Affordable hospital. Good casualty care and pharmacy.

I have been visiting this place for a while now. I have come across good doctors who have managed to treat effectively and also with a sense of purpose.But my most recent experience here was something that left me surprised !I wanted to purchase my medicines from a medical shop near my residence (as I get a decent discount from there) . I hence asked for a prescription of the medicines from the general physician who out rightly denied the same stating the medicines has to be purchased only from the hospital.I find this attitude of hospitals absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. No hospital can force the patient to buy medicines or compel them to get the pathology tests done only in their labs. Especially when your costs are over the top.Its a shame that we citizens have to put up with such kind of non sense in our life even when it comes to medical treatments.

Token Q system is very poor and unprofessional, no value for patients time.During this pandemic patients are waiting hours to consult the doctor.Even though if we ask any questions to the nurses/ counter staffs they have no time for reply.Very much frustrated with this system. Its my second time bad experience in Cardiac Dept.

Samaritan is a hospital which has improved its quality drastically. It has very good doctors on board. It is a well maintained, clean and patient friendly hospital.

Its all about money...money...and only money...Even if it is a mild fever...you wont be told until they have made you use of their casulity services,blood tests,scanning and whatever they can to make your wallet empty..*)only star i left is for the nursing services...the nurses do well their jobs but the hospital isnt the right option....

Came here for the first time, My physician was Mr Dr. Varghese Paul, who was a great doctor and a person who helped a lot. The major problem of the hospital is the staff and their system of process. The staff here are nursing students who are either afraid to do things or who really don’t want to do any work! Also the apparatuses they use are very old because I had to arrange a rare blood group, where I arranged 7 people out of which 4 where not fit for blood donation due to blood pressure here in Samaritan but those 4 people went to another hospital and donated blood the same day itself ( have valid proof ). The infrastructure is great but the process system they follow is very very bad and most of the nursing staff acts like a sloth while doing work!For the info of bystanders or people who are going to get admitted here, don’t even think of doing a call from your room cause there is no network inside the hospital for most of the mobile services and so don’t think of working or killing ur time inside here surfing the internet.The doctor I consulted was on of the most supportive doctors I could see but the staff here and the system really spoiled the whole review.An exploded regulator for a 500/day room

Often go there as its one among the easily accessible hospital nearby. Id have omitted writing a review if I or any one in my acquaintance had a different experience ever. Surprisingly, not even once they served satisfaction. Doctors are far better in terms of attitude, but other staffs, especially those women sit in the reception are horrible. The way they deal with patients is absolutely shameful. I have even witnessed them treating old aged patients in a very pathetic way. Professionally, they are very very slow with their work too. Extremely unpleasant to every single person who stand in front of them. So rude n irresponsible. I really doubt whether this is a private hospital or not! Please keep some staffs who has a compassion towards fellow beings. Wrote on behalf of many people!

Had been to this hospital for covid antigen test on 17-April 2021. By 9.30 am there were about 30 people waiting in the hospital main lobby for this test. People are sitting in the near by seats which are normally there for other OP patients. Dont know why hospital is not isolating people who are coming for antigen or rtpcr test. Since the number of cases are increasing drastically hospital should do something immediately to isolate the peolpe coming for test.Seeing that much people waiting.... I went to another hospital in Thrikkakkara. There they had put seperate temporary shed outside the hospital building. People are there to assist us for paying for the test etc. You wont be allowed to go inside the hospital lobby area which is quite appreciable.

This hospital famous in cardiac related treatments,here there is separate block for cardiac section,all case of cardiac surgery doing here,many well experienced doctor available here for 24 hours,treatment cost cheap compared to other hospitals,lot of area for car parking and no restriction for visiting patients,Juma masjid and church available near by hospital

Ive been here a couple of times. Usually the experience has been pleasant. There are some great doctors available who respond to you with empathy. Not at all overpriced like the multi specialities around.A word of caution - if youre there to visit Dr Varghese Paul, then be assured that your patience will be tested big-time! The man has no value for time and even though the OP starts at 10 AM, he usually arrives by 11. Most of his patients are older people, who get frustrated awaiting their turn for hours !This experience is absolutely unprofessional and maybe its high time the management took notice of the issue.

Better go somewhere else if you can....worst staff u can find... belive or not being a doctor myself never been so unsatisfied by the behaviour of a hospital staff.

You need to pay extra money on canteen to take a tea on disposal glass even in these period of epidemic. Surprisingly you need to repeat the same thing, atleast 3 time especially when you need a tea with no sugar

Services are really bad..Some staffs behaviour towards patients is not good.

Did Bypass surgery for my dad at this hospital by Dr. E V John.Wonderful team ... great hospitality... support staff, ICU nurses, PRO team everyone was so kind and caring. Surgery charges were also less comparing to all other hospitals..Cons - Blood bank is not there, depending Sun rise hospital for the same.

This is one of the best hospital that I have ever seen. Very good doctors and specially the staffs over there are undoubtedly service oriented. I have seen service as their motive. I will suggest this hospital for all delivery cases. Lots of space for parking, good canteen service, excellent PRO department, very good chapel for in house daily prayers, I strongly recommend this hospital to You.

Its a very old hospital, but certain departments are very good especially Gynecology and Cardiology. Recently my wifes delivery happened here and all went good. Dr Silvi John is one of the best doctors you can see nearby here. Even the care given by the sisters in Gynec ward is absolutely excellent. Really thankful to Gynec ward sisters and Dr Silvi John. I recommend everybody having any maternity related issues to go to Silvy John without any doubts...Also the services from PRO by Wilfred and Edwin also is much appreciated. They were always available for any help with regard to the hospitalisation and claim.

Never Ever go to this hospital. Such a pathetic service. My dad has gone to the casualty complaining blurred eye vision and tiredness. They ordered CT, ECG, EHO.....so many tests. The most horrible part was they have admitted him in the ICU. All the tests were negative. Still the doctors would say to relatives that there was slight problems....bla bla....One echo test was pending for yesterday. They took him for this test only after 5 PM and later said, billing department is closed. So we cant discharge him. Today also my dad is still in hospital. For what???? Because they are horribly slow and intentionally pushing the discharge. His poor vision was due to cataract. They hide this information from us and just speaking to us about the heart condition, brain condition to create a fear in us. Infact all his CT, echo all are fine......Such a pathetic hospital.

04/09/2021ശനിയാഴ്ച രാത്രി 09.15 PM നു എന്റെ ഭാര്യയെ പൊള്ളലേറ്റ് ഈ ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ട് വരുന്നു, നേരെ ക്യാഷ്വാലിറ്റിയിലേക്ക്. അവിടെ നിന്നും 11 മണിയോടു കൂടി റൂമിലേക്ക്‌ മാറ്റുന്നു, റൂമിൽ ഞാനും, എന്റെ ഭാര്യയും,ഞങ്ങളുടെ 7 മാസം പ്രായമായ മോളും, പിന്നെ ഭാര്യയുടെ അമ്മയും കൂട്ടിരിപ്പിനായി വന്നു. പൊള്ളലേറ്റ ഭാഗത്തെ Skin ഓരോ ദിവസവും ഡോകടറുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ കീറി മാറ്റുന്നു,എന്തിനാണ് ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നതെന്നു ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ പൊള്ളലേറ്റാൽ ചികിത്സ തുടങ്ങുന്നതിനു മുൻപുള്ള ആദ്യ പടി ഇങ്ങനെയാണെന്ന് ഡോക്ടറുടെ വാദം .ഇന്നല്ലെങ്കിൽ നാളെ എഴുന്നേറ്റു നടക്കുവാൻ സാധിക്കും എന്ന പ്രതീക്ഷയിൽ അതി കഠിനമായ വേദന സഹിക്കുകയാണ് എന്റെ ഭാര്യ.അങ്ങനെ നീണ്ട 8 ദിവസങ്ങൾ പിന്നിട്ടു, പൊള്ളലേറ്റ കാലുകളുമായി ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് ഓടിക്കയറിയവൾ ഇന്ന് അനങ്ങുവാൻ പോലും സാധിക്കാതെ ബെഡിൽ ആണ്, ബാത്റൂമിൽ പോകുവാനോ,കൊച്ചിന് പാല് കൊടുക്കുവാനോ കഴിയുന്നില്ല. അങ്ങനെ ആണ് ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലയിലെ അടിമാലിക്കടുത്ത് പൊള്ളലിനു ചികിത്സ നൽകുന്ന ‌ജോർജ് എന്നു പറയുന്ന പാരമ്പര്യ വൈദ്യൻ ഉണ്ടെന്നു അറിയുന്നത്, അപ്പോൾ തന്നെ ആശുപത്രിയിലെ ചികിത്സയിൽ അസംതൃപ്തി അറിയിച്ചു അവിടെ നിന്നും 11/09/2021ശനിയാഴ്ച ഡിസ്ചാർജ് ചോദിച്ചു വാങ്ങി ബില്ല് അടച്ചു, പിറ്റേ ദിവസം 12/09/2021ഞായറാഴ്ച രാവിലെ 8 മണിയോട് കൂടി ആശുപത്രിയോട് വിട പറഞ്ഞുവൈദ്യന്റെ അടുത്തേക്ക് വന്നു.10.30നു ചികിത്സ ആരംഭിച്ചു,വൈകുന്നേരം 4 മണിയോടു കൂടി എന്റെ ഭാര്യ എഴുന്നേറ്റു ഇരുന്നു, എത്ര വേദനയിലും ഓടിക്കയറി നിങ്ങളുടെ ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് വരുന്ന രോഗികളെ തിരിച്ചു സ്‌ട്രെക്ച്ചറിൽ കിടത്തി പറഞ്ഞു വിടുന്ന നടപടിയോടു വിയോജിപ്പ് അറിയിക്കുന്നു.
