I have a very good experience of Cochin Hospital during my stay in Ernakulam till 1993. I called up the hospital today for some information. The call was taken by the receptionist who was not of much help and transferred the call. The lady in question said hello and without listening completely just disconnected the call. I did not accept such behavior since I had very good experience earlier. Surprising that such an old hospital has no website of its own nor email for sending mail and getting information required.

Today I had visited this hospital in order to meet one of my relative who is undergoing treatment as inpatient here under the urologist.I could understand from him that the room rent for non AC single room with bye stander cot is only thousand rupees and that for AC room is two thousands. It is also known that the treatment expenses are very less when compared with that in other hospitals.The room rents are found to be very nominal as far as Kochi City is concerned.My relative informed me that he is fully satisfied with the treatment given to him by the Urologist as well as the Physician and hence my first impression about this hospital is very good.The abscene of parking area for the patients and visitors are restricting the approach to this hospital.

For poor people its recommended

Very rude and pathetic behavior in the reception.Very bad customer service. Receptionist doesnt know how to treat people nor their job to connect phone calls.Hospital has no clue how they really work.If you want blood pressure and your beloved ones in grave yard, 100% you are in rite place.So guys kindly avoid this hospital.

Update: I have attached the photo of Doctors list.I used to visit this Hospital because my favourite Pediatrician Dr Abraham K Paul provides consult here. And then as I grew up, I stopped. If there was one thing that was irked me while I ever visited this place was the outpatient calling order.Years after, I visited again - for my kids! And that too because my still favourite Pediatrician is still providing consulting here. But that problem about the outpatient calling order.., is still irritating!

Worst hospital.. sharing from my experience.. I had been there 5-6 yrs ago for treatment. Dr. Mohan is not a good person.. It seems his intention is just making money through unwanted tests which are not really required/relevant.. Also, he is someone who doesnt seem to behave well with ladies.. somewith wrong intentions..

Good service but we got infected by the drinking water provided by the hospital.. including my 1 year old baby also...

Worst hospital ans worst service.. and unprofessional Dr..wont be there at time.. waiting and waiting for a long time and no use.. they dont care about others time and all...Went there three times same issues are facing there..

Hospital at Pallimukku, Ernakulam. There is also an outpatient section and a treatment center. It is also an approved treatment center for various groups including the central government departments. The pediatrician, Dr. Abraham k. Paul is one of the leading doctors here. Even though it is not a very large hospital, it does provide excellent services. M.G. The hospital is located on the road.
