I had given my car for service at Renault Kalamassery few days ago and I am dissatisfied with the service. Firstly I want to highlight that the customer care executive keeps calling you stating your service is due and they have offers going on etc and i was promised they will do the service including oil change etc at 3500 but I was charged 6000/-. They were kind enough to take my car from home and return it by evening after the service however they called me stating they had to change the spark plug check the brake etc and that will cost me even though I had taken a 5 year warranty extension. I was surprised that mentioned everything will be covered in 3500 but it was not the case. I am dissatisfied with that part. And just the labour charge alone was 2000/- separate labour charges was taken for each part. Usually the labour charge should have been free since u had taken extended warranty in all fields. Its absolutely useless of taking the extended warranty is what I felt after the service I received from Renault during this pandemic. Purely DISSATISFIED with the service and overall.

I have been using Triber for the last two years, I found it quiet comfortable , easy to handle, meet all our family purpose (there is no need to call another car for additional members and luggages), easy to drive in cities(my first car was maruti 800) like wise it security rating also good. I bought this triber in name of my wife. Thank you triber and it services .

Unfortunatly I made up my mind to go for Renault Triber. While checking for the dealers in Kerala; I came to know that there are 23 showrooms across Kerala and all the showrooms are of one company (TV Sundaram Iyengar & Sons Pvt. Ltd.) which show that the Renault Car distribution is a complete monopoly business in Kerala.Please be carefulNever opt for a monopoly product with one distributor. If there will be multiple distributors then customers can have multiple choice and can even get more benefit.Before making the payment ask for all discounts whether we are eligible and carefully check whether any hidden conditions are there or not.Compare the cost of insurance with a minimum of 4 insurance companies with the dealer quote. The outside quote will be 35% lesser than the dealer quote. The dealer will be getting a fixed commission, as per IRDA a minimum of 15% and a maximum of 35% depending on their business.Compare the accessories price with the dealer and also check with aftermarket. The dealer will hike the price and will give you a 20% flat discount. But the after-market price will be 50% lesser than the dealer price.If something is wrong contact the Manufacturing Company, not the dealer. The dealer will confuse and trap you into their benefit.Beware of fake promises by the dealer.At the outset I will appreciate the Renault Company to have such a horrible distributor in and around Kerala. If the sales is down it’s just because of the dealer attitude. At least have minimum 3 dealers in a state.
