Its a very quiet place and old property. Cordial staff. Pool is very shallow 4.5 feet only. Nice for spending a weekend. Very clean and hygienic a highly recommended place during pandemic.

I went to Trident Hotel with my family on April 4th 2021, and stayed for 4 nights there. The place was overall clean and attractive. The staff was somewhat friendly and professional. There were hardworking trainees whom were exceptionally helpful and kind to us during our stay there.However, there were some downs to this hotel such as the fact that the bath tubs were getting worn out due to ageing and the room i stayed in had mould growing under the bath mat on the bathtub, due to not being properly cleaned. For me, cleanliness inside the rooms are one of the most important things a hotel should maintain to maintain the good reputation.The restaurant served amazing breakfast with varieties of food which i absolutely loved! And the staff there was very professional and friendly.The pool was situated in an area where the sun rays bounced on almost all the sun beds there, perfect for getting a good sun tan. The pool area also offered pool toys for kids, and bath towels for every single sun bed there. The pool was cleaned and maintained every day by the staff.The Spa offered amazing Ayurvedic massages. We tried different types of massages for each of us and felt very relaxed afterwards.Thank you so much for a wonderful stay !

Worst service. No one responded at the first go. For anything you have to ask thrice. They have lizards in their room. They have lost my jeans, belt, shoe brush while they shifted my room when i reported a lizard in the room. When asked for it, they said they will check and never responded.

The place is located right next to the naval air base and has a lot of air movement, however the property is serene and peaceful. The place is surrounded by nature and has near to zero crowd. The staff are courteous and are always there to support you. The chef is awesome and will bring up delicacy to the taste most preffered by the crowd. The hotel really personalises your stay.

I stayed with my family at Trident hotel, Kochi for 3 nights and 4 nights. The hotel is located on Willingdon island which is a bit secluded and quieter place and a bridge apart from fort Kochi area. However, one can pick a rickshaw or taxi to commute in all directions.This review is special because after a long time, I felt the warmth of hospitality at a hotel. Accompanied by our toddler daughter, the hotel staff was very welcoming, courteous and proactive. They went a long way in ensuring that baby gets specific food of her liking, prepared to specifications of my wife. Kochi is famous for meat and sea food but being vegetarian, we ate the veggie version of local food at Trident. We tried variety of cuisines, punjabi, Keralite, Italian and Chinese- I can rank everything as perfectly tasting and plentiful. Every morning we were treated to a sumptuous breakfast.The hotel architecture is courtyard style with 90’s look. The rooms of the suite were spacious, well maintained and complimented with modern, clean toilets.Kudos to hotel management- Krishnaraj and Sameer. Heartfelt thanks to chefs- Raj and Pronab and the restaurant staff who were so polite, inviting and prompt in taking good care of myself and my family for the entire stay.

The hotel is located on Wellington island main road and the surrounding of the place are peaceful and calm. The reception area of the hotel is beautiful and you can praise the Kerala culture touch in here. The crew at reception are very well groomed and accomodate all requests of you with a smile. The rooms are of decent size and have nice view of trees or swimming pool depending upon the room category. They have put tea making set in the room and toiletries are replaced everyday. The beat part if the hotel is its hospitality. Its one of the best, they are eager to assist you with smile and are very prompt and professional in their actions. The swimming pool and gym are superb and I had used them frequently. The food including buffet breakfast is an awesome treat for your appetite. The quality and taste of food served is excellent. I would like to compliment the whole crew for their kind support and taking care of us during our prolonged stay. A hotel worth visiting.

Amazing ambiance... Perfect place for a get away.

Because the staff are hard working, conscientious and efficient. Particularly as my travelling companion was struck down with illness and needed surgery Chef Pillai made sure every day her dietary requirements were being met. Dining room staff Arti and Isshika very competent as were Ajit , Allen and Vaisya, Sameer organised the dining room well. Arun on front desk charming and pleasant deserves a mention as his extensive local knowledge was invaluable on an outing. Good to see lots of returners.

The best ever hospitality I have ever received!! They are exceptional at their service. The entire staff of Trident is outstanding. We went with our 2.5 yrs old son and they made our stay as much comfortable as possible. We felt like being at home. At the restaurant staffs were so helpful and prepared cuisine especially as per our taste and choice. I would recommend Mr. Raja and his entire team for their commendable hospitality.

Its an amazing property. Best about Tridents is the kind of care and warmth the team extends fro your checkin till the time you sign off. I loved and lived the hospitality if the promise Trident. however the breakfast spread was not as amazing as I could expect. Infact the buffet lunch and dinner was not served die to low occupancy during my stay.Rooms were spic and spine. Loved the room service and House Keeping which were just a call away and services were lightning fast, may it be a tea or a hair oil all was delivered at lightening speed.Restaurant was a nice silent cozy place with a little or no non sense menu in breakfast. All the breakfast vitals were serves with smile. Compliment the local delicacy serving of Appam and Veg Stew. It was amazing compliment to Chef.Its less of business hotel and more if leisure...I found myself misfit amidst most if the leisurely travellers laid back for a sunny day...However I am forsure gonna be back for more with my family. Five Star Hotel

Airport Pick Up and Check In was smooth. Reception staff are courteous and helpful. Buffet Breakfast is outstanding and room service is quick and food is served hot. I would have given 5 stars but the plumbing let them down...water did not drain away after the bath...stood in ankle deep dirty bath water for 5-8 mins before it drained away...hope to see big changes in the bathroom before I makey next reservation

My God!!! It was awesome. The ambiance was superb. The interiors are done with great taste and you will simply fall in love with the place. The food too was great, service, exemplary. It is a high-end Hotel, so if you can afford it is a must visit place.

Trident KochiWe have stayed in several hotels within India and abroad but the stay at Trident Kochi was a major letdown especially because it doesnt live up to the brand name in terms of the nature and promptness of the staff and quality of rooms. Trident was part of our day 1 in Kerala and the kind of treatment we got, we thought this Christmas vacay in Kerala would fall into the book of bad experiences owing to wrong planning.To start off, we were not even offered a glass of water, let alone a welcome drink. The reception staff was tired and overworked by the looks of it at 11am in the morning- we ended up consoling them. Ironically, we should have been the ones to be looked after since we were up and about since 2am and were the guests in retrospect.Despite putting in a request for early check in, we were made to wait for over 2 hours for one room. The phone in the interim room wasnt operational and so we had to come down to the reception.In the name of deluxe rooms, the interiors were extremely sad and dilapidated. It was a total mood spoiler especially for the start of a Christmas vacay.As for the concierge, felt like he got up on the wrong side of the bed because he clearly was the opposite of interactive, cheery and welcoming. Without internally checking, he confidently gave us wrong information about our meal plans to which we had to show him our email as a proof the same. On asking for an alternate room with a better view, he began cribbing and giving excuses instead of how a normal hotel staff should handle a guest.Honestly, we were just glad that we were there for a day and that Trident Kochi wasnt part of a larger share of our trip.As stated earlier, the dining staff was courteous and alright, but the concierge was a letdown and a classic example of first impression makes the last.However, everything posts Trident and especially the hotels we stayed in (which btw had less stars attached to its kitty than Trident) were a class apart and formed the major part of our Kerala stay.Trident Kochi could have done a whole lot better in terms of the basics that is listening to your guest. After all, hospitality business is all about the guest and ensuring that they go back and tell their friends about it. If you have the brand name with you, respect it and match up to the name or at least try not to ruin it.

Trident hotel Cochin is excellent. The staff were excellent . All were excellent but specifically Ali at the front door was the outstanding. He always made us feel welcome wholeheartedly. The front desk and restaurant staff were great . I would recommend staying at the Trident if you have activities around the island . Breakfast was great but I feel they might do better to have a egg counter in the restaurant than having a leaflet at the desk .P.S thanks all for the surprise

The trident hotel was absolutely fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were well kept, comfortable and properly cleaned in the morning. The outdoor pool was gorgeous and refreshing and featured a gorgeous garden with a swing just a few steps beyond. The buffet was delicious with so many options. The menu was very reasonably priced and included plenty of delicious dishes for all types of diets. We were a group of 21 people and the wait staff never messed up an order or forgot about anyone. Even when we were all swimming and moving around they found us and made sure we got our continuous orders. Id like to thank our waiter, Sachin, for keeping up with us during our two night stay.

Stayed two nights at Trident. Got a huge room that was nice and clean. Staff was nice and personal in most cases. Only small thing was that breakfast staff was a bit uncordinated, had to ask 4 times to get our coffee. Also recommend to book to get spa treatments as it seems very popular.

For a 5-star hotel it is quite underwhelming :( I stayed here for two days. The rooms are clean and nice. They served the same menu for breakfast both days and any custom order you place takes forever. I had to skip coffee on the second day cause it took over 30 minutes for them to come back with it. Its not worth the price you pay :(

This is situated in the willingdon island and close to the cochin Port. The ambience is very good and staff are very very helpful. Food is delicious like every Trident hotel you find around the country. Since it is near to sea, it is a bit humid outside the hotel but the surroundings are beautiful to roam around. We drove to the hotel, the valet will be ready to park your car and give a warm welcome, you will meet with wonderful front desk staff as you walk in through the doors. Once your booking details will be confirmed you will be told to wait in the lobby and offered a non-alcoholic welcome drink of your choice and you will be shown to your rooms. The hotel is well kept and meticulously cleaned every single day, the rooms and toilets were spotless and the ambience was really good. The only thing that was a let down for me was the slight mouldy smell in the rooms, which seemed to go away once the air conditioner was switched on. If you plan to have food on the hotel itself, I suggest that one should book a room with breakfast as the food items are quite expensive. There is a lack of public transport outside the hotel premises so you will have to make arrangements on your own or tell the front desk. The hotel does not offer any views, if that is what you have in mind kindly check other hotels. The place is quite and far off from the city traffic of Kochi. The swimming pool if 4.5 feet deep evenly and well kept, it is open 24 hours for all the guests however life guard wont be available after 7pm. The staff are really polite and helpful, to be honest one of my best experiences. Overall we enjoyed the stay in the hotel.

Being advertised as a 5 star resort on the internet, I had high expectations from this hotel. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of options and we really enjoyed the food.However when we arrived the receptionist seemed to be new and the service provided was not up to the level.Once we arrived to the room, we were not impressed as well. It was not as the photos. It does needs refurbishment as it seems quite old.The pool, which looked amazing on photos, was in fact very dirty was and closed for maintenance during our stay.
