Great little local cafe in Kingsbury. Been going here for 2 years and the quality has just got better. Friendly staff, great coffee and great food. The potato gratin is a stand out.Appreciate them serving the community throughout Covid.

Great little local cafe

I initially found this place as its around the corner from the park I take my dog to on my lunch break, and I havent stopped coming back since! Best coffee on this side of town, great food, amazing friendly staff who take the time to talk to their customers and get to know their regulars. Red Door is honestly a shining example of a what a local cafe should be. Thanks guys!

Coffee is always good. But kitchen is a nightmare. 40 mins for 2 BLT sandwiches take away. Was told 15 mins.

Cute little gem hidden away from the hustle and bustle of town. I love the antique decor! I had late breakfast and it was really good. Presentation was on point for location, coffee was great and service was okay. I would definitely recommend. On a busy day, one might need to book ahead because seating is quite limited.

The Cafe looked good with the Retro look. There was a great choice and when the food came out it was delicious . The coffee and hot chocolate were fantastic and would highly recommend them, they did a great job. I will be definitely go again.

I have been coming here since the red door first opened and I can safely say it is my favourite cafe in the entirety of Melbourne.They are so accommodating to any dietary requirements or preferences you have and I have never felt judged or like I am an annoyance for needing modifications made to my food.The quality is one of a kind and I have never had food that is made with such care and love anywhere else. The atmosphere is inviting and comforting and everyone I introduce to this splediferous place is as astonished as I am.

I have been a customer of Red Door Cafe since it opened. I have been here many times with family and friends every single meal has always been extremely delicious and the coffee, hot chocolates, milk shakes are the best in Melb. The customer services cant be beaten anywhere, nothing is ever too much trouble especially when catering for allergies. The reorganising of the cafe for customers safety during ISO must be commended, loving my takeaway orders still very delicious and hot. Well done Dom, Vicki and chefs definitely five STARS ***** will certainly be back.

Red Door Cafe is a terrific local gathering place for young families and elders alike.Owners Dominic and Vicki are great hosts and the coffee and food selection are excellent.Sunday mornings can be very boisterous with people chatting but it all adds to the good vibes of people enjoying themselves.Highly.recommended! 5stars!

Tried this place for the first time this morning. Hidden gem on link st next to a little neighborhood park. It had a clean modern/vintage set up, the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Coffee was great! The food was simple, fresh and delicious. And the portions were big! Definitely value for money.

Lovely ambiance. Mismatched chairs and tables. Adds a very relaxed and homely feel. Food was amazing the potato gratin is AMAZING. Background noise can climb quickly so not the place for a quiet conversation, though I blame that more on the loudmouths all around me rather than the staff. Who are friendly and professional and prompt with service. I will deffo be back.

Friendly and laid back. In a small strip of shops overlooking a small park with childrens playground. Good for the whole family, indoor and outdoor seating. Reasonable prices for prepared cold take away and hot dishes.

Food was nice, but did take a long time to get to us. Asked about swapping out a menu item, but got charged for it anyway. Considering how many great places there are now in the area, I dont think well be coming back in a hurry.

I really like this little cafe. Friendly staff and nice andclean. I would love to see some yogurt or fruit salad for sale and smoothies would be great, apart from that everything we have eaten there has been fresh and nice.

Made the move from Kew to Reservoir 7 months ago which meant I had to find another local cafe - I’m pretty picky and used to get mine from Willo Cafe(Kew) which gave me even higher standards of coffee quality! Took me awhile after trying the cafes on Broadway & Summerhill 👎🏽 but super relieved to have found this gem only a 2 min drive from me! Definite standout amongst the rest - highly recommend :)
