The Ram Raja Temple is a temple in Orchha, Madhya Pradesh, India.[1] It is a sacred Hindu pilgrimage and receives devotees in large numbers regularly and is also commonly known as Orchha Temple. The annual domestic tourist number is around 650,000 and the foreign tourist number is around 25,000. The daily number of visitors to the temple range from 1500 to 3000 and on certain important Hindu festivals like the Makar Sankranti, Vasant Panchami, Shivratri, Ram Navami, Kartik Purnima and Vivaha Panchami the number of devotees who throng to Orchha range in thousands.[2] In India this is the only temple where Lord Rama is worshiped as a king and that too in a palace. A Guard of Honour is held everyday, police personnel have been designated as Guards at the temple, much in the manner of a king.[3] The food and other amenities provided to the deity at the temple are a royal repast. Armed salutation is provided to Lord Ram every day.

Being a Hindu, I was surprised that to know that such an important temple of Lord Rama is so lesser known by us. Its a failure on our part and the Indian Government along with Archaeological Team. It can surely develop as an important pilgrimage and tourist place, in case our Government realises the same. Friends your trip to Orccha is incomplete without Darshan of Raja Ram Temple. “One of the beautiful ancient palaces and temples”. There have 4 temple or all very goddess .It have a magnitude of its own scenic beauty. “A large and suffused compound alongside the bank of river Betwa”. “Beautifully crafted in its own time”. Betwa river makes it more natural beauty. There is forests across the river that adds some more attraction to it.one of the biggest pot and one of the well its having fountain.

Orchha is another famous tourist spot located near the famous Khajuraho Temple. The town has Chaturbhuj Temple, Lakshmi Temple and Ram Raja Temple.The Chaturbhuj temple is imposing with tall spires built atop a high platform. Its exterior is richly ornamented with lotus symbols. The Raja Ram Temple resembles a palace as the Ram is worshiped as a king here.The Lakshmi Temple is an odd mixture of temple and fort and an unique mixture of concentric forms. It consists of an octagonal central tower inside a triangular temple. In line with this eccentricity, the entrance gate is set in a corner rather than the wall.
