Our favourite Society bakery. The hot favourites Japanese cake, Butter beans, and fancy square cake. Never have I seen these done so perfectly anywhere else, for decades! The good old Plum cake with Royal icing, is the perfect one for Christmas!

Society Bakery is nostalgia for every 80s and 90s kids who grew up in Kochi.No trips to MG Road are complete without a visit to Society bakery, since 2003.The Japanese cakes, butter beans and lime cakes are super consistent that they taste even today, the same as the one I had when I was third standard kid.The only downside is that they do not accept cards/UPI/Wallets, yet! Thats forgivable given the quality of the products served.

Fresh and tasty puffs, soft bread, spongy buns make this place great for bakery food. They have wheat bread too. Every day all fresh stuff will run out by 4.30 in the evening. I love their plum cakes very much. For the last so many years they are maintaining the quality.

An old time bakery well known among the locals for good taste and great quality. Its run by a society so pricing too is reasonable. Even though the shop may not look fancy, it will definitely stand out in quality products. The staff too is friendly and helpful.

Their bread , cutlet , Rolls are must try savory items. Their butter icing cakes are really good!

Juices are good. But once I found that they are using milk from tamilnadu for making tea and coffee. Recently only govt has announced that 40% of the milk used in India are fake milk. I asked them why dont you use the state owned milma milk , but they told we were using this milk for long time
