Chicken, Avocado, add Bacon oh My!!This is how grilled cheeses should always be eaten! There were so many fries and you HAVE to get the chipotle mayo to dip it in, sooo AMAZING!!

One guy was there and he was very busy but he was able to give us our food hot which was a Philly cheese steak sandwich and fries with a drink.

Melty sauce is chunky and resembles tartar sauce. Which would be nice if they had (checks notes) a fish stick melt??“Bowl” of tomato soup I ordered more closely resembles a cup in size and shape. Was also $5-$6 depending. Pretty much a joke. Won’t see my patronage again until they make recipes changes which will probably never happen. See you in the obituaries for crumby restaurants.

Ugh, just disappointed when Im eating salad with fake chicken. Old French fries, but their sandwich was pretty good, I had better, but maybe Ill give it a second chance on the sandwich.

Sadly, I had to change this from 5 stars to 1. Ive been to the South Towne location probably 8 times in the past 2 months after falling in love with it. Today however, I had one of the worst customer experiences of my life. The service was terribly slow as they had what looked like a 10 year old boy at the register. I dont know how they got away with that, but anyway when I got my root beer float, it had maybe half a scoop of ice cream in it because the kid wasnt strong enough to scoop it out. The other employees just watched him struggle. We went back to get more and eventually we got the regular serving size. Everyone in line had to ask for the accompanying dipping sauce which slowed things down and when my wife went to get a bottled soda, they overcharged her and their reasoning for the discrepancy between the menu and the register was just Its wrong. As you can see in the menu, its listed as $1.99, but rang up as $2.70 something. My wife took this picture so we could discuss it with someone in charge and the acting manager got very upset and started accusing my wife of being rude. We left a restaurant we go out of our way to visit feeling cheated and mistreated. Its no surprise there are fewer of these than before. I would consider going back if I had an apology from the owner because I felt I was going to be one of their best customers, but Ill just take my business elsewhere for now. :(

Food was okay. Definitely lacking and not what you expect. Fries arent well seasoned, the chicken parm isnt what you expect. Youd expect the chicken to be breaded, nope, just regular sliced deli meat and barely any sauce in it. Get it together guys

So yummy! My husband and I went to Melty Way in Sandy and didn’t know what to expect, I mean a grilled cheese? But the food was amazing! I love the dippers, you get just enough soup to dip your sandwich in, so nice not to have to buy a whole bowl of soup to dip. They are a bit slow, but it is worth it! Definitely coming back!

Melty Way was an enjoyable meal, I would recommend if your not looking for something heavy and more lite feeding, especially being inside the Mall. Our counter clerk was kind, I believe she said it was her first day and did overall well for customer service. It is a bit pricey, I paid $16 for an average meal, that would be considered at a restaurant but definitely quality or quantity, in this matter. I recommend, to have their fries as a side choice, due to they serve them best when its very hot and not cold!

Ordered from the West Valley location and it was very disappointing. The short rib had very little to no meat and the meat was overcooked and rubbery. The chicken parm looked like Walmart deli meat. Could have used more sauce too. Not the worst grill cheese yet very close. Will not try again.

Chicken Parmesan was perfectly melted. The chicken underwhelmed, but the rest was good flavor and quality. No combo option so you need to buy fries and a drink separately.

Service is very friendly. Sometimes its slow but only on super busy days, takes at most 8 minutes per sandwich, they make everything fresh, so I dont expect anything less. But they make sure it gets to you hot. Would definitely eat here again. The best sandwich I have every had in my life.

Tried this for the first time. Got the 4 cheese with tomato basil soup. Delicious, buttery goodness! Grilled perfectly. Would reccomend! Price was fair. Wait time was fair. Employees were not super friendly, but werent rude either. Overall good experience.

This was inside the mall which I did not realize at first. The crew of 3 were awesome, doing the work for 5 people (not sure they get paid enough TBH). It was busy on a weekend lunch time with a line of 5 people before me. The line moved quickly along with a fast Apple(?) POS. Once paid, I got a nbuzzer and could sit down until my food was ready.Why not 5 stars? Because: bottled drinks are listed on the board at 1.99. I ended up paying 2.40 plus .30 tax for my fanta which I had not expected and was disappointing at being misled. Not worth the cost.Also thought the meltadilla was on bread and not just a tortilla. Could be my mistake for not paying attention. However, there was about a good 2 inches all around on the edges with nothing in the tortilla right there. A waste.I did enjoy the guacomole. That was really good. The Pico was more a salsa and while I liked the surprising spice, it did taste more tomato-y than expected.Overall, a decent experience. But I have learned from all this and will keep it jn my mind if I choose to return.

Their dipping sauces, great combinations and their dessert definitely make this place somewhere you will want to keep coming back to. The only thing that would make it better is a drive up.

The incompetence at this place is astounding, enough to test anyones patience. Also, an employee constantly had her mask down around her mouth and would touch her nose and mouth with her gloved hands and then touch the food.

Tried for the first time today. Was fast but the bacon was so chewy hate slimy chewy bacon. Sandwhich was nothing to talk about soup wasnt any better then some canned 99 soup from the store. Shocked they can be in a mall and make a profit. Tried 1x ill look elsewhere not impressed dont think there was even a half of piece of meat on the sandwich and the cheese was scares.

Workers were friendly and the food came out decently fast for how busy they were. We loved our grilled cheese. It is a bit pricey though for a couple slices of bread and cheese. We will be back, but probably not often because of the pricing.

This is a place I would return to. They have great sandwiches and friendly staff. The fries were on the colder side and not my favorite. I liked the 1/2 melt meal option too.

Love this place. Tried it for the first time today. They had an amazing gluten free bread for my sandwich. I recently just got diagnosed with celiac disease and finding good food thats gluten free when eating out is hard to find. But they were helpful and made me feel safe and comfortable with my order. Although their tomato soup isnt gluten free they have an amazing gluten free broccoli soup. Love it.

It looked really good but when 2 cups of soup and one melted cheese sandwich, (we were splitting the sandwich), came up to about $20 dollars, I thought it was just too much money for that...so canceled order.

I celebrated my birthday last night in this delicious restaurant. Well we had a astonishing evening and the place was evidently one of the reasons for this happy gathering. The team participated in a pleasant style, the meals were great and my friends were extremely pleased. We shall definitely come back again for more joyful events. thanks very much.

I had Melty Way food truck come to my wedding, the initial process for booking the truck wasn’t the most professional but I didn’t think too much of it at the time. However when the food truck arrived they did not bring the soup dipper which I had specifically requested and was quoted for. Mistakes happen and The sandwiches were still good without the soup however what upset me the most was the attitude the employees gave my mother in law when she was telling them we had ordered the soup. I, the bride, was off taking photos when they first arrived. So when my mother in law saw they didn’t have the soup she mentioned to them she knew I had ordered it because we had discussed it previously. The guy was extremely rude and said “Well we didn’t bring soup because she specifically said no soup” which was a lie and I have the emails to prove it but he proceeded to say “Do you want us to pack up and leave?” I felt extremely disrespected and they didn’t act a bit remorseful. This was a wedding not some casual corporate event. All they offered as compensation was removing the price of the soup which was only $1 per person. And to top off my dissatisfaction, we ordered 125 plates and only used 95 but not once did they mention that we hadn’t used all that we had ordered nor did they offer to make up the rest of the sandwiches that we had paid for before they left. The food quality is great here but the customer service is extremely poor.

I was really excited to try this. I love grilled cheese sandwiches, and gourmet grilled cheese is even better! But it was overpriced and didn’t live up to my expectations.

Management did a great job in selecting this employee as the face of your company. Kudos! She represents it well. Dont lose her. Oh, and my daughter said the food was really good.

I had the chicken parmesan sandwich, and I was very impressed! There was cheese grilled on the outside which really made the whole sandwich next level. The short rib sandwich on the other hand was kind of bland, as was the soup. Overall Im happy, but it could be better.

It’s hard to get a good idea of how a restaurant is run when you order through Doordash, but Melty Way is an exception. All my food was labeled, my name was also labeled on everything to insure accuracy. What really blew it out of the water though d was the inclusion of the napkins, utensils, and a straw, even though my meal didn’t require all of those. I’ve struggled with doordash in the past because a lot of restaurants don’t include napkins or utensils, but Melty Way made sure that I had them regardless of need. Good job team! Keep it up! Food was also amazing.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Ordered 2 Hawaiian sandwiches and two drinks. Only received 1 sandwich said that the mistake was ours and wanted us to pay for another one. We showed them the bank statement and the still refused. Will never go back and if you do go there make sure to get a receipt. They are unprofessional and rude.

Wasn’t impressed with their “curbside” service...no one came out so I went in thinking they were swamped...nope, no one in line. My order was sitting on the counter. I know the instructions were clear and I followed them so I’m not sure what happened.

I work in a store in the Mall. So, I have had the sandwiches several times on lunch break. They are tasty. My kid really likes the kids meal which does have a good price for what you are getting. It can get busy, but in my experience the employees are smiling and working hard. Will continue to frequent.

We had the food truck come to our work today and considering how many people ordered and that there were only two of them, they were impressive. The guy taking the orders was very kind and personable and asked for my order with a great smile. We will definitely go to the location downtown asap after today.

What you see is definitely not what you get. I got little scraps of ham on bread. They advertise beautifully feathered, thin sliced, high quality, stacked ham. I got what looks like a kids elementary discount lunch. Quality and honesty is not on the menu.

How can you lose with cheesy, friend goodness? This place was not too bad of a wait and the food was really great. Husband got the turkey and bacon and I got the chicken avocado. Yum yum! Good amount of food and good size. Price was typical for a food place at the mall. $7-$8 for a sandwich.

We both got sandwiches and I tried the cheese and broccoli soup. Impressed doesnt quite cover it! We also enjoyed the homemade root beer and split a banana foster melt. I had the Meltyway food truck cater my daughters wedding and was very happy with everything. I had lots of compliments on how delicious the sandwiches were. I was very pleased with the quality of the food. They were very professional and friendly and helped make the evening wonderful! I also felt the price was very reasonable.

Ordered the Turkey Bacon Sandwich, and my wife got the Chicken Avocado, both amazing sandwiches, everything cooked just right and tased great! Our server Angie was awesome, very happy and ready to help! Would recommend giving it a try if you havent!

Sandwich are good

Not bad. Would rate better but when you order delivery your sandwich and fries are wrapped and sealed into foil packaging. When you package food this way, steam builds up and soakes into the food. This resulted in soggy fries and moist toast that has lost its grilled crunch. The proprietors of this establishment needs to consider packing food so that it can vent steam. This is why styrofoam to-go containers have small notches that allow steam to escape while still keeping food hot.

The food is so yummy, but the location in South Towne mall is incredibly slow. I understand they make the food fresh, and thats why its so good but I dont see why they take as long as a sit down restaurant to get food out. Its incredibly frustrating to spend your whole lunch break waiting on fast food.

We have been sitting here for 35 min waiting for our food and have literally had 9 people who ordered their food after us get theirs BEFORE is. And as Im writing this 2 more have just gott n their food. I am beyond upset. But having said that that!! I have had plenty of other amazing experience here . And they are mortified that this happened and refunded me the money! They were very kind and apologized continuously

Coming here in the past I have had great service with the workers here and the food was spectacular from the regular grilled cheese to the chicken avocado sandwich. One special thing about this location as well is that they offer root beer floats that use locally brewed Wasatch root beer and hand scoped ice cream. The people were friendly and the service was exceptional. Fast forward to now I come back with my family from out of town to show them about these great root beer floats and the cool people at the location. To my surprise the person working the ordering station is on his phone, completely zoned out, and not being helpful. After standing for some time he finally spoke up telling us we have to order at the end of the station. After saying I just needed 3 root beer floats he dropped his phone as if it was a struggle to place an order. Then when paying I was given a little attitude which wasnt needed. And the worst part of all of this is when the worker making the root beer floats used Barqs root beer from the tap and did not have a care in the world. Half the battle of being a front facing company like this is to have great customer service. This was not the case and am questioning whether its worth the time to come here to be given such a poor experience.

Had a full chicken Cesar salad today from them. I would rate it as good as a fast food pre packaged salad. I was very disappointed. It was small, lettuce was wilted, cheese was dry dry dry, dressing probably came out grocery store bought bottle. Everything on their menu looks very appealing, including the salad, but it was not. Especially for the 10$ cost. I will stick with R&R bbq for a much better salad and the same price. Maybe their sandwiches are good....?

The grilled cheese was good but I only got a half of a grilled cheese and a tiny (very tiny) side of tomato soup for $8!!! The half & side soup ended up being almost the same amount as the full and side soup. When I asked them about this, they were very rude about it and didn’t do anything to solve the problem. I’ve never written a bad review before but this place is very overpriced and the customer service was awful. Will not be coming back or recommending.

I can see three bros inside. I use the term bros because I cant describe them in any other way. Tight shirts saying things like, Bro, hurry up. or Thanks my dude. They are trying to be as professional as a bro can be. I do see about 20 people waiting around for food and I think, maybe thisll be a little wait but its a grilled cheese sandwich. How long could it take? Its not a complex meal. I walk up and the guy says, Itll be a few minutes. This was false advertising a few means a small number of something.I order only a ham and swiss grilled cheese which costs me 8 dollars, a little much for a simple sandwich but Im willing if its good. And commence the waiting.Ill admit, Im not good at waiting but I am observant. I saw the person who ordered just after me. 20 minutes go by and people get their grilled cheese sandwiches. I still wait. I can feel that bitter rage welling up inside me. Thoughts start popping into my head. Its a grilled cheese sandwich what could possible take so long. I start to count the mount of time between each grilled cheese. Some minutes see up to two grilled cheese come out at the same time. They start mentioning to people that soup will take another 5 minutes. I think how smart I was not to order soup with my sandwich. Another 15 minutes goes by and the girl who ordered after me gets her sandwich. What the hell. I think.Rage continues to build. I think to myself, Surely the next sandwich will be mine and nothing.Ive got to get back to work now and I only have rage and disappointment to fuel my empty stomach. I get in line again, wait and ask for my money back. The guy asks for my name and looks for my order which he seems to not be able to find in the list of grilled cheese that should go out. They cant even refund the money back to my card so they give me cash. At least I got my money back.I would describe them as ill prepared for more than 10 people in a half an hour period, unorganized and frustrating. 50 minutes waiting for a simple grilled cheese sandwich. I spent less time waiting for food on a Saturday at an Italian restaurant.

Chase (or Chance) has taken my order the 3 times Ive eaten here. Each time he has been rude. Not like the generic rude, but condescending and insulting. I wont be back after todays incident.
