I have visited the restaurant with a good expectation which Ambiswamys opposite to Lulu mall, Edapally have given me. But this one - not so good food, ambience and service compared to the above mentioned.Tea was bad, masala dosa and vada was below average and the charges are way higher compared to other ones.

The worst, the masala Rosas masala is rotten, the coffee is not hot, and the juice is not cold. ITS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY AND TIME .

Very neat and hygienic place place best option for pure vegetarian the food rate is reasonable yet tasty. There is live counter you can see the cooking. Last but not the least the staff is so wonderful and friendly no attitude polite that makes this average resturant not so average. Must visit once at least if you are in cochin ❤️ and must try chili partha 📸❤️

One of the finest restaurant in Ernakulam / Cochin / Kochi for Vegetarian dishes. Not all but most of the dishes are of good quality and taste.I personally love the taste of their Mango pickle....☺️Cons : the rate is a bit on the higher side which is a bit heavy for the middle class of our society.

Best vegetarian restaurant in Kadavanthra. You will get taste and hygienic meals. The serving way is something special and the people will taken more care of you. I love the COFFEE... Its something extra special here. You will get Kerala special lunch with several curry and of course prayasam also. Dont forget to try PUTTU and PAYAR. All ok but its bit costly. But you will not disappoint.

Ambiswamy is one food chain thats popular in Kochi, they offer good South indian and Chinese dishes. They have two special dosas,Paneer dosa- A dosa applied with tangy sauce in which fried paneer and vegetables are filled.Maggi cheese dosa- this is ones really different and a sure try for those seeking variety, its a dosa filled with Maggi and topped with lots of cheese; the quantity of this dish is large, a single person cant eat the whole thing, even if he/she can eat a lot in one go.Gobi Manchurian is another dish I eat frequently from this restaurant.Rates are reasonable and the ambience is normal.

The food is average. Its not comparable with the Ambiswamy restaurant near Lulu/Edapally bye pass which is simply too good. Please dont try this out if taste is a priority. Hygiene is good and its well organized overall.

Good service, variety dishes, pure veg

It is very nice vegetarian hotel with good ambiance. Special Sadya is a available at a separate room. Masaladosa and Sadya are their main attractions. The cost is little bit high when compared to nearby hotels. But the quality and hygiene the keeps is great. They have a big parking space.

Went for lunch and me and my dad got the Chapathi set. It comes with 3 chapthis, korma, salad (onions, tomatoes, chilli, yogurt), and some kind of chutney. Good stuff! Simple, fresh ingredients, and really well made. Would totally recommend. Loved their filter coffee also.

Quite expensive for a non AC restaurant. A simple vegetarian fried rice costs ₹101 and lime juice is ₹25!! The atnosphere is not that good as it is nearby busy junction and it is loud. The vegetable fried rice was good though.

Had meals was very good. There was only white rice(no Matta rice) available here. Please do keep that in mind when you go meals here.

Have parking option now charging 20Rs. Food is bit expensive but better and good quantity than Brindavan Palarivattom.

The lunch...Illa unnu...is superb. Ambiswamy lunch always stay apart.The parking is always a problem. Cards are not accepted here is always a draw back....

The interesting part besides the lush green surroundings and majestic houses in kerala is the food that is unbelievably cheap. Ambiswamys just proves it. The restaurant as such is a No- frills and business like affair. one needs to decide what one wants to eat or drink..from the limited range available. choose south indian fare- for thats their forte. Once the payment routine is complete one gets a token. find a table hand over the token and in few minutes expect the hot steaming dish to arrive. Oh if you are looking for fine dining and style look elsewhere. if yoy are looking to have tasty fills to your stomach look nowhere else

Really fine but Im about say this straight, boost with milk quantity was much less😒 expected a larger glass of milk in the morning. Dining was good. Had one ghee roast and one plain vada. Quality maintained well.

Only dosas are good rest are average and some below average. When ordering a parcel u might miss side dishes, so make sure u properly check before leaving.

I had good food from there in past, in the recent visits found the food to be average only.

I have been a huge fan of Ambiswamys restaurant but my last visit totally changed the opinion of this restaurant. We ordered parcel for two cheese dosa and 3 medu vadas. They charged for the same and at the time of delivery they gave 2idlis instead of two vadas and said currently this is enough in a bad tone since only one vada is there. We took the parcel home and while having the dosa with our two year old kid, found this glass piece inside the dosa. Luckily my wife found the glass piece in the cheese dosa before she gave it to our child. Glass breaking accidents can occur in restaurant kitchen but could have been careful that these things doesnt enter in food being cooked. This is total negligence to the customers. I have lost the trust in kadavanthara Ambiswamy.

I do have to add before the review that the place is very hygienic, including the kitchen that you can easily observe from outside, extra points for that.The poori was pretty good in terms of crispiness and had the all the hallmarks of a good tasting poori, however the masala did leave you wanting more as it didnt feel thick enough or even that flavourful. Do ask for a glass of Horlicks if you can as they put plenty of Horlicks to make it extra tasty.

Considering all the vegetarian budget eateries I have been to in Cochin, this place stands out among them. Clean and well ventilated place. Can get a bit crowded sometimes. Food varieties are sometimes limited. I would recommend their Kanji payar.

The variety of food is good. The restaurant is usully busy with people and has a capacity to seat at least 100 people. A grt place for regular dining.
