The shop has all types of items as needed in a Chips shop. Neat shop with fresh and well displayed items.The only drawback, I personally felt, that only cash payments are accepted and just a hand written bill is provided by default. That is the only reason for me giving it 3 *s and not 4.

Got to taste the banana chips and buy at good price. But they did not have sample for other products which was a let down. Shop is clean and product quality looked good.

Never buy here, they sell perished Chips. they cheated on my Dad and his friends, when they went for a travel and bought Jackfruit chips.almost 3kg sold were perished chips, may be it was a Corona period left over stocks. they are cheaters.while i approached them, no proper response. they very well recognised my compliant and its a deliberate attempt to sell their old perished chips to some travellers who may be a one time visitors, particularly travellers.this is unacceptable, as we feed this to young children, which might cause food poison and spoil their health??

Nice fresh chips.... have been buying banana chips from here for over 10 years. Crisp and fresh.... you can safely carry with you if you plan to gift the same while visit friends.... stays fresh for a reasonably long time. They also have a lot of options of other Kerala chips like tapioca, jackfruit etc. Recommended strongly.

The original, thin banana chips store. The best available. Freshly sliced and fried in-store. An assortment of Kerala snacks also available. Many other stores now call themselves Malabar Chips but this is the original store. The taste and quality of their banana chip is simply the best and cannot be found anywhere else.

The place had a lot of varieties and the banana chips were great. The only issue i had is the place is that they dont have any live chips preparing experience and except banana chips you cant taste any other item which makes it difficult to understand what else to buy.

Best banana chips in town. Been there for more than 25 years. The chips are made in coconut oil and has a fantastic taste. Varieties of chips, Coates, chilli, ripe banana chips, all are available. Parking will be a problem though, for cars.

- ultimate shop for snacking kerala specific delicacies- chips chips chips- quality product- price is decent w.r.t quality/quantity- friendly people- other than chips you have all traditional kurr kurr items- pickles/papdams etc are also available.- these guys have no branches. You will find 5-6 malabar chips ( yellow lights/tons of banana chips/coconut oil on display) around the ernakulam south railway station area. Those are fake and not original. The quality is also pretty bad ( tried twice ). Stay away from the yellow light ones- they give you large plastic covers , which can be used in your household.- they do special bulk packaging for carrying in train/flight.- Never tasted a bad food item from there.- Best items to try - banana chips , tapioca chips , murukku , Cheeda ( small balls ) , roasted salted peanuts.The only issue i have with them is that , if your making payment through credit card , then you will have to pay extra charges.

Certainly not the best chips you can find in Kerala. As it was on the top of google lost, we travelled several kms to buy chips from this out but wasn’t worth it. Even the halwa was not that great. It is disappointing and they do not accept card or electronic mode of payments.

Tasty banana chips and also spicy banana chips are good to buy here but all the items can be priced bit lesser. Halwa quality was not that great.
