Hariyali Tikka Kabab was awesome. I would also recommend cream of mushroom soup in starters. If you visit this place in a large group try the party packs of Smart Pind Chicken or Dilruba Chicken (8 pieces each for 600 rupees approx). Stuffed Naan or Kulcha goes quite well with the mildly spicy gravy. Treats for 8-10 people easily manageable under 4500-5000 rupees here.

Open dining area suits the kgp weather, great place to enjoy evening kgp weather. North indian dishes and tandoori dishes are great. Best quality and great quantity. Palak Corn is a must try, variety in options for vegetarians.

This is a small place that serves quality food and it is a regular among the students of IIT Kharagpur. The place is air conditioned but also has an open place. The food served as nice and the quantity given is more than enough ,but at surprisingly reasonable prices. So beware before ordering as its a regular scene that most of the customers are unable to finish their meal! Hence, for small group of friends looking for quality food at pocket friendly prices, this is the place to go.

Peanut Chakhna Chaat Spicy is one unique item one wont find anywhere. Poha is really worth trying. Good place for North Indian dishes, particularly vegetarian in a decent ambience at reasonable prices and quality. Some of the snacks are really awesome and difficult to find elsewhere. Utensils need to be better cleaned. Service is quick though.

You never know what the food will be like... There were four of us went with a hungry mind, first of all the food was served after one and a half hour and then when we got the food, frankly speaking we laughed of not being able to eat the food(being hungry) and came out of the restaurant. I recommend everyone not to buy any food from this place.

The sub unit of smart pind inside the campus is the worst!!! It deserves negative rating. The quality of food they serve is inedible!! The place is very dirty and smelly. The staff behavior is unacceptable.

Great food! Super liked the tea and coffee options! A good place to get close to authentic northern cuisine taste compared to the lot here at IIT Kharagpur.

The food is great for Kharagpur (too oily though), they serve huge portions and the price is decent (300 for two people). The servers are courteous but the wait time can be a lot during peak hours as it is a small place and gets crowded quickly.

The food tastes great. The quantity is really good and the price is very reasonable. Apart from the small space that gets overcrowded most of the time, there is not much to compain about.

Ordered food. Waited for 3 hours. Food was never delivered and whats worse, they didnt even bother to call and inform that they had cancelled my order.Uncourteous and untrained staff. I wish I could review the food as well, but sadly it never was delivered. Go to Little Sisters or Heritage nearby for a better experience.

It is the best among the restaurant outside Puri gate area of IIT Kharagpur. They mostly deliver foods. Tandoori and Kabab dishes are the best here. Quantity of the food is significantly high and price is reasonable, compared to that.

Other than the rancid smelling crispy noodles for the Manchow Soup, every other dish served was delightful and filled with spice. Hence, let me warn those who arent accustomed to a lot of spice. The service was quick, unlike some of their competition. And the best part being the very reasonable price of the dishes. We got a bill of around 1.5k for a group of 7 people which included soups, appetisers and main course. The dining room wasnt up to the mark and left a lot to be desired. Another thing to be noted, they ask you to write your own order on a piece of paper and submit it which may not give the best vibes but to be honest, Im not sure whether this is a good thing or not. Well rounded experience. A certain recommendation!!

A very tasteful and amazing restaurent i have ever visited. The fisher are something u must taste and its even budget friendly. The service is very well and it has a very calm comfortable and clean environment. Only it can contain less no of customers and is a bit small compared to the customers. Otherwise the dishes are something u definitely should look forward to. The ambience is very pleasent and peaceful. If u are visiting this place u should definitely try the sheesh kebab, the singapore noodles, the chicken stew broth. I highly recommend this place to every foodies in KHARAGPUR if u want to broaden Ur horizon of taste.

I have had aloo parathas, french fries, chicken biriyani, honey- chilli potato, cheese Maggie (read paneer Maggie) and cheese cutlet (read paneer cutlet) from this place. The parathas or any kind of tandoor items are really tasty and the portion size is also enormous. However, for the rest of the food items. RIP is all I can say. I love spices and my tolerance level is pretty high, but not enough for Smart Pinds level of spiciness. My stomach was literally on fire after consuming their biriyani and honey- chilli potato. And as you might have noticed, cheese Maggie and cheese cutlet is actually desi cottage cheese and not the phoren cheese. The french fries are bad and are simply dunked in chickpea flour with red food colouring. However, if you have a high spice tolerance (munch chillies in your sleep) and want to eat some good stuffed paratha, then Smart Pind should definitely be your place of choice.

Wouldnt Recommend.Started out great, But the Quality and Services havedeteriorated a lot.Bonus tip-avoid Non-veg from here except (Chilly Chicken )as the peices are very fibrous and stretchy.Cons-1.delivery time almost doubled from 30-40 min to 90 minutes.2.Often some items are left out of the order sometimes even chutneys and salads.Just recently my stuffed naan and chutneys and salad was left out of the order which took ~90 minutes to arrive, then i called them to send these, its been another 60 minutes now with no sign of food with the money already paid. Even there operator was denying calls when i asked about this.Dont order from here, Quality is still good but services are not good+ HUGE waiting time. There are better alternatives.

Its food heaven for North Indian food-lovers. Almost all Mughlai and Tandoor dishes are fantastic to taste on, however, some tandoori items may have a down-side of being over cooked. Chinese items are a bit bland. Otherwise, overall its OK, in the budget, though some items are over-priced. Average feedback from my side.

Good B.Naan, Kadai Mushroom. Navratan Korma is sweeter than what is served within the campus. It has a lot different vegetables in the consumers perspective. Lassi has relatively less dry fruits. Chowmein is a bit more oily but the Chicken curries and the Egg Fried rice taste good..The only dissatisfaction is with the Air conditioning system and the bizzare odour of the room.

Good robust Punjabi food served fast

One of the few restaurants where you get good North Indian/Punjabi style food without any Bengali alterations. The staff are friendly, quick to respond, accept all kinds of orders without any tantrums like other KGP restaurants. They dont have an ounce of laziness and lethargy as the other KGP restaurants. The prices are decent and food is excellent! We arrived here drenched and they gave us towels to dry ourselves so won me over. Do try the butter chicken. By far the only place in KGP (acc. to me) who serves tasty, juicy and perfect butter chicken.

Pathetic service, waited more than 2 hours to get all wrong dishes with blant taste. The delivery boy was very rude as well as the one on call. Rajma was replaced with chana, paneer with daal, all unnotified. Think twice before you want to Satisfy your hunger.

Worst food among all the resturants near IIT KGP..We have visited this resturant today.The food was worst.We have ordered almost 5 chicken dishes ,4 veg dishes,nun & biriyani..In every item they had given lot of coriander leaves.And the biriyani..Omg!! You cant even imagine..! The texture of the biriyani was full green & garnished with coriander & kismis & the taste was like hell..
