My favourite place to go @Kaloor for a quick bite. Always been consistent in terms of portioning and taste. Never been served under cooked meat.
Good I really Expected Much More ,Actually The Taste Of The Food Is Good Like The Quality Of Shawarma , I Have Tried Both Beef Shawarma , Chicken Shawarma Both Jumbo And normal Tried , From My ExperienceThe Quality Of The Normal Shawarma Is Not Worth At All , Its Like chapati roll Thats Thin , I dont know Its Like same In Dubai , The Main Reason I Came to This Place is My Brother said Can have Dubai Shawarma, But The Jumbo One which is worth good and have whole meet ,Also I tried The special Dish Actually I dont Like It Its like eating puff and the inside stuff is very low, from My point I suggest to have the Jumbo one which taste good and have quantityOverall Experience Is Good , Give a Try 😅
Visited this please after hearing a lot of good reviews about their Shawarma. We tried Chicken shawarma with tahini. The shawarma wasnt worth the hype. It was bad, the flavours were not on point and the consistency of the filling was off. It is nowhere close to the middle-eastern shawarma. You can call it a below average Indian Shawarma.
Tried their special dishes beef and chicken marya. Both where not that.good.It was like eating puffs. They filled it.with chopped meat which doesnt had any flavour (HONESTLY IF YOU PREFER SPICY , YOU WONT LIKE THIS DISH FOR SURE).Seriously, dont believe what these food reviewers say in instagram and all. Those dishes were not worth the money you pay.
Pathetic...in a state were shawarma is almost like the unacknowledged state dish we have this place that dishes out below average shawarmas and has pathetic service to add insult to injury..went on a Sunday evening to taste their new shawarma tacos..waited for an hr before being informed that they are out of shawarmas nd had to get it from their other outlet..waited again before being told that they cant serve us our order...so pls pay the bill nd go..My opinion...stay away from this place...if u want shawarma nd gud service..Al taza wins hands down..
Taste is good, but quantity is not economical.
Heard that there is some chef from aboard who make authentic shawarma. Went to try their beef shawarma and unfortunately it was over so we tried chicken shawarma and it was good. However the quantity was pretty less I felt for jumbo roll and price.Next day we went again there and tried beef shawarma and beef marya. Beef shawarma was juicy and best in kochi. And marya was different but with the onion inside took away the taste taste of beef.Ambience was very normal and it was not clean at all. So I wouldn’t give a 4 rating here due to uncleanliness. Service was decent.Very good for shawarma.
Quite and cosy place with pocket friendly meals and snacks. Their service is so good and their classic Arabic shawarma is a must try item.
Loved their super soft chappathy and chicken fry sprinkled withchilly flakes and dry fry coriander.
Great ambience. Great service! One of a kind! Highly recommended!
Well personally I liked the place apart being there at the rush hour ...the place was crowded and only have a limited seating capacity...but...the food was excellent...and customer service was really appreciative.. as their recommendation was spot on👏👏...the place is nice and neat..but kind of congested...but overall experience was really great 👏👏👏
Had chicken biriyani. It was good. They give a good dates pickle and the correct salad. The use the correct rice for our kerala biriyani. Rating down because we had to wait for the parcel even though we had ordered ahead
When the syrian chef came it was good but now they are not using Tahini now only garlic mayonnaise.
One of the best shawarmas that I have tasted...🤤😊
Happened to visit this place after seeing a promotion from an Instagram post, shawarma items was over by 7:45 pm.Hence tried their kebab but it was just an average experience and was overpriced for no particular reason, for a piece of kebab there was a waiting period of more than 30 minutes. The behaviour of few of their staff is really annoying, I was about to leave the place due to their service but the manager/owner convinced me in staying there.Hope to try their signature shawarma dishes and change my opinion about the place🙂
Taste different... Good taste... Good in quantity
Only shwarma and alfam were available. Food was tasty but lacks variety.
I heard that an Arab chef makes the shawarma here. Hence, I expected an authentic Arabic shawarma like Ive had in the middle east. I regret to say that the shawarma is pathetic. They fill it up with a lot of sauce and the meat inside got no flavour. I do not recommend the chicken shawarma here to anyone.
Food quality is good enough to stoke curiosity to try out some of their dishes again. But other than the regular and common Arabian menu found in pretty much any Arabian food eatery, they have nothing fresh or new to offer. The interiors arent as attractive either. The only thing spot on about them is their location. Very easy to access being on the side of the Kaloor Kadavanthra road.
Due to the hype visited today and bought a beef shawarma and a chicken shawarma hearing the chef has come all the way from seria and expected it to be special and extraordinary but to to be honest its simply overrated guys I would anytime suggest haji Ibrahim or altaza for the best shawarma in Cochin. The romali rotti was dry, there wasnt enough mayo and the inside was bitter.overall not happy with what they offer
Tried full meat shawarma.... it was... quite good and tasty
In the beginning their shawarma was good after the syrian chef came but now its fake, they dont use thahini anymore .
Contacted them via the number provided in Google and checked wether there is alfahm available. But the one who took up the phone held me waiting for around 10-15 min. Just to confirm the availability, and he didnt even reply and cut the call. So I repeated the same process and same thing happened again. Thought that this was due to the peak hour. But later got to know that this happens mostly when contacted them for enquiry on the availability.Apart from this the food is good. But i hope the staff or the one picking up the calls has to be more enthusiastic as proper behaviour towards a customer is quite important too.
This is the best shawarma in Kerala mahn!!! I was born and bought up from Saudi.... Been there for 17 yrs.... And I tried many shawarmas from here but everything has either cabbage or carrot in it which is so stupid! Thissss one! OMG. I felt like I was back in Saudi😭 ❤️ it is the same shawarma we get from any arabian country!!! I love CAFE DUBAI 💘💘💘
They have some really interesting Syrian dishes to try out like the marya. For the portion size and vibe if the place its tad expensive but forgivable. The sheikh kebab was the best item on offer. Tends to get crowded on most day and in such cases please expect considerable delays. Parking for about 3-4 cars rest on the road. Definitely worth a try
The kebabs were juicy flavourful..and quite filling.. excellent quality stuff. ..!!! The newest Go-to place for kebabs in kochi.. !!! And they are quite innovative with the beef tacos and Marya dishes as well !!!
Went to their hotel behind the stadium road, ordered a beef kebab roll . After 20 mins they came and told that the beef was so dry they couldnt make my order . I loved their food and was a customer for around 3 yrs. I usually go to the kathrikadavu hotel to have their alfaham but had a bad experience for the first time ... 👎
Shawarma quality is good, service can be improved
One of the best shawarmas in Kerala. I just love the way they slice thief meet , no chopping of meat , the flavor is too good . please try their full meat options
Good Varieties of Shawarma.
Good food..But price is high,
The five star rating is for their chicken biryani combo. Delicious as always❤️
Something has changed here cant find the imported chef anywhere. Like always the shawarma are in hand of local staffs, beef and chicken roll maintained their quality but there speciality dish Mariya was a disaster in all presence. That is my opinion it might not be the same for others.
Much more taste in the kebaband chicken shawarma more good rather than beef actually , quality of the beef shawarma not at all greatAny way good try all😊
We got a regular chicken shawarma and a chicken marya to go. Both were good. We were waited upon by a great guy called Adi. What a great spirit. Five stars for the service. 😄
Beef Marya and shawarma are must try.
Chicken stuffed in chappati and charging 140 not worth.
I ordered jumbo full meat shawarma using online application, That was not worth as price. Very small quantity, really disappointed
We went to cafe Dubai to try the beef shawarma. I have to mention that Im a fan of this subtly flavoured, filling shawarma. Be sure to get your order in soon as the shawarma gets over very quick.Good pricing and helpful staff as well.
Food it good but not great. Ambience could be improved for the amount we pay.
Nice place, nice food. They have chicken and beef biriyani and their combos. Combos includes biriyani + fried chicken + lime around ₹220🤔. Dont know whether there is other items. The time i went, they told me this things.
Last time I was here, didnt get the food I ordered. They prepare shawarma and other arabian food after 5PM only
Must try beef marya
Love the rolls here. Better than many of the popular names. Must try!
Not worth the hype. Do not go here. They gave is old chicken along with shawarma , what can be worse than this.
The beef shawarma is awesome. Love the flavour. Although it might take a few extra minutes to get your order, its worth the wait.
Their shwarmas are nice and authentic. Not much mayo used, less amount of Vegetables, taste of meat is there in the roll itself.
Not at all worth the hype. The so called jumbo full meat beef shawarma is Just like common shawarma from local bakeries. The dining is just Okay (not even tissues/water jug) and not much clean. They lack drinks, only fresh lime is available. Customer service was below average
The quantity of the food was satisfactory, please do not order Arabian food here. There arent spices nor its tasty. Tasted bland. Wouldnt suggest for an Indian or a Malayali to eat here, cause Malayalis like their food spicy 🔥.
Chicken Shavarma is yummy.
Awesome kababs..... A must try.... Great food since ages.... Keep up good work.....
Good food, service and even rate was also up to mark, me had the biriyani and chicken fry and shake from vaup cafe also
Tried the famous shawarma, while I can definitely feel the difference in taste from all that tasted so far, I think its bit overpriced.
Good food but very less items to pick in the menu.....chicken and beef only no fish or mutton
Variety Arabic Dishes...Especially Marya Shawarma..Super Tasty..Must Try..
Really good Biryani 💕
Liked beef shawarma and one more beef dish. Didnt like chicken shawarma much. Overall good.
One of the best and authentic shavarma I had tasted in kochi.
Tasty and Affordable..
The biriyani and peri peri chicken is good.
Yummy food ! The taste is very authentic . A must try ! .. The dining area is not so great though.. not kept clean and very basic
Meat flavor is really nice. Good food even though little expensive
Worst experience ever.. Had to wait1 hour... Really a bad experience ever... I think that cook is not from Syria.. He is someone in India.... Better to eat from haji Ibrahim... High price, low quality and low quantity. I ordered jumbo shawarma which looked like 70 rs roll... Dont take a risk to spoil your day...
The best Shawarma i ever had. Must try their Chicken Shawarma. You have to wait a little more than the usual shops. But that waiting will be worthy..
Beef Shawarma and tahini sauce 😍 loved it !! Please be consistent !!
Do try the beef marya..its really good
The mayonnaise taste really good ,for some extense their shawarmas credits goes to that mayonnaise. We bought kebab seik shawarma and beef shawarma,Beef was good but kebab was nothing special and there is no flavours at all it felt so lame not spicy also.😑The second thing was we ordered take away but it took around 30-40 minutes ,but there have been a lot of (around 9 in numbers)staff inside the kitchen but still it was this late and not too crowded on that day.🙄🤷♂️The shawarma size was too small though,I appreciate they gave lot of mayonnaise 😍
Fillings was ok but the meat was sooo dry .. coudnt eat fully.. even their beef version seems salty
Please dont go and have shawarmas from here.Tastes bad, portion is less and we have to buy pickles as an add-on .For pickles you need to pay additional rs.20 and you will get 2 slices of normal cucumber and 1 slice of normal carrot and one pickled green chilli.Worst experience ever.
Great food, good service.Chef special Marya is so crispy, juicy and tasty
Very pathetic service... I never experienced such a worst service.. They told the food will be ready in 20 minutes.. We waited for 45 minutes. . Still we were waiting and the food was not ready . Very pathetic customer service. . No appology nothing. Its realy waste of time.. Please dont go there.. Such a horrible experience from them ..
Have heard people rave about this.. but personally the Marya I tried was very bland.. not for the spicy palettes.. Seekh Kabab was ok.. but they do have some really variety in their menu..
Tried their Chicken Shawarma Roll and plate. Not worth the hype. Felt the chicken was too dry and the quantity in the roll was too low compared to other shawarmas in town. I went their after seeing a promo video on Facebook and the place was a let down. I dont think the Syrian chef works there any more. I hope they rectify the issues soon.
