Not a big fan of their ordering online before you can even enter the building system. I hate it, actually. Food is generally pretty good but I had some chewy chicken pieces. I recommend their 4 dip platter.

Ordered two chicken Shawarma dinners with a few extras and it was amazing. Tender chicken, tasty rice, silky hummus. Love this place and will definitely be back.

Whole chicken meals are my favourite here. It comes with a lot of food and tastes home made, indeed it was juicy and flavorful chicken. Everything came sealed in a big foil tray, steaming hot. Sides were great and large portions too. The price is very reasonable, for $40 bucks you get enough food to feed 4-5 big adults. I dont know where else I can get this much food for $10 bucks a person. Not even Swiss Chalet which tastes like salty processed fast food, you end up paying way more and eating way less healthy.

Great quality food, great portions, all fresh and made in-house. Service was a bit standoffish, but its understandable with how busy they are. They do not have dine in, unfortunately. I was told it might be an option next month.

Totally messed up the order. We had ordered two chicken shawarma wraps and one chicken shawarma plate and fries on the side.We received one BEEF wrap, one chicken wrap and one chicken shawarma plate. Also on all the wraps condiments requested were missing. Just a waste of time and money. Also I had to taste beef which I am not a big fan of.

I have only had take out from here and cant attest to how the dine in experience would be. The restraunt is Arabic inspired and you can see this in the interior of the restraunt. The food I have had has always been flavourful and well seasoned. Their food is not spicy and thus is great for individuals of all ages. The food was also always fresh and their portion size has always been very good as well. Their food is slightly costly but you get your moneys worth.

My second time here in a couple days! I was so in love with the fresh made pitas that I had to come back! The servers were all so kind and helpful. Guyth was exceptionally sweet and accommodating ( he even drew out a picture of our pizza to ensure they had it ordered correctly). This place has been around for many years, and I now see why! Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for an authentic middle eastern meal.

Amazing chicken and beef shawarma wraps. I want to thanks chef Khamza for this piece of art! Me and my children loved the crispness of the wraps and the taste of the chicken with your delicious garlic sauce😋. The fries weren’t that good, but not gonna complain after two hours of driving!

The best middle eastern food in town by far, If there is a heaven these guys should open a franchise there, Im 100 percent sure it would be a success. I could eat this every day for every meal and not be sick of it.

It was the go to spot pre-pandemic but the one service we received just wasn’t it. They were not busy either, our table wasnt clean and the same lady that was walking around with the cleaning bucket-dolly served us the food. The plates were pricey and very disappointing, seemed like they had the orders all ready for us just sitting there before we even got there. I guess we went on a day where they weren’t really trying but I never went back again to find out either.

Food is good for the price.

Excellent middle eastern restaurant in the Kitchener area. Food tastes great and the quantity is worth the price. They even give extra hummus and garlic sauce with the sandwich which is a rarity. The place is nice and big and quite family friendly. Definitely worth the visit if youre in the vicinity.

Arabesque has made a great and very effective pivot to online orders and takeout via pickup or delivery. The chicken tawook and falafel plates or wraps are our family favourites, as are Fattoush salad and baklava. The deep fried pita chips are a nice side snack if you crave crunch.

Amazing food, amazing service....hands down one of the absolute best Mediterranean restaurants anywhere! Staff treat you like family and definitely the best food served! An absolute must try!!!!! Worth 10 stars!

I absolute love this restaurant. I eat here with my family frequently and order either the shawarma platter or the falafels. The vibe of this restaurant is classy and comfortable, and the staff has been very nice in my opinion. I would definitely eat here again because it is super tasty.

This family restaurant cafe blew my mind with its flavourful food and lovely atmosphere. We ordered the lentil soup, and no word of a lie, this was the best lentil soup Ive ever had! The lemon added to it really worked. Ill definitely get it again!Then we ordered the Beef Shawarma and Lamp Chop Loin meals. The food was excellent and the portion were so much that we have another meal for another day.Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a nice meal with a Middle Eastern/Mediterranean/Arabic flair.

Have ordered from here several times - always busy, family run business. Try the Dip platter and order extra bread. Its awesome. Also recently enjoyed the mixed Shawarma with fatoush salad.

I love this gem in Kitchener. The inside of the restaurant could use some updating, but the food is worth trying if you dont mind the dark atmosphere.Some of the freshest Middle Eastern food Ive had. The grape leaves are a must. Best Ive ever had from a restaurant. The fresh lemon flavour is so key to these. The fried kibbeh had excellent flavour. Reminds me of my grandmothers kibbeh. The fresh pita is a major craving. Really really good. Cant wait to try the Zaatar maneesh next time.The only thing I would do differently is not order the falafel as I found it a bit dry than the many others Ive had, and I might choose food to go. I found the service a bit slow for the amount of people in the restaurant on a Saturday at 2. One example was that we had a 20 minute wait from the time we asked for the bill. Again, not many people in the restaurant at this time of day. We had to get up and find the server so we could pay. 3 items we ordered were also forgotten and were never brought to us. We declined having them served. We didnt mention anything because we never saw the server again through the meal, after the food was delivered.Regardless of anything, the food is 100% must try and worth any issue we may have had at the restaurant. Im going back many times and very soon.

Disgusting!!!!! The way they handle food is so nasty. First of all the guy making all the plates doesn’t even wear gloves, making shawarmas with those dirty hands picking stuff off the floor and then touching the food. The other younger guy puts his hand in a pot and stuffs the shawarma in his mouth getting all his nasty saliva on it and then making the food once again. Disgusting never going back, and definitely making a complaint to public health.

So Ive been coming here for years,simply because of their shawarma. Saying that, they can never get the orders right. The last 4 times Ive ordered,its been wrong. I understand this is a busy place, but that doesnt mean stuff is consistently allowed to fall through the cracks. Sorry Arabesque but our relationship is done with, I will find a new.

First time eating here today! If I could add more stars I would! Fresh fresh fresh ingredients and the baklava was insanely FRESH and the best I have ever tasted. Big serving of deliciousness could not finish all in one sitting! Happy Friday to me! I will be back and I will take friends.

LOVE this place! So close to home & in a great convenient location. Their food is amazing, the garlic sauce is fantastic, I always buy extra! My favourite is the chicken shawarma plate with fattoush, and my fiance gets the mixed shawarma plate with red cabbage. The fried halloumi is also great.My ONLY complaint is that they are only open until 7:30!! I have been working late at a vaccine clinic, and just wish I could stop here after work. Arabesque, if you see this, please consider extending your hours to 9PM.

This was fabulous! I think the Lebaneh dip is fantastic - you could put this on EVERYTHING! It is all delicious with the humus and garlic dip too! Pitas are so fresh! LOVED it!!!

I will rate my experience as 4/5 because of its cleanliness, ambiance, food service and quality. I feel it was good value for money spent. My friends and I had a great time trying out the menu and I believe their humus is the best ever. I saw some families there too...I will be bringing mine too

They put a whole unpeeled onion on my plate... I’m not sure what to do with this, it’s not for eating I think. The onion flakes/skin can get in the food. Otherwise the plate was delicious

Where is the best chicken shawarma that yours use to be in Kitchener, where is the tabbouleh salad?!?!? I picked today a Arabesque salad and it was disgusting... chicken was not salted or flavoured at all, the tabbouleh salad was just some cut parsley with a hint of lemon.So so sorry for this place, but I will never order from you guys again.

Wowee! First time going here after hearing multiple great things about it the past year. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. Every dish was delicious and the portions are huge. And the fresh pita is the best Ive had! We had Yalangee (rice stuffed grape leaves) which were yummy! Brought me back to my travels through Turkey. We also had Fried Cheese for an app. Delicious!! Reminded me of a less dense halloumi cheese. Mmmmn. For entrees, we had the Mixed Shawarma Platter (beef, chicken, tabbouli salad, red cabbage slaw, hummus, rice, pita, tahini, garlic butter) and the Chicken Tawook Plate (grilled seasoned chicken breast and all the sides like the other dish). Holy boink, the plates and portions were huge. They give tonnes of meat and salad and rice. Very generous and we both brought home leftovers. Everything was wonderfully seasoned and flavourful. Definitely going to return and try the whole menu. YUM. Oh and the servers were friendly!

Its an overall good restaurant for arabic taste. The Lebanese pita and chicken shawarma plate was exceptional. Shish kebab and chicken tawook are worth mentioning too. They are super tender and shish kebab is full of flavor. Its good to try the moe plate if you wanna taste a bit of all skewers. Staff is super friendly but there is a bit of waiting here. Thank you.

4/5 taste is good but not better than paramount fine foods. its pretty much expensive. customer service is good. ambiance is unique and depicts middle eastern decor. pita bread freshly out from oven is a must to try with appetizers.Update Nov 2018: I tried it again and found it better than Al Madina Restaurent in Boardwalk, Kitchener. Al Madina is expensive with average taste.

Best middle-eastern food in the area!

Visited this place for the first while we were in Kitchener. Very good Lebanese food, great variety from dips, sandwiches, shawarmas and kabobs. Price was reasonable on dinner items, however beverages (such as smoothies/juice), and appetizers are pretty pricey. Friendly staff and cozy.

This restaurant is providing the highest quality of middle east food. The price is reasonable and staff are friendly. The food is simply amazing, specially the lamb chops. You will love it.

Its a bit far for university students to reach, but definitely worth going to try out some nice shawarma and their pita. Their homemade pita dipped into their baba ghanoush... pretty legit. However, its on the pricier side. But the food doesnt disappoint. Youll be getting one of the most authentic cuisines you can get in Waterloo/Kitchener region.

Very nice place, food variety is good, food quality is very good, all the main dishes I tried there come with rice or fries, and salad, which is great.The ambience of the place is very nice and very family friendly. One thing I did not appreciate though otherwise I would have given the five stars. When we finished eating the waiter brought the bill without is asking for it, which I found rude, as if we are being kicked out. What if we wanted a dessert or wanted to have coffee?But overall the place is good.

There are many similar restaurants, but few that offer authentic wood oven and such specialty dishes executed with such care and expertise. The food was unbelievable. Easily the best middle Eastern food Ive had in a very long time. We always love the food at Arabesque and are so happy to keep supporting one of our favourite restaurants throughout the pandemic with regular takeout orders.I am frustrated that on the last two times I’ve been to pick up food, one of the kitchen staff is preparing food with a mask that is sitting below the chin. We want to keep everyone safe, but I’m reluctant to recommend this as a safe pickup restaurant for those who are at greatest risk from the coronavirus. Please ensure everyone is wearing their mask properly in the kitchen so we can continue to support and recommend your restaurant to everyone.

Oh the food is so so so good!!Oh the service is terrible. We get seated, then we’re left alone to look at menus for like 18-20 min without even a glass of water.Lady that served us spoke poor English. I ordered the shawarma plate & asked for double meat, wife ordered the shawarma pizza.... After 22 more minutes of waiting for our food, it finally came (we were told 10-15 min lol)...My “double meat” turned into a side order of beef lol. I asked what happened & she replied.. “extra beef extra beef”... since everything was tasty I just rolled with it... if you want really good Mediterranean at the cost of poor service, this is the place. I go when I’m up for it... at times it’s worth it lol
