Moving our daughter to a school in India was probably one of the toughest decisions we had to take as a parent. Nevertheless, we were quite lucky to find the right school in our hometown state of Kerala in Dawn International School that followed the same UK curriculum she was currently doing in State of Qatar. The teachers and administration staff at Dawn were very welcoming and ensured us that our daughter would fit in seamlessly. Despite the challenging position for both teachers and students due to the ongoing pandemic the teachers ensured the students were well tutored and a positive atmosphere was in place during all the online classes. Feedback from parents were met positively and the dedication of each of the teachers in the secondary level has to be commended during these challenging times. I am grateful that my daughter Kristin had the opportunity to be part of Dawn and the one year at Dawn she has only got better and continued to excel. Keep up the good work!

The most best school in kochi Ive ever been to. Considering the fact that Im a foreigner originally from the Maldives, my experience was amazing!I love the way how the teachers treat students. not to mention the mouthwatering, delicious food served by the chef. Ive studied there half my life and really dont regret any moment. Dawn International School is one of a kind. I would say this school has a totally different approach towards learning and teaching. I joined this school last year and the first day itself I started enjoying this great school. It is truly an international school and gives me an opportunity to understand different cultures, languages and be part of a community with students from more than 20 countries. My first visit to Dawn international school was in August 2017. The chairman and the principal welcomed us warmly. Dawn offers an excellent learning environment with incredible technology resources and a great campus. Dawn s facilities are superb and are always being updated. I feel proud that my son is a part of Dawn family and one of the best decision we have ever made. A place where each student is given individual attention as well the strength of the class is very less.The chairman , the principal , teachers and other staff members give a safe and supportive environment to the students. Our child is well pleased to get admitted to the school. As parents we are really happy for that.

I am a student who graduated from Dawn International School. I love Dawn mainly because of the teachers and the facilities that Dawn offers. From what I have experienced youll never miss home once you are at DIS, maybe because everyone from the security to the Principal is there for you with a smile whenever you want them.Teachers in Dawn are experts in their field and are very friendly. They treat all students equally and gives extra care for those who need it.I miss everyone there and especially the tasty food Chef makes🤗

Good place for the Children For their educationThe Number Of Students are are very less , so that every Teachers and Principal Knows the name of every Students right from the LKG to 12th . Which will also improve the relationship between Teachers and students.All The students are participated in all the celebration on stage with any of the rolls. I feel proud that my son is a part of Dawn family. My son has made wonderful improvement in academics. Teachers here provide high level of support to improve confidence and self-esteem in children. They r nurturing good values to kids.Teachers and all staff are giving more individualized attention to each and every kid. Principal mam and all staff are very supportive and ready to hear all our concerns. Teaching methods they are implementing is very interesting and enthusiastic to kids. They always say Work is play. Seldom does it truly translate in its true sense. Only some of us out there pursuing a career end up doing what we like, even fewer who end up doing it how they like and a lucky few who end up doing it in a place which gives the space, freedom, opportunities and atmosphere to express yourself. The icing on the cake is if its your first job!I am fortunate to be in this lucky few. And I Teach! What better place to start than Dawn international school. For students its home away from home. Our philosophy is to nurture them and not pressurize. Motivate them and not push. Impart the right values for what is right and wrong and discipline. Inspire them and not spoon feed. In the end, the student transforms to an able young man who can think and not just apply someones thoughts.For teachers, its a place where the management team is there to guide and support and not to interfere. There is trust that each hired personnel knows best how to do things they are expected to. It gives the space and freedom to express and truly be committed and accountable.I have not seen the world and I am in no way intending to disrespect any other organization which is great place to work, spend 50% of your days time and be satisfied for the day, career time and life well spend, but, Dawn for me has been one of the if not the best places to work. Dawn is a school I have only dreamt of in India. Having had disappointing experiences of Indian education system during my school days as a student 4 decades ago, I was lucky to have my utopian quest end at Dawn. My daughter studied 4 years and graduated from here. From a shy, introverted, unassuming and low profile young child, it was at Dawn that her talents bloomed in music, dance, sports and education. The teachers and staff genuinely look at the students as their own children. The Chairman personally takes care to cultivate an environment of liberal education, not found in Indian schools known for their rigidity. Dawn School is the perfect match for open minded, fun loving and creative children who wish for an all round personality development brought about purely by the free spirited and uninhibited interactions with other children and the staff, all under the encouraging care of Dr. Johnson C. Lukose. My daughter is now studying Astrophysics in the University of Massachussetts, Amherst and enjoying every moment of it. Choosing Dawn International School for her high school education in a small town like Cochin was the best decision I made for her. Words cannot express my gratitude towards Dr. Johnson, his son Joby, Principal Ms. Sindhu and all of the teachers who contributed towards realizing my daughters dream. Dawn International did not meet its prospectus and did not conduct itself as an international school. It was often unprofessional, disorganised and poor at communication. We visited Kochi from Britain for a 3 month work project earlier this year and our children aged 13 and 10 attended Dawn for a number of weeks. Their school experience was disappointing in every regard and we struggled to get any rectification while there. Before posting this review - as a caution to other foreign families evaluating Dawn from a distance - we have contacted the school directly to give broad but clear feedback. They have acknowledged and thanked us for our opinions but have not attempted to discuss and understand them. Only a very open and detailed look at where they are going wrong will enable the school to improve and this will no doubt take some time.

This is by far one of the worst schools Ive seen/been to. Its all fake. Teachers disrespect students and the staff members are not professional at all, this school makes kochi look like a joke. Horrible school and definitely not worth the money. The last principal of this school was vulgar (anitha dileep). Would never send me kids here not recommend this school whatsoever.

This school has been functioning efficiently for the past 10 years and has seen all ups and downs, stood strong and achieved the best school award last year.I am proud to say that my son is studying in such a school where we have an unbiased chairperson(Principal/owner) Lukose sir and a very active but soft spoken vice -principal Sindhu mam, teachers who are as caring which makes a working lady like me feel secure. The school follows Edexcel (international) as well CBSE curriculum and at the same time co-curricular activities are also given due importance, with all necessary safety taken for outdoor activities.The cafetaria food is also freshly made and suites the palates of all students.They have a door to door pick and drop facility which is air conditioned.The school is a complete package as an educational institution being the best and striving to be better all the time.Thank you for all the warmth, love and care.With best regardsJyotsna(PTA member and Parent)
