Is this place is Thrissur district...!!We cant imagine a one like this here... WoW!!We missed it...Awesome experience while visiting there..It was drizzling when we visited there..Evenings with sunset would have been superb...Next tym vil plan and go there...ASAP!!Vehicles were on top of the mountain....It is crowded in evenings...No steps to climb up.. Just a handrail..Should be a bit careful when climbing up nd coming down..

Cheppara rock garden is good option for refreshing our minds. It has beautiful view point like nelliyampathi.. Better to choose afternoon for visiting.

Amazing rock top tourist spot. Small hike on rock (be careful in Monsoon & look out for slippery parts). Can drive to the top from the other side. Amazing view. Lot of hideouts. Seating available. Can spot some ‘Muniyara’s.

A beautiful place to spend an evening. The beauty from top is really good and the preferred time to visit in the evening as the day time will be really difficult under the direct sun. You can either climb the rock or you can drive your car or any vehicle from one side. On the top there are few caves called muniyara and a pond with lot of small fish. You will get a free fish spa if you want😜. You will get ice cream and there is no restaurants near by.The worst part is parking. Even though theres a parking its not sufficient and people will park their cars on the road and that makes a traffic jam all the timeCost - 0(no entry fee)Note - evenings will be really crowded and there will be some vehicles on top and its a noisy place since people will be bringing Bluetooth speakers and playing music

Cheppara Rock Garden.At last the tourism department have taken over the place and we can see some developments. Remaining Dolmens (muniyara) are now sperated with barriers. Sadly one or two dolmens are preserved, other dolmens are completely damaged. Place is blessed with Natural beauty and suitable for all to spend some quality time here. Its so sad that the authorities were too late to open eyes towards this precious place.

Afternoon visit is too hot... Better to visit in evening time.... Its a beautiful place to sit and relax

Serene place where you can get a good view of the Flora nearby. Better suited for evenings as it would be hot during the day and there is no shade on the top. There is a small shop where you can get snacks. A small area for parking is available.

Cheppaara caves - This place is actually a big rock and the cool breeze on the top of the rock is really amazing.Good time to visit is evening for a nice sun set watch.The scenic beauty of the place attracts many tourists and photographers.

Nice sunset view. You can climb to the top of the rock which is a bit adventourous. You can enjoy the sunset without climbing to the top as well

Very scenic place to visit with family and friends. Btw there is a catch, you need a bit steep walking (there is a handrail provided for support) to reach the top of the cliff. Early mornings or evenings will be the ideal time to visit due to high heat. Couples may have to go bit deeper if you want to enjoy some privacy.

This is one of the most Beautiful and calm places in Thrissur ! The rocks and mountain have no endings !! It is really vast area ! You can explore it in your own way with freedom ! Great view of valleys from top of rock. A very vast rock spreads acres with beautiful ponds. Most of the rock area is experienced on an SUV like a drive through. Summer is very hot on rocks. Lot to walk if you are not ready to be on a vehicle. Benches are built to relax. A windy atmosphere with great views. Very relaxing calm place.

Good location. But development and tourism attraction is zero. This can be developed to a tourism location, but very difficult to get this done given the current approach of the government and the local politicians...

Cheppara which is 17 km away from the Thrissur town. Rock Garden is the highlight of Cheppara. We can spend approx 1 to 2 hrs here in evenings. Personally suggesting that better to visit here in evening, because I visited here after noon approx 3 PM. This summer time make us dehydrated and tired during these cocktail hour. We could enjoy the scenic view along the breeze.

Cool and plesent place to go for ride. You can buy cool drinks and ice creams down the rock there is a small water pond above the hill. Parking facilities are also available for both four wheels and two wheels. Calm and windy place to enjoy.

Not much of a view. Ayyampara at Kottayam is better.

Underrated sunset point of Thrissur. Good view in serene surroundings.Only temporary ice cream stalls nearby. Keep the place clean as it is. Not suggested for old people and people with walking problems

Wonderful spot to spent with your family or friends.. u will be surprised to see such a beautiful place in Thrissur district located just 15 Kms from Mundoor ..Parking slots are minimal.. but if you wish you can take your two wheelers or four wheelers to the top of the mountain.. there is also a small pond in which you can take a shower 😃
