Insane Food by the backwaters. Very simple and small menu. The food was really worth the long drive. Google Maps was really helpful in locating the place. The mosquitoes were a bit annoying until they gave some citronella incense sticks. The chicken fry cooked in coconut oil was too good. It’s a must try place. Also the lights make nice background for portrait shoots.

Reached the place by chance... The road to there is a bit off and narrow... But once u are there it is a.great vibe. Ample parking space, nice climate, the lighting under the traditiknal rood, and view. The ones.who run the place also play some music to lighten the mood. The ambiance was great. Simply loved it. The lighting with nothing but the serial lights was awesome. Even the food tasted better.But what I felt can be improved is hospitality. Our group could have spent 500-1000 bucks more if the food has been served in a much better way. There was a deadly waiting for our food, and even when served, those guys messed up.So if they can improve in that sector too, the whole experience will be killer.One of the most peaceful restaurants I have been to. So close to nature... Loved it....

Adipoli ambience...we reached at night...so missed the evening beauty..At 11pm..foods available were chicken putt, irachiputt and chicken fry...all were good..especially the sulaimani...chemmeen puttu was over..it closes at 12am night..

Food and ambience is the main aspect. The taste is superb. A mixed nadan menu at reasonable price with Kumbalangi kayal on one side. The view is superb. Ideal for gang outings in the evening as the service time starts from evening. Easily accesible and parking space for 10 vehicles are available. I recommend this place

It was an amazing experience...wonderful people...awesome food and great ambience...and if you are someone who loves good music with a candle light dinner (puttu,appam,kappa,chicken,duck,fish,beef and everything tasty you could ever imagine) along the sides of the river then definitely this is something you should try out.

We went there after watching the malayalam film Kumbalangi Nights.Very good atmosphere. The light arrangements were awesome. We can relax and eat their delicious foods. Dishes are so good. Especially irachi puttu and vellayappam are very tasteful. Rates are reasonable.

Liked the ambience of this place more than the food.Went with a couple of friends and we just sat there having black tea over gossips. The ambience let us enjoy our time.We eventually got hungry and ordered puttu, prawns, idi irachi, fish curry and beef curry. Idi irachi was really nice. everything else was average.Their black tea is really nice and i had 5 of them. It rained and the ambience was mesmerizing. Led bulbs create a diff feel in this place.Good place to visit with friends. Ample parking space. I doubt if they have a toilet there..need to confirm. Staff are friendly

Nice place, very good ambiance, affordable price and tasty food. It’s located near backwaters and open from 7 pm to 11 pm. Variety of puttu (regular , prawns , beef , idiyirachi etc ) . And not costly . Three of us took 6 pieces of puttu , including prawns and idiyirachi, two variety of beef , kakkayirachi and potticurry and last their signature black tea. It cost us around 680 rupees . Nice breeze will make your evening memorable. Recommended .

I just went on a Saturday to this restaurant it was really annoying. It was really crowded the staff was really unprofessional and the way they are behaving is really bad. Their attitude towards the customers was so bad that we left from there without having Food. Really disappointed.

Cant bear the mosquito bites, you will end up Bitten by an army of mosquitoes, cant even enjoy the food due to the mosquito bites.

This place is awesome. Would like to go there again and again. You will not find any upgraded stuff. Very simple and normal place.One long hit under which they have tables by the lake side. 3 to 4 items in the menu but the taste is killer. Too good to describe.

Disappointed..this is at my own place.. kumbalanghi.. it has a Good ambience... The food is also good even if the number of items on the menu is limited...we had actually planned for a candlelight dinner..we also informed the time to the owners of kayaloram before itself.. they told us that all the arrangements will be done by them..we went there but no arrangements were set by them.. we waited for about 10 minutes for the set up...only 2 plastic chairs and a table with a small candle was provided by them.. not even a table cloth, wipes, nor the plain water was provided by them..we ordered only erachi puttu but they charged us ₹610.. but when we complained about this, they gave back only ₹60..the cost of setting for candlelight is 500 rs.. I think better setting a table in ur balcony and enjoy ur dinner.. please dont get trapped in their words... I think please dont go for an option of candlelight when it comes to kayaloram.. for normal purpose the place is good..

Quite a different ambience. The sort of ambience these resorts sell you for a good buck. Food was average and the owner told us there aint no fish available. We ordered appam, puttu, beef curry, chicken curry and potti. These were all that available in the menu. It is what you get from your restaurant near the corner. I may have a better experience next time. I truly wish.... 🤞🤞🤞🤞

The major highlight - location - the place is by the lake. Good ambience.Food is good and is economical. The black tea here has a bit of cardamom in it and that works well with the dishes they offer.The shop remains closed on Mondays and on other days is functional from 6:30 pm - 12:30 am.

The place is a small shack located alongside beautiful backwaters in kumbalangi.We were first dejected as a lot of the options in the menu were not available especially no vegetarian dishes.But the owner and the staff there were extremely friendly and quickly got things we wanted from nearby market. The food was delicious and inexpensive.We heard from the locals that the place is usually very crowded but we were lucky to have the entire place to ourselves with a great view of backwaters lit with colourful fairy lights.Youd leave the place with a happy heart !!
