They sell fresh fish without preservatives only. The down side is they remain closed when fishing is banned due to bad weather etc

Supposed to be supplying local fish, two times I had bought, the fish quality was good compared to fish bought from private vendors. This is government run.The shop is run by women and they clean the fish if needed.Always insist on a receipt, because last time they somehow they excused from giving a receipt, that raise suspicion.Today I went to the shop at 8AM and it was closed. They told me last time that they open at 7AM. This is disappointing.The government should open more stores like this and must inspect and monitor their activities.To sum up - the quality of fish is good, there should be more shops with supervision.

Verity of fishes are available here, especially fresh catch from Arabian Sea.

Lastday bought 2 kinds of fish. Both had mix of rotten fish. Earlier they used to give better ones.
