Accidentally found this gem on our way back from Aleppey. The dishes are very flavourful and reasonably priced. Great place to indulge for all seafood lovers. The prawns roast was amazing!

Fish curry is very good. Quality of fish is fresh.

A typical seafood restaurant. Go dining just for seafood. Their curries and fries tastes awesome and, fish curry lovers... Do not try avoiding this place. Normal meals without any seafood curries or fries is not good.And good food costs good money. A normal meals eater would find price list here hefty. But comparing to other seafood restaurants and for the quantity and for the quality they serve the price here is a good thought out one.

Star Hotel on Aroor Thopoumpady Road...1km from Aroor junction while going towards thoppumpady....Few of us on our way to Madhus cherthala, meet up at Star cos Madhus is closed....Most of the things at par with madhus...the meals, the side dishes...but the fish curry was a touch better than Madhus. Prawns and the podi meen equally good. The sambhar, pulissery and the buttermilk all just too good.....drooling as I am writing thus...Pricing a bit higher than the normal restaurants in Kochi but the fish is fresh and the quantity also justifies the pricing.3 meals, one kalanji curry ,one podi meen fry and one prawns roast...Rs 550/-....
