the holy Bible while coming to Bless.Thankful to God.

Impressed with the set up. Almost everything I had in mind regarding a retirement home is provided. Hope things will go smoothly and they willbe able to provide the promised facilities continously. We have booked a2 BR appt.Important Suggestions ;1) Have non-veg options on more days (atleast 4 days a week)2) Try to include a billiards table and Table Tennis Table in in-doorfacilities.3) Make the walk ways covered to protect the oldies from Rain &Sun while walking to the Dinning. Also Wheel chair friendly walkways.4) Have atleast 2 drivers in the pay roll for the service of the inmates.George Samuel
