Had a Good experience at Akshaya hospital, starting from the registration, you are greeted with a welcoming smile and everyone there is happy to help. There was enough space for all waiting patients and the bystanders to maintain adequate social distancing.The nursing staff was also very cooperative and empathetic. Dr. Akshay who we met was very calm and helped us understand all details of our procedure in detail, he did not seem like he was in a hurry to finish things off, rather took his time and explained us everything in detail and also patiently responded to all our queries.The rooms although not huge, had adequate space and maintained well. The rates were also reasonable imo, basic tests, x-rays, consulting fees everything was reasonable considering this is an hospital right in the heart of the city. Also it feels good to see hospitals focusing on treatment and care rather than just running it as pure business. One improvement I could think of is to have tie-ups with more insurance providers for cashless hospitalization. I had to go the reimbursement route as my TPA was not associated with them. Overall a good experience.

Normal delivery in kerala is always doubtful but they were so much sincere and helped me with it... Induced labor and waited patiently giving me a very good treatment... The nurses were all equally good... They were so much caring and supportive... The hospital was totally full of warmth and friendly staff.... I contacted Akshaya Hospital for the purpose of consulting a surgeon to know the second opinion of a small nail problem of my sister. I was contacted my one of the staffs and they fixed an appointment with a surgeon as per my requirement. They sanitised us and noted our contact number at the entrance. The reception staffs asked us to fill a form, we paid the consultation fees and after a wait of 5 min, we could meet the surgeon, who was able to give a clear cut solution and explained us the problem and gave us options to rectify our problem. We were able to reach to a conclusion as to what to do next. For OP patients, they will allow patients only after wearing mask properly & sanitationFir IP patients, they take both Antigen test as well as Rtpcr tests for both patient & bystanders (asper protocol, they will allow 2 bystanders only)So, over all, this hospital provides one of the best antenatal care to mothers & paediatric cares too...ConesThe room rents are heavy in relation with the size& the facilities of the rooms... Room size also very minimal.. That is, room space is not adequate to accommodate 1 patient & 2 bystanders ...Car parking space also not sufficient....If these problems are solved, then this hospital will be one among the top 5 maternity hospital in & around ernakulam city...
