This canteen is situated inside the JCB Hall compound and in front of HJB Hall. The food is average here. The prices are not high. They open at night like all other canteens at IIT Kgp. The place is not that clean and stray dogs roam around you while having food. Since mosquitoes are all around the place you will never feel lonely here.

First of all the chicken tikka masala was very sour and the worst I ever tasted.

This is one of the two co-ed night canteens in the entire campus that actually lets men and women hangout till 3am. Women need to carry their id card for entry. And women are not allowed inside after 1.30am. Food here takes quite a lot of time to be prepared, but its worth it. The butter chicken and Hyderabadi chicken are absolutely lovely here.

Its a great place for fast food. The price is reasonable. The tandoor items are really great. Its very popular among IIT Kharagpur students. Its a night canteen, hence becomes operational from around 8 pm and stays open till around 2 am....

Their food is very good compared to other canteens in campus. But its a bit costlier than them too. Service is really slow. But the food is worth the wait or may be the long wait makes us feel so!!

As a midnight canteen, the food tastes well. The new rule of the submission of ID card by girls only to enter into the canteen area seems partial, biased and chauvinistic. Hence, the reduction in one star. The sattu paratha is my favorite here. Have a go. But, your liking depends on your taste buds. Because your taste buds are your taste buds, none of my taste buds. Provides perfect food for the given price in the late hours of the night when it is hard to find in KGP.

Only problem they have is the time taken to deliver food if crowd is there. Otherwise its one of the good canteens Parota is too delicious. If you are here pls do try Paneer-Cheese parota and Aloo-Cheese parotha.

Earlier I thought everything is nice here then I found a piece of chicken bones in my egg bhurji curry . I didnt Know they mix chickens gravy in egg bhurji curry (they call it Rogan). So if you eat egg but not chicken please do not have egg bhurji curry.Although It was my fault that didnt ask before ordering but be careful.

Nice canteen, albeit a bit pricey as compared to the others. Serves really good tandoori items. Their chicken noodles, tandoori aloo/cheese paratha and chicken tikka masala are a must try. However, they take a long time to serve and the wait in the mosquito infested sitting area is unbearable. Sometimes, they tend to mess up the order sequence too. The place is mostly crowded. Takeaway is also available.
